As usual for me, I see more use in this as a template to make other things. Primarily fantasy or sci-fi creatures, in this case.

Maybe that's the best way to find a silver lining regarding a promo like this.

I don't care for Fortnite, but this looks like a fun little build!

But 22 steps (plus many sub-steps) for something this small? That's almost the same as my old 8865....

In-game, it is in fact a piñata. A piñata that moves, but a piñata nonetheless. In BR mode, defeating it will reward you with some really solid loot, and in the Lego mode, you merely have to pet it for it to explode into confetti and goodies."

In BR mode when it notices you approaching or you first attack it bounds away from you, pooping out ammo or Slurp jars as it goes, so sometimes just following one and clearing up after it is also beneficial.

The LEGO mode when you just need to pet it for it to give up the goodies is cute.

Is this the closest Lego Fortnite set we are going to have?

There’s an enormous brick built llama plus some sort of “get your photo taken in the game” stall at Covent Garden right now.

If you try to source this from PaB right now, you will be able to get 19 of the the 61 parts. You will have to wait after the holidays period when the standard parts selection reopen to complete the model.
