Awesome! My order might even come in today instead of the 3th.
Thanks again for the thorough review.
It got me even more hyped to receive these.
Except here. We get them in June….yay!

And here. I already bought 96 over the past two weeks.
I already got mine :D
I appreciate them allowing technology with apps that help you scan to see what is inside the box. I vowed after the marvel series and seeing tons of damaged boxes in store I was done with minifigs especially since I spent over 40 plus dollars only to get doubles and still not complete it. But I was able to secure the entire set here with no duplicates and can spend that extra money collecting bigger n better sets as I await the Concorde and London phone booth.
Has anyone in the USA tried the OMGBricks app? Does the scanning feature actually work to determine which figure is in the box?
With series 25 I've been very unlucky and then very lucky at the same time. I bought a box of 6 - got 3 that I really wanted - was somewhat happy. I bought another box of 6 - I got the exact same 6 - I was gutted and totally not happy. Eventually I decided to try getting another box from a different vendor and lo and behold, I go the 6 that I did not have yet - what are the odds! So I guess It went reasonably well (considering the small qr codes were no use for identification). Hopefully this series should be easier to deal with.
I will regret it when after-market prices begin climbing, but this is one I'll just skip in anticipation of the D&D series.

I have used the Brick Search app with success--you just can't use any of them in the tiny QR codes, only the larger ones.
Went to the local Smyths here today, and was able to secure a full set by just taking a random selection of 20 boxes and scanning them with the Bricksearch app in a quiet corner of the store. Took me all but 20 minutes. Also secured extra copies of the Space Nurse and the M-tron figure. All in all, a very fun, whimsical series, that I absolutely adore.
Thanks to LEGO for listening to the fans after the disgrace with opened boxes of the Marvel minifigs. I hope they continue this approach for series to come. I would still buy a full set at a premium if LEGO would offer this online, but also understand why most people would not.
Got mine from Sainsbury's. It's such a cool series.
I especially like the alien tourist with the Love Earth t-shirt because I feel like an alien just travelling and experiencing this lovely planet.
I found some at Target last weekend. Used the QR code scanner and identified one that I wanted, but not any of the ones I wanted most. I'm so glad I don't have to feel up bags anymore...or worse, just buy a box blind and hope.
Ordered myself three six-packs. It's possible this will end annoyingly for me, but I like the odds.
So much Star War this morning, I completely forgot about these releasing today. Well, that and US retailers already have been selling them.
I found them at Target recently, so I scanned and found the ones I wanted extras of. But they were essentially put out in threes, so that was fun.
Now time to build M:Tron stuff
@oukexergon:
Marvel 2 was all small codes. S25 started with small and got large codes later on, but still saw a mix of them in fresh cases. S26 going forward should, in theory, be exclusively large codes. Hopefully. I haven’t seen one yet, and I’ve scanned through about six cases so far (plus I haven’t checked the 36/36 or 30/36 cases I bought).

Interesting. Over here for series 25 it was the opposite way around. The first shipments had the large codes that you could scan successfully, yet later shipments came with only the smaller, useless codes.
I had thought the larger codes were either a tested or a mistake, and since TLG realized that people used the large codes abundantly changed back to the smaller codes for the future.
So do series 26 boxes feature the large codes again? Odd.
My local Lego store had 4 full boxes out, and a line of pre-scanned and demarked individual figures for sale by the checkout.
That store has some cool employees who appreciate their customers, understand how to drive sales, and clearly have an extra bit of time on their hands.
I suppose it's a big reason why I'm still a Lego fan.
@AustinPowers:
Remember, our minifig’s are packed in Mexico. Yours are packed somewhere in Europe. But I ran across mention of another blind boxed toy having a tiny letter on the packaging that could be used to identify the contents. Ultimately, manufacturers who realized that boxes prevent people from identifying the contents have been confronted by the fact that just a few people who insist on knowing the contents can trash entire shipments in a very short period of time.

I suspect this is all a product of inventory and what they ship out. It would be weird if they went backward on the QR codes. My guess is some warehouses did not discriminate between the two and stacked them old first and picked out the new first come shipping time, resulting in this backward pattern of availability at the stores. But who knows?
Bought my Ice Planet Explorer on April 26th, still says "no realeased' on its page, cannot leave a review and doesn't show up among my minifigs. What's wrong with brickset??

Omgbricks worked great for me. Way faster than the other scanning apps too
