City Advent Calendar - Day 13

Our gamer from Day 11 got his ideal set up yesterday - a desk with a computer and everything ready to go. What else do they need to spend the holiday absorbed in a game? That could be behind door number 13, or perhaps we'll go in another direction.
Of course! We can't expect the gamer to stand while conquering all the worlds in the game. Today's build is a rather fancy gaming chair. It has a swivel base and rather modern armrests, and the eye-catching highlight is the bright green upholstery.
Still not much in the holiday spirit, but... at least it's green?

It's still not super Christmas-y, but I still love it.

And okay, sure, unlike Dreadflipper's throne, this chair is probably stained with Doritos crumbs and Mountain Dew, but the point still stands.
It could be Christmas-y! Perhaps the chair was his gift ;)
I think slime green is especially festive…
I wonder what the 1x1 plate with bar is for? A foot pedal?
Anyway, this and the previous day aren't really doing it for me for a City Advent calender.

I used 76200-1 and extended it into a full apartment modular for my town a while ago. This little set-up (Noob/desk/chair) is what sold the CITY Advent to me - whilst not too festive, they will become part of the scene I'm building.

I really had no idea the local Buymore sold "gaming chairs." It's a whole new world of discovery for me when I explored these online. This one's crazy bright, but they can be pretty obnoxious. (Look up Moss the Frog Gaming Chair and it looks kind of like this one)

What if Z was innocently relaxing on the chair when his supposed buddy came over and plopped into the chair without looking first! Poor Z. RIP. ×_×
