By in New Zealand,

I do quite like the Dragon of chaos, but it doesn't really look like one.

And I'm really excited for Dragons Rising season 3.

Those chaos reds and purples hurt my eyes.

Can Ninjago just chill with the dragons already

But they’re still rising! The dragons will continue until the rising has concluded

Yeah, that’s not going to happen. There’s a good six more Source Dragons in need of sets, among other things.

Just be careful sending them north of the wall.

By in United Kingdom,

Lego’s dragon game is very strong at the moment, it must be said.

Gravatar
By in United States,

71836 pairs wonderfully with 71841. You’d have every main character besides Ras, Arin and Sora, who are all available via Spinners anyway. Pretty neat.

Or at least something peaceful like idk DANCE with the dragons. Oh wait...

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

71832: Durin's Bane in the LOTR Disney remake.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Pretty impressive that a two-headed dragon is able to stay focused.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

some of the worst Ninjago dragon builds ever imo...

Gravatar
By in France,

After so many years and so many sets created and released, in which came some of the best among my collection (70618) Ninjago theme keeps surprising me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ugly and overpriced. As I said in the comments to the poll the other day, Ninjago has gone overboard. I've heard Dragons Rising has returned to the more serious tone of pre-Season 11, but them going Thor-The-Dark-World-multiversal with the realms merging (ignoring all the other realms that previously existed in the process, I should note) has killed the show for me.

Sorry 71836, but 70627 is still better than you, even without the fabrics, special molds, and chest cannon....

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh, I love the build of 71832—that hunched posture is very unique, and I love the details like the ornate shackle around the neck.

Slightly less fond of 71836's build, since some of the joints in the neck give it an awkward sort of curvature... but I do like the color scheme, which feels very fresh and unlike any previous dragon in the Ninjago theme.

By in United Kingdom,

Ninjago sets do seem to...................

....drag on.

I'll get my coat!

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

I'll probably never be able to buy these sets in my country, but they look quite interesting, specially the mini figures.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Obligatory dragon purchases for @PurpleDave? But seriously, those colors are really nice.

What do you think I am, a Red Hat Lady?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm already inclined to be reminded of D&D by the mere fact of there being dragons, and for one of them to be a Dragon of Chaos? Please tell me there's a Dragon of Order, or is the Dragon of Focus supposed to be their opposite.

One head keeps the other one focused when its attention wanders.

They surround you with their focus, from both sides, as they ponder which dipping sauce to use.

Gravatar

That Thunderfang Dragon is just screaming 44021 vibes.

Missing Nokt as well, although you can hit 3/4 of that list if you get the Thunderfang. And if you own the source dragon from last year, this is a complete wave of figures!

That dragon of chaos is fantastic.

Like that bumper sticker. "Don not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup."

Both are amazing. Especially love the vibes that Arc Dragon of Chaos is giving me. Some pretty chaotic vibes
Either way, I really need to watch Dragons Rising now.

Unfortunately neither of these dragons have not appeared in the show yet, you will have to wait for season 3.

The Arc Dragon of Focus reminds me of 71793 Heatwave. Is it just me?

True, waiting for another district instead.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I haven't watched anything past season 11, but Ninjago seems to be getting a little out of hand, no?
What happened to classic stuff? I know some people who have been through Ninjago all the way and are horrified by what the new seasons are bringing.

Gravatar
By in France,

that's some really garish dragons, they made better ones I think

Gravatar
By in United States,

@SEG2008 what exactly do you mean by “classic stuff”?

Very good question considering Dragons have been part of the theme from the very start.

Ninjago dragons getting really ugly really fast.

Ignoring ALL the other realms? They brought back Cloud Kingdom which has played no small part in the first two seasons of Dragons Rising, and they've also had passing mentions of other realms such as the Departed Realm, which, with Morro returning, I'm sure we'll see more of.

Dragons Rising is still developing, and just like I'm sure we'll see more of Jay/Rogue, I'm also sure that we'll see more realms be fleshed out, old and new alike

Not to mention that they've referenced/featured things from the Never-Realm, Realm of Madness, Underworld, the Wyldness (where Chima was apparently set), and even Djinjago. Plus they've revealed an additional realm or two, getting us closer to actually knowing what all 16 were at some point. Really, they've just made things easier on themselves by not having to work up a convoluted reason for the Ninja to have to go to another realm, and to add new locations to what was the fairly simple landscape of Ninjago itself.

The dragon making will not stop! We still need source dragon of plot armor!

By in United States,

I didn't mean the dragons specifically. I meant in general. Based on the sets I'm seeing, the ninjas are getting wings! I don't know what's going on.
cerradobricks, I do agree with you. Ninjago dragons are getting ugly. How can you compare these to 70627 or 70653?

So you're forgetting about insane new dragons like 71822 or 71786? Not to mention we don't know what summer 2025 will bring... I mean, I don't like these two sets that much either, but saying Ninjago dragons are getting ugly makes it sound like they all suddenly suck, but maybe I'm just interpreting it the wrong way.

Yes, 71822 is insane. I happen not to like 71786, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
