By in United States,

Commander Fox not to be a hater but are you nuts, the lego star wars games were the sleeper hit from a couple years ago. while i agree that there have been some duds before traveler games is making this one, and like i said before the SW series was univeraly praised.

By in New Zealand,

I have a PS2! I hope they don't do that thing like they did with the Rogue Shadow, give away a free set if you have the X-Box version. I agree with everyone else, the SW games were awesome. I have the first game which includes I, II and III, and it is really cheap yet you get hours of fun out of it, read my review. I also have the second one made, including episodes IV, V and VI. I have not yet posted a review on it because I have not finished. (To anyone who has this game, I still need to do the Episode VI Super Story). They are great anyway and I can imagine what the indy sets will be like, People running away from boulders, fighting mummies etc. Depending on the price I might get it. If it is around the price of the first sw game then I'll buy it, and if it is around the price of the complete saga sw game, I'll buy the complete saga.

By in United States,

Cool! I know that I will buy it for my PS2 or Wii.But will it include parts from the 4th movie?

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

I think that the Lego Indiana Jones will be cool, like the lego star wars games were. Really, these games are awesome.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I heard there are not going to be any Nazis in the game. How do you react to this?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hey, this may be a little off-topic, sorry shadow, there is no more sonic games coming out.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Sonic? Hustla, why would there be Nazis? we aren't trying to relate to real world wars because it's too violent... We've had this conversation before. Also, the other day, my dad's aunty was looking at my lego collection and she spotted what she thought was a Hitler minifig. It was actually the guy from spiderman who was in charge of the Daily Bugle. Anyone got any pics or clips about this? (That doesn't take ages to load)

Gravatar
By in United States,

So what are the enemys in this game anyway? Aren't the bad guys in the movies Nazis!, oh well. Anybody know if it is for pc? if it is not i am not going to buy ANYTHING lego until they make it.

By in United States,

Alright, here are the systems for the new IJ game and the prices:

Xbox 360 $50(most likely)
PS3 $50(most likely)
WII $50(most likely)

I'm not sure about the DS. They might make it for the DS, but probably not. Well, if they did, then it would probably cost like $30. For all ya'll in New Zealand, and Ausralia, and the UK, you might have to do some calculating on the prices. And by the way, Commander Fox, a little piece of advice, if you go off saying that you don't like videogames on this website, then you will get SHELLED with bad comments about you. Trust me, I know! Also, I will sadly not be getting this game because I do not own any next-gen consoles to which a game will be made for. *sob sob*

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ummmmmmmmm, have you seen the commercial? They are only making it for the next-gen consoles! NOTHING ELSE!!!! >:(

Gravatar
By in United States,

Fighter95 is correct I believe, according to IGN, it's going to release for all 7 of those systems.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I'd say! lego expects us to buy all the latest stuff and afford lego? There is always going to be a next generation console and in a few years time the playstation 3 or x-box will be affordable and/or considered very stupid or slow by everyone else, like the playstation 1 has become. Why don't they just make a single console that can sell worldwide. I have a playstation 2, about second to last on the popularity scales of those seven consoles listed. Had to sell a DVD player to get it, as the playstation can double as both. Oh well, here's a stupid question, Who has a PC here? Hehe.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No, fighter, I'm not upset that you had more info than I did, I'm upset that you didn't include the Xbox in that list so that must mean that they are not making it for the Xbox. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! >:( But I appreciate your concern. :)

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Is X-box different to X-box 360? I know nothing about this. There is too many buttons to use on the X-box.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes! The Xbox is very different from the Xbox 360. And, skytalker, I used to have a PS2 until a disc got jammed into it. And, I have a question for shima55: why did you post this article with a picture of an IJ SET? Why not put a picture of the videogame cover? That would have been much cooler.

Gravatar
By in United States,

About what, fighter? I've made a lot of good points and it is really hard to tell which one people refer to when they mention one in particular.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh! Okay then. Thank you, fighter! And, I don't think that buying a console game for $40 is annoying.

Gravatar
By in United States,

i only own a PC and a Game Cube!
(yes ai know i don't have much but that's all my parents will let me have)
I will get it for pc

Gravatar
By in United States,

Okay, please stop! I'm pretty sure that we ALL know that we all have a PC cause if we didn't then we woulden't be posting here. Duh!

Gravatar
By in United States,

ya i know

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

That's why I said it was a stupid question asking who has a PC 8)

Gravatar
By in United States,

alright, seriously this has gone off the deep end
WE ALL KNOW THAT WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET RIGHT? GOOD!
now can get back on topic please!?!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ok! Alright! I'm sorry! I was just getting irritated that everybody was sayin',"Oh yay, I have a PC" when it's pretty obvious! I guess not! Sorry for pointing that out! >:<

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Who are they? Is it very much like the star wars game? Do you start up in a diner? Is there a currency? Who are the bad guys? Can you buy charachters? What weapons are there? Does Indy carry a whip? How does the whip work in the game?

There. That ought to keep you on topic.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ok, well that's good to know. :)

Hey, skytalker, about what you said earlier, about the whole "Why can't there only be ONE worldwide system instead of multiple sysyems?" Well, that wouldn't be good because if there was only one system then the company that owned it would make the price ridiculously high and they wouldn't think that no one would buy it cause it would be the only system out there and we would have no choice. So, it is a good thing that we have multiple competitor companies always trying to be better than the other in quality and PRICE. And, don't think that if there was only one system in the world, the company who owned it would NOT up the price, 'cause, trust me, they would! After all, they are human.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Oh yeah, Leggodt, I was thinking about a simalar thing earlier today. (About Petrol prices). And I came to the same conclusion but that lead me thinking why don't they similtaneously boost their prices so that they don't just complte to the cheapest dollar. This is probably because no one will be able to afford it, (no one can afford it now) and there will be way less customers. However, if it is a life necessity then it becomes a problem. I'm glad that there are loads of competitors so that the prices don't multiply but I would just like the games to be compatible with each other. Of course this wouldn't be possible either because the companies want you to buy their range of games as well, or else the games become merged together and are sold by everyone so no one makes enough money. Also a bad thing about games being sold by one company means that they can charge their prices really high. Although when people buy the console they would probably have a fair idea of what price the games are.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, skytalker, I think that the problem with the Indiana Jones game(there's your on-topic subject, commander-cody) is the fact that it's a LEGO game. You see, LEGO games are actually very hard to make because of the advanced graphics and computer animation. So, multiplying the game for several different systems would be very difficult and expensive for the company. So, it is just a whole lot easier and less expensive for the company to just make the game for the next-gen consoles.

This is shown through a couple of examples:
1.The first Lego Star Wars game was made for all the current systems at the time except for the Game Cube because it was to difficult for the company to make it for one more system; however, in October of the year that game came out(seven months after the game came out for the other systems) the company released it for the Game Cube.
2.The third Lego Star Wars game was ONLY made for the next-gen consoles including the DS, but according to TT Games the company had to make it from scratch for the Nintendo DS which you can imagine was very difficult so all who own a DS got lucky.

So, as you can see, making LEGO videogames is not easy. I just wish that someone would make an easier way to make them. Speaking of which, I've actually thought of a way that MIGHT make making LEGO videogames easier, but it's a long shot. WELL, I think that I've said too much for this comment, so.........

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Yeah, the first star wars game is much simpler than the second. I'm sure that the third is much more complicated too. (I still haven't completed the second one). No one has answered my questions yet. So ...

Who are the characters? Is it very much like the star wars game? Do you start up in a diner? Is there a currency? Who are the bad guys? Can you buy charachters? What weapons are there? Does Indy carry a whip? How does the whip work in the game? How many movies can you play in?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, I don't know. Sorry.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Whoah! Cool, chucky!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Luke Skywalker I don't know for sure but here are my guess's but the characters are going to have to be all the characters from the movies; even if they didn't appear in the movie that long as that’s what happened in the "Lego Starwars games". I would assume the game play would be a lot like Lego Starwars such as lots of puzzles and random interactive Lego objects spread throughout the levels I think this is likely as someone else mentioned the Starwars games where very popular and I dought they would change the basic game platform as it would be very risky to try something brand new; even the vehicle levels should be very similar to "Lego Starwars". I'm not sure if you'll start off in a diner but it will be some place recognizable from the movies. The currency will probably be studs that you get throughout levels and as bonuses. The bad guys will likely be the "guards" and other enemies from the movies.
As you go along you are likely to unlock characters and then can buy them at the "diner", or whatever it may be, and play as them in free play. My guess for the weapons would be guns (both handheld and vehicle mounted likely), spears (and other weapons like them maces axes bows). Indy better have his whip otherwise Lego would have taken out one of the main things form the movie; to use it you probably push a different button to do certain things ex. push "X" and it hurts enemies push "A" and grabs on to things.

I agree with Commander Cody on what movies you can play in during the game. Again these are just my guesses so they may be right or wrong.
Finally I hope that it comes out on a PSP or X-Box as that’s all I have; to many great Lego sets to spend my money on instead of video games :)

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Cool theory, Omgbrick. If I get the game I hope it comes with good vehicles. Like, at the start, I hope you get to go in the plane and crash it. That would be cool. I do expect everything to be like you said, and anything better is a bonus.

Gravatar
By in United States,

What about anything that is worse, skytalker?

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Anything worse would mean that it is under the standard of the second star wars game, and I won't know what to expect for the third star wars game. It would just mean it is cheaper, but it won't be worse. I have high expectations for this game, so much that I didn't include being worse as a hypothetical situation. So now, it better be better! 8D

Gravatar
By in United States,

Alright then! Glad to see that you're being positive! I'm trying to be positive as well. I'll get the game ONCE they remake it for the Xbox.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Leggodt, you seem to have forgotten you could always get it for PC, instead of waiting for an XBoX remake, as it has been OFFICIALLY anounced for PC, unless they make last miniute changes. And the game starts in the College Indiana Jones works at, and there WILL NOT be a sneak preview from Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. (Unless this all changes from now until June 3rd for US, June 6th for EU).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, I guess that seems like a good idea, legoguysw; but I would much rather prefer playing it using a controller plus my computer is usually very slow. I just like to wait for games so that way I'll have MORE time to save up money for them and future lego sets as well. I have a system. It's a good system. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Cool cover! But, what I want to know is if the game is available for the Xbox system. Also, I always thought that the game was simply called LEGO Indiana Jones: The Video Game. But, whatever.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, that sucks!!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

How many lego games have been made? What were they?

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

I&180;ve played majority of lego games on PC. Lot of then was quite poor. But Lego Star Wars is really great game. And if will be Indy like Star wars it will be fun!!! So I&180;m going to play and enjoy it!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Based on your comment, kazimard, I decided I will order it for my birthday. The star wars game is really cool, and the second one is cool too! I agree with you Fighter, except not the transformers part. I can't wait for the indy game! It's probably going to have loads of advertising features in it to make people want to buy lego sets!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Hey, who thinks the graphics in the new game would be better than the old, and who thinks the graphics will be better on the next generation games only?

Okay then Fighter. I will try at sometime today maybe. I'm 19 hours ahead so that would mean we would both be awake at... I dunno. 19 hours is longer than the sun staying up in the sky, a very large time period.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I've already seen a commercial for the game, and it is very humerous. That's what I love most about lego videogames!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Most of the star wars game is pretty much slapstick humour, but there are other funny parts, like the exaggerated movie clips. As an example, in episode IV, in the scene where Han and Luke dress up as stormies, in the clip, lego makes it comically exaggerated and they hardly look like normal stormies! That part was quite funny.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

I can't wait the LEGO Star Wars games are awsome so this should be to!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Skytalker, my favorite scene in Lego Star Wars 2 is when Han, Luke, Leia, and Chewie are sliding down the garbage shoot in episode 4. You see all of them sliding down and then you see Luke sliding down and it looks like he's enjoying it. Then he lands right next to han and starts moving around like he's saying, "Alright! That was awsome! Right, Han?!?" And then han looks at him weird. It was hilaaaarious! :D But, you know, that's why I like the humor of LEGO games. They can take a sad, depressing, serious moment and turn it into an exciting, fun moment. Right?
