Jaws

©2024 LEGO Group

The 58th LEGO Ideas set, 21350 Jaws, is launched today at LEGO.com, priced at £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99. LEGO Insiders can buy it now, others have to wait until the 6th.

Read our review, in which CapnRex concludes that it 'sails perilously close to perfection', then place your order at LEGO.com.

The current gift with purchase is 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad, but you'll have to spend a little more to pass the spend threshold of £180 / $200 / €200 to acquire it, unfortunately.

By in United Kingdom,

Just ordered mine. Looking forward to seeing it 'in the flesh'

It's not though... not in North America (I'm an "Insider"). Lame.

By in United Kingdom,

AFAIK it's early access for INSIDERS until 6/8 (8/6 for the colonies) so won't show on a regular site visit

By in United States,

Yeah, even after logging out/in again, just showing 8/6

By in Canada,

Nope. I'm logged in and still nothing until August 6th.

Sam Quint very well done, the other two, not so much IMO (probably difficult considering the medium). Still a very nice model overall. I also like the poster but, in this case, I would probably prefer it in paper/physical as opposed to digital.

By in United Kingdom,

Looking forward to getting this but I don't want another 'Micro Rocket Launchpad' so it can wait until a different GWP appears.

I do like GWPs but it's ironic how often their existence delays my purchases rather than encourages them!

By in Australia,

This set is $250 AUD.

I think the shark is well done and the boat is excellent and nicely detailed.

But there is no way I can see $250 worth of Lego here.

Another set to add to the list of Lego sets that are great as far as the actual Lego is concerned, but ruined by greed. :(

Ironically Motorised Lighthouse (another one of these awesome sets ruined by greed) would look great next to this set.

By in United States,

I thought they must have fixed the issue in North Americas since I received this message and an official one from the Lego Group, but no, still not working. Very disappointing since I am not able to do a midnight release online for the 6th.

I'm in sort of the same boat. I'm not planning to get the set (I haven't seen the movie, but the set looks nice), but I, too, already have 40712, so if I were, I'd wait for a GWP I liked or Double Insider points, or both.

By in Switzerland,

I have a little problem to understand the price in Switzerland.
This set costs 169,00 CHF, but the threshold for the GWP is by 190 CHF or over.
LEGO doesn't take into account the current exchange rate for the price, but only for the GWP.

The most overrated set of the year. Doesn’t even look all that impressive. Especially the shark.

Opinions are like anuses. Everyone has them, and most of them stink.

Went and visited a (new to me) LEGO Store in Greenville, SC and brought home my favorite carcharodon carcharias along with a damaged box medieval market for him to terrorize. And they managed to find a space baby GWP hidden in the back. Not a bad day. :o)

Edit: Didn’t see any of the new message boards but hope the future belongs to more than Dur.

It’s being sold already in the US? I didn’t check myself, but reports were all that the US didn’t have it live like the EU.

They had one in the window and stock on the shelves. Based on the release of this article, it never occurred to me that there was some street date issue.
