Bricklist notes: This was the model I fan designed with Jacob Twerski. I was inspired to make something BTS after seeing BTS Uno cards at a book store. I partnered with Jacob to come up with the layout and minifigure selection. It was a dream come true! James May did the final design and Diego Sancho did the graphics.

Bricklist notes: This was the first set I had the privilege to design.

After just a month of onboarding, my creative lead said I was ready to take on an official brief. I began working together with Ellen on this model, and eventually stole it completely from her… sorry!
With the leadership of my mentor Tom, and sparring help from Chris, Ellen, Jules, Theo, and Wes, I worked on it for the next 2 months. Getting the function of the elevator to work was an enjoyable experience. Making the base sturdy and easy to build while keeping the spinning water function was tricky. I enjoyed cramming as many play details as I could around the model. The pool looked pretty boring before Kirsten created the fun graphics, so thank you to her. Getting to recolor the slides in the new blue violet was cool. Thank you to Fen and Ioana for trusting me enough to bring a model to life so early in my design career.

Thanks to everyone involved, I’m very happy and proud of this model. I guess I’m a LEGO Designer now. :-)
