Several days after the first images emerged online, the upcoming NINJAGO sets have now been added to LEGO.com, providing higher resolution images.

The return of my favorite Ninjago villain!
Finally we get Nokt in minifigure form! Though I would have preferred Rox instead of Drix because she is more relevant in the show as of DR season 2 part 2.
The Dragonian Storm Village looks to be excellent value, with great minifigs too!
Love the combo mech, although it would have been great to include a regular Zane minifigure as well as the buildable form.
The mech looks decent enough but not a great wave in my opinion. I never wanted to get involved in Ninjago but some of the more outlandish vehicle/model designs have drawn me in.
Disappointing temples this time
Great looking villains
Ninja Voltron!
Not the best Ninjago wave, nice minifigures anyway
Wyldfyre in a cheap set is nice. only new Dragons Rising main character I am missing. (71810 was great for picking up Arin and Sora cheaply, with Riyu as well)
You say ‘dragonian’, I say ‘dragonborn’!

The other three members of the Five will doubtless be coming in the summer wave.
Saw a thing on Brick Fanatics that apparently the mech IS Zane, at least according to the designers. Of course, that doesn’t really invalidate your point, as we’ve seen a number of sets-mostly dragons-that feature multiple forms of the same character.
Ninjago Battling Tops!

If only she included her armour piece that we see in 71812, 71814 and 71822.
It's so annoying when LEGO doesn't include armour pieces, in my opinion, no armour piece = incomplete minifigure!
Finally, it’s about time.
I like the Ninjango line (mostly the modular style) but in my opinion nothing has been able to surpass the top notch design and playability of 70751 Temple of Airjitzu. I think it’s time to get back to the original basics of this once great project.
Evidently Lego heard our comments of how good of value 71805 was, with 71827 having one minifigure less.
Another Ninjago Megazord, and this one features an actual dragon as one of the components. Love it.
Cheap dragons are always great. Great to see new wing piece. But IMO best thing are the new bad guys. You can mix them with Nexo demons!
Dragonian Storm Village has some crazy value compared to other sets.
7 figs, 2 mini dragons, tons of weapons, 2 cool blade pieces!
Not super thrilled about the ever-growing presence of special, new pieces for things like set dressing, e.g. the dragon arches in 71826. They're often very neat pieces, but one of the great things about LEGO is how well you can represent complex objects with surprisingly low resolution brick builds.

In the case of those, they aren't designed for set dressing—they're the same piece as the translucent "rims" of the new spinners. As such, their chunkiness and lack of connection points is actually functional—they're meant to be a big sturdy part that can be attached to the spinners, which otherwise can't have connection points that could be used to attach normal parts (which could potentially create hazards when spun at high speeds).
Not saying it’s not great set for the ££, but which bit of 71841 actually reminds any one of a village???
Disappointed for the use of dragon masks. But understandable within the theme. I was hoping we would get full dragonborn heads ala DND.
Ok...I'm wondering: What happened to Jay? I know he went 'evil', but who hasn't in the 'grand scope' of the series...
I like this wave quite a bit, contrary to few comments above. Certainly a big step up from last years January wave. Even the 4+ set looks decent
I don’t get why Lloyd would have 2 dedicated cheap sets. The car doesn’t look bad, but out of all these it’s the most boring imo. Could’ve removed it from the wave and no one would miss or ask for it
The green dragon however I like a lot. Though it should’ve been priced like Riyu
I unironically like 71830 a lot. It may be silly, but not as silly as the mech + bike combo. I think this does make sense as the jet can operate on its own with a ninja in, but on the run, a mech can be attached and dropped off in battles. The shaping is something unique we don’t see too often in Ninjago, and reminds me of an Atlantis set, 8060
They really come out with the corner roof piece in a transparent color before the red I'd like to have for a MOC... On the plus side, Morro's back!
Lloyd’s pull-back car is crying out for a pull-back dragon…ian(?) to race against. I knew that I purchased a few extra motors off of Bricklink for a reason!

That 'Rogue' person's outfit is awfully blue, and are those lightning bolts on their robe?
I might get the storm village, just for the amazing minifigures.
It just occurred to me to ask something about this "Wyldfyre" character: Is she a DJ? I have to wonder how often the pull-back motor in 71828 will see use. Also, am I the only one who gets Monkie Kid vibes from 71830?
@obsidianheart: Good eye...also looks like he has nunchaku on there too...:)

Regarding the pull-back motor, it's the existing one that's been used for pull-back Technic sets for a few years... I think this might be the first System set to use it, though.

I don't know how I didn't think about that, what with the recent review of 42199.
Any theories or inside knowledge on why Ninjago sets are a consistently great value in terms of PPP, minifigs, etc.? If it were only because it’s a TLG in-house theme and not licensed, how does that explain City being so often horrible on this point? I don’t get Ninjago sets very often but every time a wave comes out, it seems like they’ve kept pricing very consistent year to year, but always with good part counts for price, unique and highly detailed figures, new molds, recolors, etc.
PPP seems very high on many of these.

Whether it's a mech or actually Zane, I don't think what he's doing to that mech is kid-friendly.
And now you'll never un-see it.
Not collecting Ninjago but 71829 is gonna play the role of classic dragon with a few tweaks

If anything like the old Racers ones, then probably a fair bit.
I still have 8384 and used to play with it loads when I was a kid.
The figs are incredible!
The builds are not meant for me. There's nothing for me, here.... except those awesome bad guy figs.

I looked at both Zane mechs and I can't see it in the first place. Speaking of which, I hadn't noticed the swords in 71827 before, very nice way to use existing pieces to make new swords.

In the big one
Interesting that 71828 uses recoloured Mustang wheels fitted backwards.

It's probably for the better that you don't.
Ninjago delivers yet again with another amazing wave (except for the Zane mech) Also the return of Morro makes may want to continue watching Dragons Rising, since I stopped at the 5th episode of S1.

Please tell me you at least got the reference.
Pixal is back!
