2025 Speed Champions, City and more F1 sets revealed!
Posted by CapnRex101,
It was announced in September that many more Formula 1-based sets would be introduced in 2025 and examples from several themes have today been unveiled! The press release follows:
New Formula 1 & LEGO products revealed ahead of upcoming 2025 season
- The LEGO Group and Formula 1 unveil brand-new line up of LEGO sets launching in 2025, following their announcement earlier this year of a multi-year strategic partnership
- The Formula 1 and LEGO products launching early 2025 featuring all F1 teams include LEGO DUPLO, LEGO City, LEGO Speed Champions and LEGO Collectables, offering something for all F1 & LEGO fans to enjoy
- The coming F1 season in 2025 will also see new ‘Build the Thrill’ activities on and off track, bringing F1 & LEGO fans into the action like never before
Today, the LEGO Group and Formula 1 unveil their brand-new range of LEGO sets at the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2024 race. All sets are launching in early 2025, just in time to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Formula 1.
The product reveal is the first step in the new multi-year partnership between the two brands, which will connect more fans of LEGO building with the world of Formula 1, bringing together two passionate global fanbases.
As part of the product lineup, for the first time ever, all ten F1 teams will be featured across the product portfolio, including sets from LEGO Speed Champions, LEGO City, LEGO DUPLO and LEGO Collectables.
The detailed sets from LEGO Speed Champions offer an engaging building experience connecting fans to their favourite teams. And if that wasn’t enough, fans will be able to get their hands on all 10 teams in miniature form with the LEGO Collectable sets, as well as the F1 and F1 ACADEMY branded show cars.
Younger fans and parents can also share their passion for racing with the new LEGO DUPLO Town F1 Team Race Cars & Drivers. The set features all the essentials for a Grand Prix weekend, with a starting grid, a podium, two cars and two drivers, with fans able to customise their build to represent any of the 10 F1 teams liveries. The set will also include additional pieces to build unique modifications and assemble the ultimate F1 race car ready to fight for wins on track.
For fans that love race action, the LEGO City F1 range, comprising of six different sets, is guaranteed to excite. With the ability to recreate race weekend scenarios from vehicle transport and repairs in the team garage to the race start and even super speedy pit stops; fans will be able to immerse themselves into the world of F1 like never before with LEGO brick builds packed with intricate details, allowing fans to use their imagination to bring F1 race weekends into their living room.
Daniel Meehan, Creative Lead at the LEGO Group, said: “We’re delighted to finally reveal this incredible line-up of products coming in 2025. We hope these products will provide hours of creativity and play for F1 and LEGO fans alike, allowing them to recreate their favourite racing moments, as well as create some new ones.”
Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group, said: "We are thrilled to partner with Formula 1, an iconic brand that shares our commitment to innovation, creativity, and inspiring future generations. Together, we’re creating products that ignite curiosity and foster a love of engineering and speed in builders of all ages. This collection uniquely combines the excitement of Formula 1 with the endless possibilities of LEGO play, capturing all 10 teams on the F1 grid for the first time. Our goal is to bring families together to build, explore, and share their passion for the sport, offering something truly special for everyone."
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, said: “Formula 1 and the LEGO Group are proud to unveil the first product range of our partnership. This fantastic range caters to our entire fan base, with each set celebrating a crucial element and the intricate details of the world of Formula 1, from the pitstops and team garages to the car itself. We share our fans excitement to see this special partnership come to life and I cannot wait for fans to start building.”
Beyond products, 2025 will offer fans a host of content and experiences, on digital platforms and at races through interactive fan zones during Grand Prix weekends, bringing a whole season of ‘Build the Thrill’ activities to F1 & LEGO fans, with more information to come.
All products in the LEGO Group and Formula 1 collection will be launching early 2025, with LEGO DUPLO and LEGO City sets available starting 1st January, LEGO Speed Champions as of 1st March 2025 with pre-order starting today in select regions, and LEGO Collectables will be available from 1st May. All products will be available from www.LEGO.com/F1 and in LEGO Stores worldwide.

Shouldn't the Speedchampion sets all be cheaper since they designed 1 car and are basically just recoloring it 10 times?
I honestly prefer the F1 City sets over the Speed Champions this time around. There's an extreme lack of Minifigures in Speed Champions sets so far.
This "the (nearly) same car design but in different colours" gives me Bionicle vibes
Well, I know what I'm not spending my hard-earned money on! (who asked for Xalax 2.0!?!)
...and I never want to read they can't do My Own Train sets ever again because it uses up too many SKU slots... this F1 series of city sets proves they just hate train fans.
Expensive year with all those Speed Champions sets! Some new moulds though - the curved rear wing, new helmet and different width rear tyres too! They look like nice builds, and quite different in places, which is nice.
What's up with the wildly inconsistent "18+" labelling?
Looking at the speed champions in detail I'm impressed at how much variety there is in the shaping. I was expecting then to be recolours of the same build but there looks to be a real effort to capture the small differences between the teams
I have the Mercedes Petronas from the 2 pack, and I'd like to get one more to pair with it (I'm not a purist), but I want to see what will look the best with a minimum of stickering. Might have to go with the existing McLaren or the Red Bull Visa one. At least the RBV has cool colors and should be OK without every sticker.

At least the repeat Bionicle sets had a mold for a weapon/mask that was initially only in that set. These... don't.

In some countries, Lego can’t sell set with Red Bull branding to children.
Anyone understand why Set 76919 exists and then next year we will have 77251. I guess you get more pieces for the same price, but..... 8)
The Speed Champions look pretty good! I see a lot of cool new pieces to better capture the look of modern F1 cars. I'll probably get the Ferrari and Williams for myself, and the Red Bull and McLaren for my siblings.
I'm a little let down by the City sets. They're not bad for what they are, but I expected them to be a bit more detailed. I'm surprised at how plain the F1 truck is on the inside compared to the Speed Champions Ferrari truck from 2015.
The little blind box cars are hilarious and cute, but as always I'd prefer that they weren't packaged that way.

They are different cars. One is the 2023 car, and the other is the 2024 car
Oh man when I was a kid I used to build little mini F1 cars just like these minifigs with a jumper plate on the frame of the car and then a head with a helmet. Brings me back 35 years!

Trains don't get multi-million licensing agreements that allow companies to "subtly" advertise their brands.
Phew! Thank goodness I have no interest in F1 whatsoever. Black truck looks cool though. Shame about the printed panels on the trailer. Should of been stickers.

All the cars are different. The sidepods, engine intakes, and s ducts are different for all of the cars.
Licensed sets with yellow figs. Bizarre.
Speed Champions look fantastic... And will lose their stickers again after a few months/years. And, no figs? Ugh.
I love the idea of mini collectible cars though!
Not an F1 fan but I would like the speed champions Red Bull F1!
I'm impressed by the novelty of the city set that has a built in handle. I don't know what to think about collectible micro F1's. They are really odd and hilarious.
At first I was curious about why there aren't any Collectible Figures for the Drivers, but then I saw that a bunch have contracts ending in 2024, and I doubt a team would want a fired driver in their Lego promotion for 2025

Agreed...LEGO does appear to have put some effort into representing each team's car best they could.
As someone who knows nothing about F1, is this pretty much the same car (or incredibly similar) in 10 different color schemes?
This might be a bit of an expensive launch season as I want the full grid (2 of each team) for my display set up... dang it LEGO
i'm a F1 fan, but i'm not spending more than 200€ to build the same thing 10 times

Oh lol, that's kind of hilarious then. Thx for the explanation!
Those new helmets look interesting. I might be willing to pick up a few of those blind boxes to see if they fit into some sort of space theme.
Random notes
- The unveil hyperlink near the top of the article doesn't actually go anywhere, unlike these fast cars (cue groans & rimshot) (Edit: already fixed, how speedy!)
- The Speed Champions box art does not do a very good job of showing that you do indeed get a full driver figure, which is...interesting since the collectable series might have customers in store thinking the same about Speed Champions -- that you just get a helmet. The back of the box does show the unique helmet and wheel, but I had to look a couple times to try and spy any faces at all on the main art because of the halos (that's the term, right?), and some of these other comments about the lack of figures shows it isn't just my eyes
Probably a hot take, but I don't care for Speed Champions at all. Especially now that they're just hitting ctrl-V on the exact same car design TEN TIMES! Even Duplo and City got infected by the F1 virus!
But of course, Speed Champions fans are still going to defend it because it's
*sparkle effect* 8-wide!!! *close sparkle effect*

I'd say your take has gotten pretty cold given how often you bring it out lol.
If you're not into F1, I can definitely see why a full set of all the cars would look boring and same-y.
As someone who's into F1, I'm impressed by the lengths they've gone to make each car unique by changing details between each one.
These look surprisingly good, but I'm disappointed there isn't even one City F1 car with classic Octan colors. Maybe in 2026?
"F1 cars all look the same"
Nope, Lego F1 cars all look the same!
Wow, a very impressive lineup! Reminds me when they had space involved across different themes.
Maybe I'm biased since I enjoy City, but those City versions look interesting!

It's also because Max Verstappen refuses to stop swearing. Even when he's Lego.
Definetively, I will get bankrupt on 2025!!
Firstly, I though buying the 10 Speed Champion cars..but perhaps two of each...
and then I saw the Collectible Minicars...two of them too!!
Without money and divorced!!
And I see a lot of differences between the 10 Speed Champions cars...more different than real F1 cars!!
I'll get the Ferrari, because i'm a fan of the brand, and maybe the Red bull, because one of their drivers is from New Zealand.
Jeez, that's a lot to take-in in one go!

It appears to be on the 2 in particular that feature promo from Red Bull and Visa, red bull I can kinda understand but I don't get the other one
Unless you're a die hard F1 fan like @CapnRex101 , you would only need to get a couple of these Speed Champions, because the build experience is the exact same.
And I love the through back to the Racers theme with the minifig series.
Man they are going full f1 commitment with huge segment of their budgets. I know nothing about f1 but like good looking cars. I might pick something out of these. I have 4 months to decide what to do
I mean... cool (the cars do look quite nice), but I worry that the entire Speed Champions line is exclusively F1 this year...

I honestly can't tell whether your answer is a bitingly sarcastic retort or an earnestly helpful explanation from the world of sportswheels.
It's okay. If Lego ever decided to make a 10-pack of locomotives in different liveries (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA), I could write a similar earnestly helpful response that another reader could find equally ambiguous. Alas, Lego hates trains, so I will never get the opportunity…
I have no interest in F1. I’m genuinely happy for FOLs who enjoy the theme. It’s just not my cup of tea.
Excited for these!
I’d want to create the entire grid but not sure if I would do it with the speed champions cars. Time will tell, but I do think they look good
The city cars are somewhat of a let down, I was hoping the crews would match the cars but upon second thoughts I get why they did this compromise. Don’t think I will collect all of them but the Ferrari set and the garage speaks to me. Maybe the truck too
The technic cars are outrageously overpriced. I do like the Ferrari a lot. But I would not buy it without at least 30% off
And now… surprisingly I might like the collectible cars the most. They’re silly, cute and cheap. And honestly, it would be fun and cheap to get the whole grid with these, and it would also be much cheaper and space efficient to build your own tracks and settings around these small cars. I don’t mind that there’s no minifigure, not every set needs one. This is perfect. And for the piece count with all prints, I think it’s a very good deal despite not having a figure. Might be the first time I actually buy an entire box
I think they would make for an amazing quick impulse gift too
May pick up the Ferrari or Mercedes to go with my 76919, don't really feel like getting a full grid though.
Also, (unless getting a full grid) who is buying a Hass, or Sauber?
Did they just come up with two made up teams to make there be 12 collectable mini cars?
What was wrong with just having the 10?
"Little F1 cars, on the hillside, little F1 cars made of bricky bracky, little F1 cars, on the hillside, little F1 cars all the same.
There's a red one and a blue one and a green one and a yellow one, and theyre all made of bricky bracky and they all look the same."
I will never understand the logic of ignoring the possibility of a 'Racing' theme (which can be defined any number of ways) and instead focusing purely on F1 for all themes.
2024 was space theamed... will 2025 be racing theamed?
The Speed Champions sets look lovely, but the blindpacked line (can't really call them CMFs) is an incredibly easy pass.
@LegoMaster2006 said:

Yes it will! Specifically F1 themed. I hope Lego cintinues to do a main topic over multiple themes in the coming years, such as this year space, next year F1 etc...

They were trying to be genuinely helpful. The real cars and the lego car builds are different between the two years. Just because the liveries look very similar, the actual car shapes are different.
Hey! I’m that set 60442 , that has my sig fig’s face, or aka, Jangs sig fig face!
Kind of insane to be making a Kick car given the amount of controversy and type of content promoted on that platform
@LegoMaster2006 said:
"2024 was space theamed... will 2025 be racing theamed?"
No. It is F1 themed. Which as I said in my previous comment makes no sense. F1 is very niche, racing could apply to all themes better since it can be various different types of car race, a boat race, air race, even a sci fi space racing situation.
I hope 2026 is Castle or Pirates but I would be equally annoyed if they made it too specific like 2025, for instance 'Forestman' instead of Castle more broadly.
hilarious meme IMO to make pit stop / team garage sets which the actual licensed cars can't fit into :skull:
let me guess - the licensed detailed cars don't even have the real drivers as minifigures?
idc I love this man. It's like collecting bionicles but less unique
I'm going to save so much money on Speed Champions...

I assume Lego doesn't want to promote Red Bull and RB (its sister team), but its suprising Kick Sauber hasn't also got the 18+ label as they'd be promoting gambling??
So relieved the CMF-size cars are coming out now and not replacing the May-August CMF line. I was so worried.
Welcome back Xalax
The four horsemen of Lego press releases:
1. 'Who asked for this?' guy

3. 'I'll grudgingly use it for parts in [classic theme] MOCs' guy
4. 'Meta commentary on the comments section' guy

The two additional ones are representing the F1 and F1 academy show car, just as stated in this post…
Everybody else has already stated my opinion. I wish the F1 would have just been a few Speed Champions sets because the city ones look better.
Also not a huge fan of F1 cars in genera

Honestly this right here. TLG has gotten away with a lot in the past - in 2017 making an escort into a minifig [and having her briefly in a Lego movie], seemed to go under most people's radar, but Kick will definitely not. I am sure this was an "all in" move by F1 to make sure Lego made every team, but this could, if enough bad PR happens, result in the entire line being pulled before March if they can't just remove that car from the lineup/the shelves. This will be interesting to see how this plays out, given the values of TLG and how they clash with having Kick branded on a 10+ age range of kids' toys.
I’m guessing the smaller cars will be very popular based on the price point. Those look fun.
2 points I have
1: I hope the F1 cars aren't the only 2025 speed champions cars, I do want some proper cars as well
2: MINI CAR COLLECTABLE BLIND BOXES AH I WANT THEM. They remind me of the old mini pull back racers
Getting any representation of KICK in a Lego set is almost as shocking as NEOM.
Why can't the collectable mini cars use the branded helmets from speed champions? Would have made them so much cooler.
Also, Lego needs to sponsor an Octan F1 team now. Make the livery looks like it's bricks.
What a partnership. Even City is going Licensed.
I love F1 so the SC cars are definitely tempting. The CMF is kinda fun too.
I wonder if the Haas parts come in Ferrari labelled bags - just like the real thing ;-)
Seriously though, this is really good, and the "CMFs" are bonkers! I am probably a bit niche though as I design some of the real cars. Really chuffed. Loving the FW14. I might have to see if I can fit the rear tyres on Sennas car. Nige was a great influence growing up but Senna was super special. Never been anyone quite as amazing.
Some nice looking sets. I find it weird that none of the Speed Champions sets show the minifig outside the car. It really looks like there's a minifig in there, but I wonder is there something else going on?
Also these are obviously based off the 2024 cars. It seems likely that at least one of the teams is undergoing a name change an a couple may have main sponsor changes, so their 2025 cars may look quite different.
LEGO has Formula fever
Does this mean we can get a NASCAR Mustang & a better color designed NASCAR Camaro for Speed Champions 2026 ?

Poor Harriet. Derided AND forgotten. Maybe the fact that she’s fictional makes it ok?
Wow, they actually did the full grid of SpeedChampions! Kudos to them. And I see surprisingly much variation in the details of those cars. They are similar, just like the real ones, but each have unique sections that all look as complex as always.
It will be interesting to see how these sell, surely there will end up being discount deals on the less popular teams after a while.
I will certainly pick up a few, but unlikely all unless there's an unreasonably good deal at hand. SpeedChampions is no longer a good value at the current prices, multiplied by ten sets it's ridiculous.
None of the City or Speed Champions sets are speaking to me, but I'll definitely pick up at least a couple of those Collectable Race Cars, as they remind me of stuff like 4582, 4593 and the like.

So you'd be number four.
and there goes my streak of collecting every Speed Champions new era car...
I love the car blindpacks. They're hilarious and adorable and I'm buying a set of six at the earliest opportunity.
Ok but Lego is crazy if it thinks the small cars will sell more than Animall Crossing CMFs would sell.
The collectables would make great minifig scale go karts. I prefer the City F1 cars over the Speed Champions F1 cars as they will fit in my city better.
Using IP in City with the associated price bump just seems like another crass money grab by LEGO. Always thought City was the entry level theme and priced for that
And Speed Champs get another year on year price increase - 10% for the UK - angry/annoyed at that!
There's going to be an Amazon exclusive 10-pack with the Speed Champions (includes a poster).
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJDDY334?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2D5OjPmvl306ks1DfodAUDfpy_d0wuItwi3yq9cx2DPhthn6qZmHSFJyo_aem_mhGEE8rFNRO7dyJX8rZrhA&tag=bptag=20
So Tiny Turbos are back? Okay.
I’ve seen the “same build, different colors” comment a few time. If you look closely you’ll see variation in the vehicles that show the designers have done their homework. Sure, the overall vehicle layout is the same but that’s to be expected for F1.
Gotta say, not a fan of licensed cars in City. City should be an imagined world, and the brand names just feel wierd.
I'm happy because the Mercedes is clearly based on George Russell's car! I'll probably get that, the Williams, and some of the blind boxes.
Holy oversaturation Batman!
Even as an F1 lover this decision to oversaturate lego sets with F1s is baffling. Like come on, 10 speed champions F1s? 10!?!? 2 of them are the exact same color schemes of existing ones and all the others are near identical. Very few differences and for the cost of $28 I will be shocked if these don’t get marked down quickly.
2025 just got a lot cheaper for me with 2 more entire themes out of consideration.
Good luck for the F1 fans out there!
About the truck, we had 2x Ferrari trucks as Speed Champions sets, we need new one! And it should be like car transporter for Speed Champions sets, cars, 10-wode trailer.
OK, so there's 10 teams.
What are the additional two cars in the "Collectible" range, as apparently there's 12 variants?

Certainly hope Amazon UK will also carry that, and that it will be a decent reduction on the individual price (in a few months if not immediately).
KICK!??!?!?!?! ON A LEGO SET!?!?!?!??!?!?! AIMED AT PEOPLE 10!?!?!?!??!?!!??!?! DID THEY EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
For me, it is too much. I don't mind F1 dominating SC so much, but I'm really not a fan of it in City and Duplo.
It was 10 years ago LEGO ended their partnership with Shell supposedly over environmental reasons. I wonder how much money it would cost them to get their branding on boxes of core Lego themes.

I'm a bit offended at this, because Xalax had some actual play value. This is just a really bad collectible scheme.
Gotta say, disappointed. I saw the article title and was excited to see what cool new things were going to pop up in Speed Champions. Turns out it's 10 of the same thing. This is a multi-year partnership, so F1 might be able to keep other types of car out of Speed Champions for longer than a year.

The post explains that ;)
F1 and F1 Academy show cars
I stopped following F1 and I'm still excited by these sets. The City ones are so great to play and the Duplo one is excellent
I'm so glad I have no interest in racing. That all faded when my son grew out of his Cars Movie phase.
So they are re-releasing the Mclaren and the Aston Martin F1 cars which only just came out this year but they've done the Aston Martin in the wrong green again. I hoped they would get the colour right this time but at least they have wider rear tyres now.
These are going to take a lot of space on store shelves, I hope it doesn't affect the release of newer and more original Speed Champions.

"Ok but Lego is crazy if it thinks the small cars will sell more than Animall Crossing CMFs would sell."
Or another D&D. Though they're probably saving that for next year (fingers crossed).
Too bad that in City two of the teams are only in a 4+ set - so their car design is different than the rest = no complete lineup in City...
Strange that one of the mini collectible cars is also not 18+. Maybe the bull isn't visible and that's enough ;)
Well looks like I'll be saving myself some money the next year, while I don't mind having 1 F1 car mixed in with some Speed Champions sets, basically the same set over again, so I'll skip I think.
A bit OTT on F1, with 4 different formats. I can see the Ferrari SF-24 and Redbull speed champion cars selling out, but the rest having a luke-warm reception. I just hope they increase the quantities of the former to allow for this.
So there are 10 F1 teams and 12 mini cars, meaning two fictional liveries? One of them looks pink and purple, so does that mean that there's a differently coloured Friends F1 set on the horizon, a bit like how Space was in every theme in 2024, but next year it'll be F1?
The Speed Champions are better than I expected, will probably only get the Red Bull, as it looks the best to me, but the City sets are making me miss the days when the Speed Champions sets included pit lane and other builds / accessories. Love my 6-wide garages and pit-walls!
The price increase of £2 in the UK is a kicker, up almost another 10% ontop of this years rise. Hope that doesn't also apply to any 'standard' Speed Champion sets introduced in 2025 (but it will)
Really excited for Mansell's FW14 though - will have to get a set of those printed and wider wheels for my McLaren MP4/4!

Oh, I wasn't accusing anybody of being sarcastic. I was observing that if one is like me and knows virtually nothing about racecars, they all basically look the same to him, and it would be funny to lampoon the repetitiveness by using indistinguishable differences as a rationale for why we needed another set. But if you live and breathe racecars, those differences (assuming they exist; I'll have to take somebody's word for it!) would be glaringly obvious and a perfectly reasonable rationale for a new set. And both replies could use the exact same words but have very different meanings!
Being railfan-adjacent, I have this kind of differential ability with American trains (less so with foreign ones, but still there)—where others see a collection of choo-choos, I see different manufacturers, eras, technologies, etc. But alas for me, Lego is run by a guy with taste for expensive motorcars rather than trains. I guess the question now is whether the market in general is sufficiently attuned to the differences between 2023 and 2024 Formula 1 cars to make this unprecedented outpouring of sets justifiable. My hunch would be no, but maybe I grossly underestimate the worldwide public's obsession with Formula 1. To me, they still just look like fast cars.
@kkoster79 said:

There are build differences among all the cars. Not huge differences, mind you, but they are there. The varying piece counts bear this out.
Related question: do stickers get included in the piece count?
@Robot99 said:

Designers said it came down to sponsors on the cars. Though, looking at which cars got the 18+ label, I can't suss out which sponsors were deemed unsuitable for the 10+ crowd...

Yeah, this is an incredible number of products slots for one particular IP! I just hope having all these doesn't take away slots for other non-F1 products. I see why they decided to represent every team, but unless you're an F1 completist this is just a ton of extremely similar sets that can largely be avoided.

No, stickers are not counted in piece count.
I think it is embarrassing that Lego is, intentionally or not, giving advertising to these brands! Red Bull, MoneyGram, Kick, Visa, etc. so strange!
The Aston and Sauber are both atrociously miscoloured. Teal and bright neon, not… whatever this is.
Having only given emotional investment to the sport since Monaco this year, I don't feel like I'm very qualified to give opinions.
However, I do think that the city sets look like f1 academy or f4 cars with the lack of sponsors. I would also give lego my money for a CMF line with the 20 drivers (and - even though he's not a driver next year *sniff* - a valterri bottas mullet hairpiece). I would also be interested if they started doing teams/drivers/cars from other eras like a car from 2020 or thereabouts because IMHO they were dead ugly with all the faffy bits coming off them.
it's actually shocking that they're allowing a set plastered in ads for Kick to be released and marketed to 10 year olds. genuinely gross imo, I hope enough people complain about this that they pull it
Every Lego fan that doesnt care about F1 will save a big amount of money in 2025... :P
On that note, I do think this collab is weird. So many stickers and ads and stuff about companies in this day and age that are not only far away from Lego as a brand (at least it used to be?), but also quite offensive in some ways... Even if the SC line is mostly towards older fans, its still Lego.
Anyway, I'm just waiting for the new Blacktron reveal. Please be good!
=)
I feel like the criticism of "all of these look the same" is a bit absurd. They're F1 cars, which are pretty heavily regulated and optimized. Of course all the cars look the same. I highly doubt most people are going to buy more than one or two of these sets to rep their favorite teams, so having the full selection of team is a really solid call IMO, especially when they can be had for multiple price points (and building levels) across the mystery packs, City sets, and Speed Champions (of course, I do have an issue with the mystery packs, but that's a larger issue with modern consumerism more than it is an issue with Lego itself). I really think, more than anything else, that diehard Lego fans need to recognize that not every lineup of sets is for them, and not every individual set has to be collected. Maybe the recent influx of recolors are meant to appeal to different audiences, instead of getting the very small minority of collectors and enthusiasts to buy a set twice.
And anyone who's shocked by this collaboration likely hasn't paid attention to F1 as of late - it's had a HUGE boost in popularity over the past couple years, and a lot of the fans are in the same demographic (upper-middle class millennials) that TLG is appealing to with their other adult-oriented sets.
I feel these Speed Champions F1 Lego sets aren’t really future proof. I mean, they will all look cool in their current 2024/25 liveries whilst new. But will anyone care about these in say 2030? I spose you could say the same for some other themes but feel these will get old pretty quickly
I LOVE THE RED BULL ORACLE! I think recoloring the exact same car 10 times was a bit obsessive but I like the color options.

As has been pointed out multiple times, it's not the *exact* same car; there are differences between the models (how big those differences are, I have no idea) because there are differences between the real-world cars. If they were the exact same model recolored, they'd all have the same piece count.

The best solution might be getting rid of 'Minifigure' part of the theme's designation and making it 'Collectable Series'.

While I agree that would make sense on the surface, it might call into question why series like the Mario character series and maybe even vidiyo wouldn’t be included, even though they are separate things. I think the best solution right now is to just deal with it being a little off instead of reorganizing because of a single series.

The sticker sheets aren't listed in the inventories here, nor in the manuals in the physical sets, so I think it's safe to say that Lego does not consider them to be a part.

I think you're correct that they don't consider it a "part" but they definitely account for it in the piece count that's also displayed on the (US) boxes.
For example: https://brickset.com/sets/60218-1/Desert-Rally-Racer is acknowledged as having 75 parts on the box and in databases but here on Brickset it says the inventory below only contains 74 pieces for 99%. Missing is the sticker sheet. Same for https://brickset.com/sets/30342-1/Lamborghini-Hurac%c3%a1n-Super-Trofeo-EVO and I think all the others w/ stickers too.
Also to answer my own questions around sets w/ multiple sticker sheets. https://brickset.com/sets/10220-1/Volkswagen-T1-Camper-Van has two sticker sheets and it looks like the inventory is 2 down from the piece count so each sticker sheet seems to count as 1 "part".
@fmiskolc: Plenty of sets that have sticker sheets have complete inventories here, and plenty that don't have them have incomplete inventories. 30343, for instance, has a sticker sheet, and all eighty-five parts in its inventory are accounted for.
