Summer Friends sets revealed!

It has been an extremely busy day of new sets being revealed, not to mention the latest Ideas results being published!
Several new Friends sets have been unveiled as well, notably including the elegant 42638 Castle Bed and Breakfast.

Not a fan of the minidolls but damn! The builds from this theme just keep getting better and better! Most notably 42818 and 42638.
That Cadtle B&B is gorgeous. It’s amazing how great these Friends sets look when the designer doesn’t drown them in magenta, turquoise, pink, and bright orange.
IMHO these sets are good but not great, while on the other hand the newly announced City sets are the best I've seen in a long time. So for the first time in a few years, I'd say Friends and City are neck and neck in quality.
With these and the mostly great cross-theme space sets, 2024 is shaping up to be a banner release year for Lego's designers!
Ohhh that B&B. I would stay there. The last one I stayed in even looked like that. Brilliant!
That Castle Bed and Breakfast would look great in a City layout.
I was thinking about buying the creator modern house, but the Friends B&B is more my style... Dang. I have a hard decision to make!
If Friends B&B and / or Creator Modern House don't make the list for Set of the Year, we riot.
I don't ever buy friends but that Castle B&B...
Most of these are pretty blah compared to most other Friends set of recent years but the Castle B&B is excellent!
The Castle B&B looks so great!
I really like a lot of these.
Going out on a limb, here, but to me, that Castle Bed and Breakfast is this year's Botanical Gardens. It's a beautiful building. The one thing I don't like is the studs beside the windows, when everything else is studless, but the rest of the building is so gorgeous that I don't care.
The camp-themed sets are nice too, particularly the archery course. So we're just giving Nova access to deadly weapons now, are we?

42630 is so much fun, looking like a structure straight out of an underwater theme.
A Castle B&B! Just what my city needs :)
Feeling the 42638 Castle Bed & Breakfast and 42630 Heartlake City Water Park.
Friends hasn't really done anything like the Castle B&B before, so that's quite the treat actually, and plenty of City builders will inevitably incorporate this (or a modification of) into their streetscapes too.
The Waterpark looks almost magical - it's the prettiest pool/waterpark Friends set yet, and could even find a place amongst some Ariel builds without any significant modification.
Those cabins aren't going to be very cozy with a missing fourth wall!
Apparently 42622 is why Autumn got that prosthetic hand. I guess she didn't want to use one of her feet to hold the bow. Also, how appropriate that 42636 is a 4+ set.

Amazing sets yet again but seriously LEGO!!! When will the Friends line get a Train or at least a Streetcar (Tram)!!!!!!!!

I think. you missed sets 42626 "Adventure Camp Water Sports" and 42631 "Adventure Camp Tree House", because pictures of them have been shown back in late April.
Struth! When does City ever get a campsite or a building like that B&B ?! Amazing!
I love the B&B but it has probably got an open back, so need two. The botanical garden problem strikes again.
Even more if the next modular has a round tower.

Impressive variety and mix of play and build sets. Looking forward to seeing people MOC the B&B one into even bigger modular style set… and perhaps picking up one or two copies “just in case”
The cafe was design stand out this wave, clearly Friends but clearly more (similar to mansion and dual house set)

I never would have thought a discussion of new Friends sets would have Lady Gaga running through my head, but here we are...
What a news day.
Muted colors of some of the sets are very welcomed, like the house here. Cafe also looks very nice.
Friends proves you dont need 27479 parts for 3657 dollars to make good designed sets with solid playspace.
The fact that Friends had no train set all this years is really weird.

I meant 42618, not 42818, which is a non-existent set.
Agreed - 42818 and 42638 are nice looking sets.

That set & the B&B are good. The others are too similar in theme to previous Friends sets to be of much interest
The cafe is a continuation of the 42606 Mobile Bakery Food Cart. Same uniform for the employees and croissant logo. Could add to the playability to have both food cart and cafe.
