Unleash your inner super hero with the new LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower set

The LEGO Group today announces its biggest set within the LEGO Marvel collection to date – the new iconic LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower set.

In 1963, Earth's Mightiest Super Heroes assembled for the first time in the pages of the debut issue of The Avengers comic book. Now, 60 years later, Marvel fans can celebrate this milestone anniversary and experience the thrill of assembling their own epic Avengers Tower in LEGO brick form.

It also includes 31 LEGO figures, the most ever included in one LEGO set, including all the iconic characters from Infinity Saga, as well as a Leviathan, the Quinjet and two Chitauri flyers, plus an exclusive LEGO minifigure of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. The Tower build also includes authentic action on every floor and, standing more than 35.5 in. (90 cm) tall, the model is filled to the roof with memorable scenes and an all-star cast of characters.

Get ready to assemble your team, defend the universe, and let your imagination soar to new heights with the LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower set available from 24th November 2023 in LEGO Stores and www.LEGO.com/Avengers-Tower priced at $499.99/€499.99/£429.99.

Nice building, but too large for my city.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is phenomenal but I wish it hadn't been leaked because I'm not as excited as I likely would've been.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A perfect set for those who are interested. I don't think it could have been done better!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Who is going to pay 500 bucks for this?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Feels inflated due to the number of minifigs, the tower itself doesn’t seem all that substantial.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A $500 display model for adults, and they still put stud shooters on the Quinjet...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Neat! I do not care for the MCU but neat. I'm sure this is amazing for those fans!

Anyways, X-Mansion when?

Gravatar
By in United States,

oh my God, the interior is sooooo weak, tony should at the very least have a two tierd suit display, the lab is okay? The holding cell for loki is just so plain, they should've merged the lab and the holding cell into one floor and extend the height of iron mans floor and Gaven us like a four wide by two high suit display. I hoestly could've sacrificed the leviathan for a suit display, but I'll probably just add the one from the 2021 armory waiting to see the top fully in closed floor.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That mini Quinjet is great. The rest is, well, the Daily Bugle building was more interesting with more going on in it and with just as many great figures.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This set is absolutely beautiful but the minifigure selection is just horrendous...

FOUR Tony Stark and two Cap's, but no Quicksilver??

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That's a lot of windows... for 500 euros.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The top floor has a weird choice of interior since that is seemingly Loki's jail cell on the Hellicarrier, which has nothing to do with Avenger's tower.
It seems like the build process for the lower levels might be kind of simplistic and repetitive, but I'd love to be proven wrong. It's also disappointing that many figures do not have leg printing in classic Marvel fashion.
I also like the introduction of Kevin Feige, and I've seen many wish for a Stan Lee figure instead. A Stan Lee figure likely wasn't included due to publicity rights, and since this is an MCU-based set, it makes more sense for Feige to be included. If this were a comic-based set, I'd be making a different argument, but I would still like to see Stan included in a set eventually. A lot of people are also hating on the figure because "Feige brought about the end of Marvel recently", but don't forget that he's also the guy who heralded it when it "used to be good".
Overall though, as an MCU fan, it looks like a great set, that I would one day like to be able to afford.

Gravatar

Gravatar
By in Romania,

So if this has been announced, what set will be announced in the livestream later today?

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

The theme is not my cup of tea and my wallet is thus protected, but have to admit it looks simply phenomenal. Happy for all the Super Heroes fans out there.

Gravatar
By in United States,

is the black panther exclusive to the GWP?

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

I was thinking one of the chess sets might have more than 31minifigs/bigfigs (since Hulk counts).
Including Trolls and skeletons, there are 33 figures in 852293-1 going by Rebrickable.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Absolute masterpiece, but it's time for me to invest in stocks to get this though... (I'm 15)

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Looking forward to images of the GWP taxi!

Gravatar
By in United States,

By the way,the minifig selection is great, but there's gonna be SOME people whining about it.(tommycbricks, the mandR of lego marvel.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why is the HELICARRIER cell in the TOWER

Gravatar
By in Hong Kong,

Not really a big MCU fan, but this seems like it has good minifigs and a great exterior but the interior is just... OK I guess? It doesn't match Rivendell, in my opinion....

Curious to read the review of this one.

Gravatar

For the record, quicksilver's coming as a figure in the summer infinity saga sets in 2024. The back of the torso leaked a few days ago.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I stumbled across a YouTube video in October of 2020 of a custom-built Avengers tower made by Alex Nunes. You can see his build here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1FcdTjBRqQ

His build was amazing, and it inspired me to start buying pieces for my own tower. Flashforward three years: I finally had all the pieces to build my tower in September, and put it together.

Then low and behold, Lego puts out this set TWO MONTHS later! Arrggghhh!!!!!

Lego's set looks like a cool build, and all the mini-figs and accessories are interesting as well, but $500 is really tipping the scale as far as price-point. I'm still trying to save my pennies for the latest Batcave set! And since I spent the last three years buying parts slowly over time and enjoyed the process of building my own tower based on Alex's creativity - this will not be a set that I buy, but I guess it's fun to dream about owning it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'd like to see how this looks next to 76178 . Seems great. Pricey, but wow!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I own a total number of zero Marvel set - I might get the Doctor Strange Mansion for the modular street. But this is a nice building, after removing all the characters. Once that's done, I do not think you have $500 value. So it might be an idea to buy the parts separately, build the tower and change the A for whatever you want - (i.e. Jang could then put a J there!) Or, alternatively, you buy the thing at full price, sell all the characters and get a nice tower for a somewhat reasonable price.

Limited appeal to me as I don't see any recolours and/or new parts. But I do like the tower. Certainly happy for the fans.

Gravatar

Wonder if that busted window can be fixed like the Daily Bugle had a solution for?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

YES MARVEL! This is what we want! No more busts, unbalanced and oversized mechs or dull weapons meant only for display... we need more playsets of iconic locations just like this one! Looks almost perfect and I would certainly get it if I had the space.

Also, I like the Kevin Feige appearance, but would Stan Lee have been a better choice? Just as a little tribute to him and his cameos.

Gravatar

5th picure: Loki seems to be enjoying his pounding by Hulk a lot! Im fact, both look extremely happy. Hmm...

The holding cell makes no sense. It was on the Helicarrier, not in the Tower.

Gravatar

I like the outside, not too bothered about the rest of it. But it's worth a lot of points, although I don't want it over everything else I still have yet to get.

I keep thinking about the daily bugle which I don't like, but I wonder if I should get, because I want this and I have the sanctorum. From a non marvel fan but a modular fan, is it worthwhile getting?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm going to be a nerd and point out this is Stark Tower. Most what's been shown is from the Avengers movie. It only becomes Avengers Tower in the next film (which yes included, but it's most the first film).

That said, I like this. Nice addition to Daily Bugle and UCS Shield helicarrier.

Gravatar

I'm very much a casual MCU fan, so this was never going to be for me.

But still: it looks really cool, and I'm happy for all of the Marvel collectors who I'm sure will love it!

Gravatar

Must admit I have zero interest in this at all as a theme but intrigued by the taxi GWP which would fit in well with my town (including MOC tower blocks!)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was hoping to like this more, but it’s just not doing it for me. I think the Daily Bugle is an overall better set when it comes to big Marvel buildings, despite it not having the most exciting exterior.

Whaaaaa?!?! It was already leaked in full weeks ago?

Seriously though, its getting silly that Lego keeps putting embargos in place on revealing these things....

That said, I really like the set. As said by others, the Loki cell choice seems a little weird as that was on the Hellcarrier, and some of the minifigs, think they could have included more Iron Legion then just the damaged Ultron body... But those things are more personal preferencethen real critiques.

The price though... Okay, so its like 2000 parts more then the The Daily Bugle, but it still somehow feels about £100 too expensive to me as the majority of the build is just windows.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh my god that looks amazing and holy fork that price tag. I hadn't seen any of the images before, so I'm a bit blown away by this, and I want it right away but with that price I just know I'm going to probably have to wait because I need to focus on getting retiring sets.

The Daily Bugle will stick out when placed with the Modular’s, not just because of the size but the style. Though it certainly would look better than this one. I really like the daily bugle even though I don’t have hardly any Marvel sets. Just something about it.

The Daily Bugle might have had fewer minifigs, but they were all unique.

Kinda glad my interest in the MCU has waned. The building looks well done, but it is an easy pass.

The Daily Bugle is all about Marvel fan service to my mind. The building has some cool stuff (the shattered window, the elevator doors, vending machine) but otherwise is mostly stacked window panes. Not my favourite building experience.

I would say this is closer to a playset than a display model

If I were to ever purchase any large Marvel set this would be the one. But alas there are too many other sets I'd much rather spend my money on.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Awesome, but including the Wasp, Wong and an Infinity War-era Scarlet Witch seems a bit weird when they didn't spend time at Avengers Tower

Ironically, with that price tag the only person who will be able to afford to build the Avengers Tower is Tony Stark himself. (Iron-ically?)

I'm just hoping that none of the Iron man suits are new and exclusive to this set.

Might look into the leviathan because I've been thinking about building one for all the chitauri figs I got laying around.

Gravatar
By in United States,

What element did they use for shwarma?
And that is a lot of trans-clear elements. If I were a rich man, I would become richer by selling the minifigs and just keeping the building.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

5201 pieces... and by the looks of it, at least 500 of them will be windows and frames. Seriously though, I'm interested to see this alongside the 2 other Marvel Modulars. As a collector of "regular" Modular Buildings (ever since Café Corner), but with only a passing interest in Marvel, I'm not sure I can justify that price.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Day 1 purchase for me. Love it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The people that are complaining about this set are the same people saying a grey triangle is the set of the year( the venator)

Just because you can't afford doesn't mean you should hate on this masterpiece of a set.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It's quite good but some obvious improvements should be, a properly sized Leviathan (or not include one) and a proper size Quinjet (or not include one). The recent Quinjet is the best Quinjet they have done and it is too big for the platform. Alternatively, they should have made the platform sufficiently sized for the recent Quinjet set, if not to include one. Finally, where is the Stan Lee minifig, Fiege is an ok choice but not sure he deserves a minifig whilst the MCU is in its current dire state, Stan the Man, please!

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

Yes it can be built without the damaged window if you want.

Stud shooters are on the Quinjet so if a kid asks you if they can play with the tower you can give them the jet and the Leviathan without risking a large crashing noise (for a while). :D

The holding cell (and a chunk of Tony's mansion workshop) are in the tower because like The Daily Bugle is the *most Spider-man* a Spider-man set can be, this is the *most (MCU) Avengers* an Infinity Saga Avengers set can be.

There will be videos and stuff soon. Cheers.

Gravatar

Gravatar

Gravatar
By in Poland,

That is a beautfiul architecture set. As always with such huge constructions, the photos really do not do justice to real life view. I don't have the money or space for this but i will gladly look thoroughly at it in Lego Store. It seem very impressive! I also like the new curved transparent pieces, hopefully lego will make them in trans yellow!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is that the Brickset team in the last photo?

I'm impressed with it, and that it fits onto a 32x32 plate - but I do wonder about the balance top-heaviness of it. Hope to see it built in a LEGO store someday.

Gravatar

I the set has way to many inaccuracies

Missing Characters

Quicksilver
Maria Hill
Bruce Banner
Agent Coulson
Happy Hogan

like we really need all the outlanders they were not even in age of ultron which is primarily where this set is from the scene with loki and widow on the helicarrier in this set is ridiculous. Also don't remember Wong even being near the tower. Also I don't like the vision minifig looks from the comics and not the movie.

This set is not as good as Bugle or Sanctum

I'm sure that most people here can afford it just fine. The real deciding factors are time and space.

For me, if I am going to spend $700CAD+ on Lego, I am more likely to pick up a few vintage sets that will bring me much more joy.

Most of the new large scale sets like this are neat to see, but my desire to own them is zero. Seems like Lego is trying too hard to keep up with the MOC community. They can't complete on size and detail and keep sets reasonably priced.

TLG needs to stick with their strengths, like attractive minifigs and fun building experiences. I don't think this set achieves either.

The most egregious omissions are Agents Sitwell, Rumlow, and a few members of STRIKE so the famous “Hail Hydra” scene could be re-enacted in the tower elevator. Does the LEGO Avengers Tower have an elevator? They should’ve added one just for that scene rather than the Loki/Black Widow scene from the Helicarrier.

While there might be a small overlap, I believe you mischaracterize this set's critics. I dislike this set because it's massive, and even though it has such size, excluding the characters flying/fighting on the tower, it holds little visual interest in my eyes. The build also looks incredibly repetitive(as many of the larger builds naturally will be). I also generally dislike UCS sets because they are similarly repetitive and visually boring. Only sets like Rivendell or Ninjago City Gardens make me want to spend $300+ on a single set.

Should have been Stark Tower, over 90% of the events and minifigures belong in that tower. I'm so sick of Avengers Tower, it's ridiculous how the building that appears in the most popular movies still hasn't been made yet we're getting the fourth Avengers Tower in 8 years. Stark Tower would have been a more interesting build with its curved shape. If this were Stark Tower it would have sold like hotcakes, is there some kind of mandate to push the Avengers brand over Stark Tower?

Stark Tower would have been a more interesting build with its curved shape. If this were Stark Tower it would have sold like hotcakes, is there some kind of mandate to push the Avengers brand over Stark Tower?"

Truthfully a lot of people probably see them as one and the same.

By in United Kingdom,

I’m mainly surprised that in the whole theme iron man snd war machine never got a chest plate and shoulder pad piece, black panther didn’t get his own short-claw design piece and vision doesn’t get a dark red print.
A mainly great design though if absent of a couple of preferable characters, interiors and colours.

I'm pretty sure the damaged suit is the only one exclusive to this set. I'm glad, because I wouldn't count that as a separate suit and the un-damaged one will be much cheaper to get.

Glad I have this 40334 already. Saves a lot of shelf space and looks nice with the Gauntlets 76191 76223 bookending it.

I am confused? Didn't Tony convert Stark Tower into Avengers Tower? Meaning that they are the same building, just different branding?

Yes, after the first avengers Stark tower became the Avengers tower. It wouldn’t make sense to make it strictly a Stark tower as the earlier poster suggested, nor would it have sold better.

@Nabii - long time no see, excellent work as always! :o) The Bugle looks so great in my city, I’m not sure if/where I’ll be able to incorporate the tower but I’m looking forward to it.

This one is definitely worth the 5 hoopties. ;o)

Why is Feige a turd btw?? He is one of the greatest producers in cinema history & no one in our lifetime, past or present is ever gonna replicate what he has done with the MCU!!"

Should’ve been Stan Lee. There would be no Kevin Feige without Stan the Man.

There would've been no Stan Lee cameos without Kevin Feige aswell!! If you look back, Fiege has been a part of the Marvel Universe since 2000's X-Men as a Producer, so theres no way you can say he hasn't had a significant impact on Marvel!!

All I’m saying is that had it been Stan Lee included, precisely zero people would be lamenting that it wasn’t Kevin Feige. Had it been Stan, people’s heads would be exploding and every time anyone said “but that price” someone would say “yeah but STAN!!!”.

By in United States,

The set looks very well done. It is definitely a stand alone set though, so will be difficult to blend anywhere. I like the idea and details. The amount of minifigures is a thumbs up. The actual minifigures I have little interest in since they've pretty much all been done before. I will try to bricklink Vision since that is unique, but the rest are pretty standard.

I do like that they included America's ass.

And Loki is enjoying the Hulk smash too much methinks.

This set is not as good as Bugle or Sanctum "

DEFINTATELY should have had Agent Coulson and Happy Hogan. Pepper Potts too?"

I think the set does come with pepper potts

I try to avoid leaks the same way I try to avoid movie trailers. Makes the reveal that much more satisfying.

Maybe they can do a huge Batcave... Oh wait."

Stop it with Batman already!!! Do the Hall of Justice or The Watchtower or The Hall of Doom and throw in a bunch of heroes and villains of whom LEGO has not yet produced minifigures. A few years back LEGO was doing great with the comic-based DC sets, and I wish they’d get back to making them again.

"

I think to do such a massive set there needs to be content that has a wide mainstream appeal, like the buildings from the MCU or the Batman movies. I'm not sure a big enough audience is familiar with The Hall Of Justice or The Watchtower. Just a guess, but I think that if DC sets outside of the Batman lore were selling well (enough), Lego'd make them. I mean, why wouldn't they, unless it was a licensing issue?

IMO LEGO got spooked when DCCU sets didn’t sell well and attributed that to people not being familiar with the characters rather than to the movies being terrible (a quality the recent MCU (and Star Wars) movies and Disney+ series increasingly share now that they’ve sacrificed writing quality on the alter of the woke agenda.

Simply go back to producing DC sets based on the classic comics and characters; throw in a Batman with each set, sure; and Bob’s your uncle.

By in Hungary,

I do not care MCU, it became pathetic for me during the years, but this set is awsome, maybe it can be reshaped as normal skycraper.

Gravatar
By in Austria,

Hmm, the outside looks phenomenal, but the inside is quite sparse. The Daily Bugle did a way better job in that regard and seems to be more value for money. If you don't care for the minifigs and extra builds I wonder if this isn't cheaper to bricklink.

I'll have to wait how it looks next to other modulars.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Less than 10 cents a piece for a licensed-IP set with a truly massive number of minifigures plus a GWP with four more minifigures - but the "it's overpriced" comments inevitably come anyway.

You did so well trying to explain things -- and then you threw in the term "woke"... :'-)

Not going into that discussion, but I do agree DC movies in general have been terrible for the longest time, with a few passable Batman flicks along the way. However, if you want to sell toys to kids, you have to make kids like the movies and their characters. Marvel understands that, for the most part, until they release a movie with charachters no one cares about. Doesn't mean those movies are bad -- just unappealing.

I'd applaud comic book accurate sets, DC or otherwise, but at this point it's probably more likely to see Teen Titans sets than anything else besides Batman and maybe the odd vehicle marketed as a Justice League set.

I calls ‘em like I sees ‘em.

The only honest-to-goodness good DCCU movie is Shazam!. It’s a shame the second installment fell far short of the bar set by the first.

I think it has plenty of visual interest. I'm not really interested in the Marvel theme, but this is a beautiful skyscraper, much more attractive than the Bugle IMO. Too short (as a skyscraper) to fit in the Modulars street unless I can figure out a way to use forced perspective and suggest a built-up area in the distance. No, I have no business buying this given I have no display space (not even enough for a Modulars street, sigh) but it really is tempting. At least it may bump the Bugle off my wanted list....
