LOTR for the win! That battle at the black gate is an underrated set, the level of detail was extraordinatry for over a decade ago, and the Mouth of Sauron was such an exquisite figure! Also, two-tone cape for Aragorn in that same set, it was just sooo extra! I maintain that the original LEGO middle earth figures were some of the best ever made...
Everyone looking up the companion LOTR sets is in for a real sticker shock on prices, while everyone sitting on unopened sets is being tempted to sell.
Why in the name of all that is holy is the brick-built Gru and Chewbacca sets on this list?!?

There was a reddit post asking what were the ugliest figures ever. These two came on top.
