----------------------
I typically work in the role of the "Idea Guy." I bridge the gap between wild ideas and realistic execution. Most of the sets on the list were finalized by another model designer! I work on early versions then hand them to off to amazing designers like Justin R, Antica B, Wes T, the Pokémon Design Team, and many others. It's a great feeling to hand it over to colleagues knowing they'll make it even better.
------------------------
As part of the early design work for LEGO Pokémon, we started a big update to our Bow Elements- it was a huge collaboration. We deleted, modified, and added many new bows to improve the building system. The first of them launched with 75398 C-3PO, more than a year and a half before the LEGO Pokémon Smart Play sets launched.Sets designed by Bjarke Lykke Madsen
Hello. My name is Bjarke Lykke Madsen and am a LEGO Model Designer.
I have a background in Mechanical Engineering. After my studies, I resumed my childhood interest in building with LEGO Bricks as a hobby. Later, I applied for the job as a LEGO Model Designer and started in 1997.
It has been my pleasure to work together with so many wonderful and multi-talented creative people within model-design, graphic-design and sculpture-design. All of them are great colleagues, and I am proud to call many of them my very best friends.
It´s important to emphasize, that making a new LEGO set and bringing it to the marked, is a very complex process that involves the skills, knowledge, experience and enthusiasm from hundreds of LEGO employees in many different departments: Design, Marketing, Building Instruction, Production, Packaging, Distribution and more. The goal is to make each LEGO set the best possible building- and play experience for our customers, and it only becomes possible, because everyone is working together to achieve this.
For this reason, and because I am a very strong believer in fairness, I have credited the colleagues, that I have worked together with on the various sets.
When new LEGO sets (that I have designed) have been released, I will continue to update this list with information which I hope will be interesting to LEGO enthusiasts of all ages.
Enjoy & kind greetings - Bjarke :)Le Mans car

Based on the movies, at least until we get a "House of Tom Bombadil" set from Lego. Note that any LOTR/Hobbit set not on the list either doesn't depict any specific scene, or is chronologically ambiguous (mostly single-minifigure sets).
Total sets per movie:
An Unexpected Journey: 5
Desolation of Smaug: 10
Battle of the Five Armies: 2
Fellowship of the Ring: 11
The Two Towers: 5
Return of the King: 7Ninjago sets with non-canon Ninja variants
Ninjago sets containing ninja suits/variants, which have never appeared in any canon media.
This list does NOT count minifigures like NJO0037 or NJO0103, since you can remove their extra armor and make them completely story-accurate.
I'm including non-canon versions of Wu, Skylor and Lil' Nelson as well, because it makes sense to group them with the ninja.

All LEGO sets, no matter how big or small, are the result of teamwork in some capacity. This list includes the LEGO models I’ve designed since joining the LEGO Group in 2021. As a lifelong Star Wars fan and all-around geek, designing LEGO Star Wars models is my dream job. I’ve included some notes on the development of each model in the list below.
Bringing any LEGO set to life is a highly collaborative process with many contributors. While it’s impossible to name every person who brainstormed and offered great ideas, I’ve done my best to highlight the key people involved in each set. Thanks for reading!35 Largest LEGO Sets of All Time
This is the list of the biggest LEGO sets of all time by number of pieces.
Updated June 6, 2026. Added the placement at the sets release date for comparison!
Fixed a glitch with 70620 being in the wrong placement. No clue how long that was there, but it’s fixed now! -05/26/2026
If you had all of these sets, it would add up to 222,545 pieces. (Broke 200K pieces in 2023!)
This list reached a milestone in 2023 - every set in this list is over 4000 pieces! I remember starting this list circa 2017-2018 and only about five or six sets at the time were over 4000, with number 35 reaching as low as the 2700s. Interesting to see how quickly large sets like these have been coming out!
The set 40179 Personalized Mosaic is not included because it is not the same set every time. It has the same number of pieces in every set, but the final product is never consistent. In addition, there are two versions of the set, one with 4,502 pieces, and one with 6,002 pieces which adds to the inconsistency.Sets Designed by Gregoire Germain

Making a LEGO set is not a one-man show. Many people from different departments (graphic design, element design, building instructions development, global master data, lead teams, packaging design, manufacturing etc.) need to collaborate to bring even the smallest set to store shelves. My part is only the design of the model. In other words: I figure out how the bricks come together.F1

BrickList created on 10 Feb 2024Lego Star Wars Sets That Are Long Overdue For A Redesign
As many are aware, the Lego Star Wars lineup is well known for redesigning and re-releasing sets within a few years. Not counting UCS or mini sets, we've had four Millennium Falcons, four X-Wings (the original trilogy T-65s), four Sith Infiltrators, three TIE Fighters, you get the idea.
For the record, I don't have a problem with this as they're great opportunities to acquire ships you may have missed out on and the newer versions are generally more detailed with better construction. It's rare for a redesign to be worse than it's predecessor (except for 75058 MTT from 2014). However, in over ten years of the theme there are a few ships and locations that have only been represented in Lego form once and are due for a redesign.
NOTE: The notes alongside the sets will be updated accordingly when these ships/locations are redesigned in an official Lego set.Lego technic

I owe all these sets below although I can't remember buying a LEGO box for myself in the past 6 years or so, so I guess I contributed enough to make them happen.

A list of all buildings released for the LEGO Town theme (1978-2004), organised by release year. Houses, shops, city services, etc. I've avoided including repeats/re-releases unless they include significant changes. LEGO themselves appear to classify the "City" subtheme as an early version of the current LEGO City theme, however since Brickset lists them as "Town" sets i've included those buildings here as well, for now.
Some sets are difficult to conclude wether to define as buildings or not, so some entries may seem out of place, while some may be missing in your opinion. In Space, but not in EU-Catalogue

That red ship with its arcing contrail! That bright gold planetoid! Old LEGO spacers long for the days when parts with the Classic Space logo were readily available. We have lived through more than one drought of dedicated space themes since 1999. Luckily, The clever designers at The LEGO Group have managed to sneak in the odd reference to Classic Space more and more in the first quarter of the 21st century. Are you interested in hunting some of these parts down? This list attempts to identify more recently produced examples of (printed) parts and minifigures bearing the Classic Space logo, as well as parts needed to complete your lineup of chromatic astronaut minifigures. This list also includes parts that refer, pay homage to, or otherwise intersect with the various space sub-themes of the 80s and 90s (some of these are obvious, while others are pretty sneaky).Sets designed by Leonard Bahro

This is a list of sets I have designed since starting at LEGO. In an attempt to keep things simple, I'm going to attempt only to list sets I was directly responsible for. As designers, we work on a lot of different products in varying capacities. It is very common for a designer to work on a sketch model during the concept phase, and then hand that off to another designer to finish. I don't plan to list models I sketched on. If the designer responsible for finishing the set would like to mention me in their list that's great, but they are the ones who have to do all of the hard work to take it through the development process.
It's also important for people to know that the development process is a collaborative one, and there are many, many people involved in bringing every set to market. While the job of designers is important, there are plenty of valuable contributions that come from all sections of the company.
The Building Instructions team in particular does a lot to make sure that everyone who buys a LEGO set gets a great building experience. Toward the end of the design process, designers meet with Building Instructions to show them how the model is built, and to discuss how to communicate that through the set instructions. I always try to go in with a good way to explain how to build something, but sometimes I just don't have a satisfying solution. That's where the Building Instructions team comes in and uses their extensive knowhow to break things down into a clear and logical series of steps to help consumers get the most out of their sets.
All that said, being a set designer is a wonderful opportunity, and I hope I have spent my time making things that make people happy. ^_^Classic 1990s sets that were reissued in the 2000s
These are all the classic sets from the 1990s that were re issued in the 2000s as far as I know. I wish I would have bought them when I had the second chance and I wish there were more because the 1990s is my favorite era of Lego. I also wish Lego would release more classic sets because I would buy every one of them! If you know of anymore let me know.Legocity

Hi :)
David here.
I am coming from the south of France and i have been designing LEGO models since June 2016.
Here you will find a list of all the released sets i worked on.Articulated(-frame) Steering Sets
This list started when I tried to figure out which Technic sets are set up with articulated steering. There is no proper tag: Either "articulated lorry" or "functional steering" will give you more than I was looking for: Any (Technic) vehicle that has a steering by bending the chassis, e.g. not -solely- relying on turning wheels on their individual veticle axis.
Therefore I compiled this list.
- Starting with technic sets, either in A and / or B model
- Adding City + LEGOLAND sets
- browsing through Space themes (of which I never had any)
- anything else (except DUPLO)
The default list order is from oldest to newest. All the LEGO large vessels

Compiling 'midi-scaled' Lego kits that are not only Star Wars vehicles, but can include ships, vehicles, buildings, etc. from other themes that try to capture the design/look/detail of their larger scaled counterparts in Midi-scale.
Also kits that don't have a larger counterpart but appear to have the Midi-scale size/proportions.
Will be adding as time goes on as more are created by Lego or I find more that meet this criteria.Lista de set de reyes

Biomes in the game Minecraft are a surprisingly complicated ordeal. To the casual observer there are maybe 15 different biomes: forest, desert, jungle, snow, etc. In fact, there are over 60 different biomes. It is difficult to distinguish every biome from one another without knowing what to look for, because many are extremely similar. The so-called "snow" biome, for example, does not exist. Instead, there are six different biomes where all precipitation is snow, regardless of height, and the game's coding ensures that these are frequently generated together. Furthermore, the underground is not its own biome. All blocks that are on the same Y-axis must be the same biome - in other words, biome is vertically constant, until the final bedrock layer. Finally, it should be noted that everywhere in the game is part of a biome, including the Nether and End dimensions. The "Hell" and "End" biomes are used for these, respectively.
This list is roughly based on the temperature value for each biome, which is measured on a scale of -0.50 to 2.00. It will begin with the coldest biome and move into the hottest biome. This way, similar biomes will be put together.
This list ignores Micro World sets.
