By in United States,

No thanks. I'd rather drown than risk flying on that.

By in United States,

So do you only get the life preserver or do you have to grip onto the plane and hold on for dear life in order to be saved?

By in Australia,

Yes, realistically, it's a little flimsy and horrifying, but I just love little sets like this. It's just so cute.

“It puts the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the life preserver!”
“But it just keeps washing off!”

By in Canada,

Aaaand we're back to kit-planes...weird though, you'd think a 'Coast Guard' would have enough of a budget to afford an actually seaplane...or at least rent one:)

By in New Zealand,

must be a micro-scale version of the plane in 60015

Lego City seems to have a complete lack of safety inspectors.

Blacktron had nothing to do with it. Maybe.

Props to this guy for flying with a set of binoculars to he can see where he's going.

Get it? Props?

By in United Kingdom,

That is the face of a guy who has realised he has nowhere to put his binoculars without dropping them in the sea

By in Canada,

Just realized something else: the plastic/foil from the bag has a 'shimmer' like that of water...and kinda' makes the "plane" look like it's listing/tipping...

Assuming that he can’t reach the second jumper plate hidden round the other side, while keeping things airborne.

By in Turkey,

I have seen more dangerous designs than this, but this is up there, too.

By in Netherlands,

Smallsets like these are rarely fully realistic, but it's always nice to get something cute.

I like that it comes with a life preserver.

Also, this set is more classic Town scale than the enormous planes of the City collection.

Someone has dropped binoculars from the sky and injured a fisherman in LEGO City Harbor!
Call out the Coast Guard Seaplane!
HEY!
Build the seaplane! Tend to the injured fisherman! Get the binoculars you dropped back and try to avoid a lawsuit!

NEW from the LEGO CITY Coast Guard collection!

@Binnekamp:
By the look of that plane, I'm sure the life preserver is for the pilot, not the civilian.

I would say this is where Blacktron got their cavalier attitude to safety.

I have no idea how the pilot’s ball cap stays on while flying this thing!

@jschwarz:
They have to get airborne before that becomes an issue.
