Whoa-nelly! That's pricey. Do these guys make sense ordering in UK or EU?

I've checked them out several times since BS has been promoting them. It's better to flush your money down the loo.

At the current exchange rate, I calculate this makes a set of 12 about £85 before any shipping costs. That's way above my usual retailer who is charging £60 with free shipping on pre-order.

It says two sets of 36 CMFs for €222. So that's 72 CMF which makes it about £2.64 each before shipping (if there is any shipping). Or £31.70 for a set of 12. Unless I'm having a serious brain fart.

Nope - it's me that's having the brain fart...I didn't read it correctly...DOH!!

By in United Kingdom,

No additional postage charges/import costs for uk buyers, apart from the small charge it shows on the website. I’ve ordered from them 3 times now

https://minifiguresplus.com/ is where I'm getting my set from, one of every minifig for $60-$70 is an absolute steal.
I don't need 60 duplicates from Minifigure Maddness, (did I miss something or is that the only way to buy the figs on there?)

I hope to get at least 1 complete set, then some extras of minifigures I particularly want.

By in Ireland,

It's good value for 72 figures. I've used them several times to get full sets for a few of us in a LUG. Not to be another ad for them but when I've come across any issue, they've been great at sorting things and throwing in some extra things for the inconvenience.

Thought I'd give my experience of them since there's been some negative comments on here.

By in United Kingdom,

For me, when I don't need 6 full sets, even though the price works out at £2.80 a figure, compared to £3.49 at retail, its not worth it to use this offer. Now if I was part of a group where everyone wanted a set, it does work out to a pretty decent saving....

If your going to resell though, you'd be better off buying direct from Lego, as they'd not be offering them to other people at such a discount unless they themselves were able to make a profit off of it.

Given they've worked out the QR/Datamatrix codes on the sets now, its much easier and simpler for me to just go into a store and scan to get a full set for my personal collection.

By in Netherlands,

What I terrible site. I was expecting a neat calalog and the abilility to buy exactly what I want (one of each), but instead I always get banners for useless things, and they only way to get the new series is a displaybox which, as I understand it, will at least contain two of each of the 12? Blergh,

Ordering from the UK, am i likely to get stung by any customs charges?

By in Spain,

Bought 2 boxes of marvel series 1 and 2 boxes of looney tunes a few years ago, I don't remember how much the shipping was but, of course, they delivered.

Never boght again because I don't go for entire series now nor have anyone to part the order with, although for this series I might go for a full set (if I can't find them in stores and QR scan or weight them) as there's only 1 fig I don't like

Yeah, you'll find out that the S&H doesn't exactly work out favourably for the rest of the world. Which, however inconvenient, continues to be something that exists.

My experience with Minifigure Maddness is overwhelmingly favourable. I only regret that I ordered my minifigs early, so I don't get the discount and free minifigs. Womp womp."

I'm normally sympathetic to critiques of people being US-centric in their perspectives - we in the US are indeed notorious for sometimes acting like the rest of the world doesn't exist.

But in the case of Lego, and especially in the case of specialty vendors related to minifigures, it's usually the opposite: the options for getting minifigures, and especially for getting custom minifigures and custom printed minifigs and other parts, are in my experience far greater in Europe than in the US. For example, good luck trying to purchase a custom Classic Space minifigure in a color Lego never made from a US-based web site. And good luck trying to purchase custom pad-printed space (or other) tiles or bricks from a US-based web site. The options for UK-based and EU-based - and even AUS-based - online vendors seem to be far greater.

So I for one am quite thankful to have gotten this info about minifiguresplus.

No problem. I was just so surprised to see that people spend that much money on a single minifigure series. I am Incredibly, happy to spread the word, because minifiguresplus.com is lesser known. Super happy to help! :)
