As for this gwp, it means I can't check out the bricks in my bag until the offer ends. This has happened a lot lately, I put together an order and have to wait for the gwp offers that I don't like to end, otherwise they go on eBay for ages.

Alien Space Diner and for some reason I'm thinking of the diner scene from Spaceballs.

I like the old space themed minifigs but the rest is underwhelming.

why is this GWP not showing in New Zealand? I'm about to drop $$ on the Artemis set in a couple of hours when it's available, and it doesn't come up. Only the small combo set of the City Space polybag and Mars Rover polybag.. :/

So do I get the small NASA rover polybag too if I buy the Artemis rocket. I already have the superior Technic rover from last year, so don't really care for the small one, but I find it strange that such a set would not be offered with the rocket.

If only this If only this and 10334 were available at the same time. But I'd rather fore go this one, as I am getting out of the habit of purchasing that much Lego at one time, other than stuff like that radio. Maybe I'll look for it on the aftermarket.

I enjoy this cross-theme initiative they’ve been doing. The current wave of CMFs is one of the most interesting we’ve gotten in awhile.

I would say it is. But, I'm no expert on British dialects. It's one I almost can't understand, let alone place. Sounds affected, but that may merely be my past history with people who travel and speak like that.

Whew! Good day at the local LEGO store! Picked up 42179 because the family is quite interested in its functions. Snagged a box of trees and teal window frames from the PAB wall. And, for the first time ever, the friendly store employees had kindly sorted out the new CMFs so I could get the two that I wanted most. Three GWPs later, I am grateful to have a brick and mortar so close by.

Not quite sure I understand this logic. If you don't care for a gwp as a set, you can just break it down for parts upon arrival. Why would you turn down free stuff?

Good to know. He'd reach a wider audience if he just slowed down a bit. It's almost painful. I feel like I've worked out after listening to one of his vids.

I actually like that accent even though my encounters with it abroad have usually involved stuck-up club people or soccer (YES!! I said, SOCCER!) hooligans.

Maybe editing out the pauses? I’ve seen a few videos where it seems the host only cares about getting each individual sentence recorded clearly, and then stitches together a series of micro-cuts to make it seem like they’ve just been standing there, talking like normal.

2) I added 5008786: "Astronaut Plush" – Red because...well, that was my first Sapceman via 918: "Space Transport"...which I had two of 'em:)
3) Lastly...I guess the Diner's gonna be a drive-in, because I added 60431: "Space Explorer Rover and Alien Life" to round-it-out...:)

I REALLY hope someone decides to pitch Space Quest as show to one of these streaming services.

Lego is remaking so many of these old space minifigures, like the one in: 71037-3 but they dont have the original smiley face which is unfortunate

@AidenBurrett: I don't mind a mix-n'-match on the faces, it IS a lack of air-tanks that's irksome...I ordered orange one in my PaB order, as they are Best Sellers; but will have to wait to replenish the white ones...I do have a few, but I've been adding them to some of 'the newbs'/current SPACE figures like the bike rider...pilot...operator...whatever:)

I got two copies of this, and I haven't built one yet, but I did open one to raid for the minifigs and a few choice parts (like the Otto hair). I was surprised to find one part show up in two different bags, but there's an odd little hidden detail that I haven't seen mentioned yet. It's built in Bag 2, but it references something you don't build until Bag 4 (although it's not hard to figure out what it is if you look at the box art).
