By in United Kingdom,

always the weirdest choices for brickheadz

I feel the detailed printed elements for BrickHeadz always look slightly off

Also the studs on top of this one look weird

I thought the same, then I looked back at the original Iron Man Brickheadz 41590 from 2017, and the techniques are very much the same. I guess it's meant to be more based on that, than using more 'modern' Brickheadz techniques.

By in New Zealand,

Cool.

The brickheadz from this year have been really interesting.

By in Brazil,

As usual of the numerous Iron Man Brickheadz: ugly and boring. Just like his infinite number of Hulkbuster sets too.

By in United States,

Brickheadz have sure lasted!

By in United States,

I have a handful of Brick Headz but I don’t really get the appeal. Granted I don’t care about Funko either.

But these have been getting pushed out regularly so they must be selling well. So I’m glad you fans have something to look forward to.

I was also going to say something about how I really don't care, but I don't care to.

By in United Kingdom,

Mark 5 is certainly an interesting choice.

Has the best suit up scene though.

There's only been three. Two really, considering how hard it was to get the SDCC set. I wouldn't call that numerous. Now, the Mark 50 is hideous.
I personally would like to see them make the Iron Man armory for Brickheadz, the more unusual Marks. My son and I both enjoy putting them together and they won't break the bank.

By in United States,

I’ve become a big Brickheadz fan but this does not look good (or interesting) to me.

By in United States,

This is a really boring choice for an Iron Man BrickHeadz, especially as a representation of Iron Man 2 when they could have done Whiplash and Iron Patriot, which also would have been more interesting both visually and design-wise? The Mark II Whiplash armor would've been ripe for new whip recolors and greebling.

By in United Kingdom,

Think this is quite a poor rendering of the MK5. Even with it the asthetic the proportions seem really off to me.

I'm honestly surprised Brickheadz are still a thing. My local store barely stocks any of them as they're near permanent shelf warmers, and I've yet to met any Lego fan in person (young or AFOL) who collects them.

Tony suiting up in Monaco is the best 5 seconds in the entire MCU, don't @ me.

It really was just a steady downhill from there for the most part. A couple good ones, but that was in some ways the peak

I can still remember when the trailer dropped, and you could hear the Internet going, "OMG! Suitcase armor!" Speaking of which, that would be an easy MOC.

Marvel peaking with Iron Man 2, I’m sorry, is a ridiculous notion.

By in Poland,

Terrible. When information about the armor number appeared, I was counting on flat silver. This one is as weak as the previous ones.

Well, I’m guessing NONE of the commentators here are the target market …. So I’m wondering who indeed IS the target market!?….

Probably some of the 8,099,672,929 people that aren't members of the site, if I had to take a guess.

By in United Kingdom,

$9.99? This is too expensive!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't see where all this hatred is coming from, this is a descent set and I think a brickhead iron man hall of armor would be kinda cool.

I can't be the only one who thinks that...

I might get it; I have 41590 and 41604, and agree with other commenters that a Brickheadz Hall of Armor would be cool. I'd especially like a Mark I.

Let’s break that down starting with an immediate google unimpeachable stat correction:

8,099,672,929
-104,672,929 straw man imaginary people

=7.95 billion possible people on Earth
-2.0 billion under 10 (Recommended Age 10+)
-4.7 billion disinterested in Toys, Kids, Things without noses, Marvel, or LEGO

=1.25 billion possible customers
-1.15 billion disinterested in Brickheadz

=100 million possible customers
-67 million who only buy LEGO through retail
-32 million feeling Iron Man 2 was the worst

=1 million Marvel / Toy / LEGO.com / LEGO Store / Brickheadz / Iron Man 2 / 10+ possible customers
-300k Brickset members
-273k who would rather get a Dorito Taco meal
-147k saving up for Zelda
-100k not yet over Exclusive-Rex-Gate
-99k that already own an Iron Man Brickheadz
-50k who spent all their money on BLDP
-23k which believe the suit peaked with MKIV
-7k boycotting LEGO over JK Rowling
-992 who only buy sets with stickers

= 8 possible Iron Man MKV Brickheadz customers
- 1 @TheOtherMike who was only playing devils advocate and had no intention of spending his Jabba Sail Barge money on this

= 7 possible Iron Man MKV Brickheadz customers

Better make it 6, that Dorito Taco meal sounds really good right now

I wouldn't even have space to put a Sail Barge if I got one. And here's a number that wasn't pulled out of my... rear exhaust port, but was in fact pulled directly from the set's page: "3 members own this set, 252 want it." I'll grant that three people claiming to own a set that hasn't been released yet seems a bit suspicious (although maybe they could actually work for Lego), but why would more than two hundred people lie about wanting to own this? I know I wasn't lying when I checked that box. So allow me to add a new stat: "One @yellowcastle who thinks his tastes are shared by the entire Brickset community."

Buy me this set to make up for it. Oh wait, now *I'm* the one being silly.
