By in Ireland,

There's also a few sets added to the sales list like 76262, 31141, 43232 and a good few Dreamzzz sets.

I do like this GWP, but I think the easter ones (excluding 40449) are never as good-looking as the non-easter ones (although the threshold is much lower for Easter ones).

Carrying on the space theme I thought a space ship had landed with cute cubed aliens and the rabbit was offering a carrot as a sign of international friendship.

The Easter sale appears to be a price re-adjustment for a lot of sets that had excessive RRPs.

It is not a carrot, it is a club disguised as a carrot. And the chick's eyes have gone wonky after the beating.

"geo-targeted shopping pages" returns blank for Portugal

In the USA, I'm seeing two promos show up in my Lego shopping cart at $80 -- the Spring Garden House mentioned here (40682) and also an Easter Bunny with Colorful Eggs (30668).

It's a small set, but two GWPs are better than one, especially at an $80 threshold!

LEGO does not operate its affiliate programme in Portugal so we have no data, unfortunately.

It will work for those in AT, AU, BE, CA, CH, CZ, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, GR, HU, IT, NL, NO, PL, RO, SE, SK, UK, and US.

Yes, I got 76416 Quidditch Trunk cheaper than Amazon or Argos.

By in United States,

I did the bunny trifecta with the Jade Rabbit on sale and two bunny GWPs.

They're going to have to do better than 2 GWPs and 20% to get to consider the Hoopty. That's still way too expensive!

By in United Kingdom,

I contacted Lego with a suggestion yesterday.
I suddenly find myself holding back on purchases because I have no interest or room for any more GWP's. So my suggestion was to offer buyers a choice, the GWP or the equivalent in points as an alternative.
My thinking was taking into consideration the wasted production and environmental costs associated with the GWP's that aren't wanted, and obviously the distribution costs and everything else associated.
I'm keeping my money and holding back on purchases as a consequence. Nightmare words for Lego surely.
But to offer points would ensure they have my money and the next purchase would be just around the corner.
Lego have been brilliant with the GWP's in recent years but I wonder how many of us are saturated with them now.
A points alternative would keep me buying regularly ;-)

Dammit Huw, you've made me spend money! However there's some good offers to be had in the sale, shame the animal crossing sets are on back order

That sounds a good idea, I keep waiting for a GWP I like before buying, like you say if points I'd I have spent a fair bit this last month or so.

Is it morbid that I bought the 31154 Red Fox to get rabbit promos?? :)

They basically already do this. Sometimes they offer double points, other times GWPs. You have the choice of when to buy.

That’s kind of the point though. To close windows of sale to customers I’m sure is not something a company ever wants to do. It directly affects profit. Like I mentioned I’m holding back on money that could be in Lego’s accounts because I don’t want the gwp. So not only are they missing my money they have also spent money on producing, packing and shipping no doubt of an item that is unnecessary. And at a time when being as environmentally green as possible is top of the agenda.
I’ve noticed recently that gwp’s have dedicated pages on Lego’s website and they put a monetary value next to them. So what’s to stop them from giving a points option aswell? Apart from the inevitable website issues…..
I mean ok, they don’t have to offer points, but to be honest, an opt out option I’d probably go for at times. Just from a save the planet point of view.
At the end of the day their is no point pinging stuff out if it’s not really wanted. It’s just a waste. Options ;-)

If you don't want the GWP, then buy when there aren't any offered.
I think most of us like GWPs; even if the model isn't of interest, it's still parts. Or give it to someone you know who'd like it.

You have clearly missed my point or just want to be objectionable.
I’m out

Walmart physical stores have the Dreamzzz shark ship on clearance at $80 and the space bus at $60.

Also, my Costco just got Stitch in for $52.

That's a pretty disturbing take on this. Unfunny.
