Huwbot has been obsessed with minidolls lately...

And you know what? I respect it.

Of course, Emma here is not as cool as the recent picks, but she's great nonetheless.

How many Emma variants are there?

[That's a rhetorical question]

On a scale of the best to the worst Emma variants, this is solidly one of them.

A variant that only comes in a foil pack? It must be made out of entirely preexisting pieces.

I feel like we’re overdue for another Batman minifig…

Nice Minidoll. Can we get a minifig version of these prints?

In the set photo she looks like she has black hair but in this photo it looks dark brown or even with a tinge of purple. Hm, render error?

I wonder if it could be the lighting or reflections?

Huwbot is definitely in love with minidolls.
Emma is probably my favourite of the 'Original Five'. She's the arty one. She has her own art studio, dress shop, art cafe....what a gal !

Brickset has 78 figures tagged with Emma : https://brickset.com/minifigs/name-Emma

But 3 of them certainly aren't Friends Emma but Scala.

And then there are some nearly duplicate variants where the difference can be as small as a different hair bow, or shoe color.

Apparently I have 21 Emma's.
She obviously is my favourite but it's not quite enough for an Emma Army.
(15 Mia's, 15 Olivia's, 11 Stephanie's and
10 Andrea's)

Crazy to think there's an Emma that, between my daughter and I, we do not own.

I wonder why minidolls are even eligible to turn up as random MINIFIG if the day.

Because inclusivity is key, and bricklink doesn't have a separate minidoll category in their database. My question is will brickbuilt figures like the Mario characters be eligible? Or bigfigs like Hulk?
