So 21317 was number 30 last week. I wonder if it can go further, or if 30 is the limit on what's shown on the chart.

The highest number displayed prior to this week's "What's hot this week" was 20, which has occurred many times.
Perhaps Huwbot has had a memory upgrade.

Probably driven once again by reddit visits - a discussion on coinage, where the post examples were the old 10-40 chromes and a gold stud, and this was a prominent example in the comments because of the 2-3 coin print round tiles it came with.
