And that shield has no decoration. Rather plain.

Bulk... SMASH!

I assume he can do that, right?

Dude. His clothes are see-through. That's...not right. Not right at all.

I Got Bulk from 2013!

Definitely the worst Hero from the 'Brain Attack' waves. How plain he is isn't helped by the fact that his helmet looks barely anything like his at-that-point-iconic helmet from 6223 and 7168, which makes it more of a shame that the minifigure-scale helmet from 44025 and 44026 is seemingly based off the one in this set.

I was going to say he skipped leg day, but it actually looks like the only thing he worked out was his shoulders, and he skipped literally everything else. Ironic, considering his all-caps name.

By in Canada,

I got two Hero Factory sets in their canisters earlier tonight for about $5. This wasn't one of them, but still a great deal.

With a given name like that, I would think he'd be a little less...spindly?

After all, he is a cragster and flexer mix. Can't tell which mixel 41517 Balk mixed with, but it kind of looks like it could be 41505 Shuff.

He sure can, he’s The Amazing Bulk after all!

Quick lore 'cause we covered Bulk a couple HF RSotDs back:

Duncan Bulk was the heavy armor and heavy weapons expert of HERO Factory's Alpha Team. While not the brightest, he'd use his immense strength to help defend his team from threats.

During the 2013 story of HERO Factory, Makuhero City (the location of the titular HERO Factory) was invaded by mysterious parasites known as "Brains." These Brains could latch onto the heads of the planet's wildlife to transform them into mind controlled armor. Alpha Team set out in new knight-like gear to fend off the Brains and save the city.

Wild side note, I rewatched Brain Attack around a year ago and something I found strange is that during the invasion you can hear stock sound effects of gunfire in the background, as if it were a warzone. These sounds are unlike the more sci-fi noises HF weapons usually make, and seem contrary to the concept of Alpha Team being the only Heroes in that sector. This seems to imply that the civilians of Makuhero are strapped up with real life firearms, which would be absolutely wild for a LEGO TV show.

By in Canada,

The kind of set you find in a Bulk lot.

The kind of Bulk lot that is usually devoid of Blacktron and full of Bionicle.

Tomorrow: Skull...then Jason, Trini, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, Tommy...suddenly I want TLG to reconsider its stance on 'Power Rangers'...:D

@Randomness: His weapon doesn't look that suited for it. And "Bulk... DRILL!" doesn't quite have the same ring.

Just a bit. But let's not lose the thread

By in Germany,

Just imagine someone ordering a "LEGO bulk lot" and opening the box reveals twenty copies of this set.
The looks on the buyer's face must be priceless.

Oh no!!!!! I watched that film last week. I gave everyone psychic damage that has yet to heal. It's horrid.

As for the set... Duncan Bulk really let himself go. So much that I barely remember this specific set from the lineup.

When I first saw this, I thought: "Oh, look! Another Marvel build able action figure."

@DoonsterBuildsLego:
Nah, if it was Marvel, the name would have some incredibly awkward alliteration.
