LDraw All-In-One-Installer 2024-01 now available
Posted by Huw,
The original CAD library for LEGO has just been updated:
"An updated version of the LDraw All-In-One-Installer (AIOI) containing the LDraw Parts Library Updates from 2023-07 to 2023-04 with 1396 new files has been released", writes Willy Tschager, LDraw.org Content Manager.
The AIOI supports all modern versions of Windows and includes the following changes:
- Update to LDCad 1.6d2
- Update to Parts Library 2024-04
- Update to MLCad.ini 2024-04
- Update to Offline Parts Catalog 2024-04
It can be downloaded from LDraw.org.

I use Bricklink Stidio, so... I don't really care
@huw title should be 2024-01 :)
The title says 2022-01 but I think that should be 2024-01 ;)
no mac version, no interest here *shrug*
Wish TLG would re-release an updated LDD, like the one THEY use (no, no foolin'; at least up to and as of 'The Lego Movie', they were using a 'more advanced version' of the LDD...which they've never made "public":|)
Legit, LDD provides generally the best building experience and controls, if they just updated it with Studio's power user features (or just updated Studio to have an option for LDD's controls) I'd be set.
Oh Vienna

isn't the Mac version of LDraw called LeoCad? cause that's something I had used on my Mac before, and I thought it was associated to LDraw

LDraw is the original DOS-based program. I think LeoCad is the main Mac GUI, but I don’t know if they do AIOI files for Mac. Regardless, the part library updates are the main thing for anyone who has been using any of the LDraw-based GUIs, and those aren’t OS-specific.

We don't have a all in one install for Mac but there is a Getting Started page:

Studio uses the LDraw library....if LDraw stopped updating, it would affect you just as much...
that image is always amusing to see. the bricks are a-flying!!
A much under appreciated library! It powers a lot of great software. Thanks to all of the contributors.
