Today's random minifigure is cty1084 Hot Drinks Stand Clerk - Female, Dark Tan Sweater, Scarf, Ponytail, a Town figure that came in one set, 60203 Ski Resort, released during 2019.
Our members collectively own a total of 2,822 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $2.10.

Love the scarf, and this fig is so well done I can almost see the puff of breath.
They do look like they'd work at a drinks stand, and would be very persistent on selling pumpkin spice lattes all year long.

I don’t think it’s considered socially acceptable to refer to the Drinks Stand Clerk that way anymore…
I really like that torso. Feels like it should be used in Winter Village sets.

Since RPotD doesn't seem to have updated normally I can only assume that today's piece is in fact that scarf our minifig of the day is wearing, and its snuck in this article with her!

Nah, that scarf is clearly trying to escape, like a cat that’s being taken for a carry* around the neighborhood.
* It’s like a walk, except for instead of being set on the ground to, you know, walk, the cat is instead held in a death-grip because the doting owner knows as soon as they release it, that cat is setting a land speed record. My parents used to have this person living down the block from them, and that’s the first time I’d ever seen the “kill me now” look on a cat in person.
