Shipping threshold has been changed for Australia, to 200+ and get free shipping. Mini still not available on Aus LEGO.com.

Working now in the U.S.! Says it's a pre-order and will ship by August 1st.

Placed my order. They're including the free Shredder and a free mini-Mini.

Tried both UK and US stores and still not showing available from the links provided.

I was able to make it work on the US Store after reloading several times.

Also not working for me in the German Store yet...tried to reload and via various ways. It shows up but but the order button is not active yet (yes, logged into VIP account).

Any time soon folks. Camping in the meantime.

Yep, like tkatt, added to my cart in the US and got shredder and mini-MINI added as promos. Was going to wait to order until the mini promo kicked in, guess I don't have to as it is here now!

Searching for mini cooper in NL leads to vip-early-acces10242, but then page not found... Hope they're working on it...

@Huw, logged in as a VIP it had a pre-order button for dispatch on the 1st August... Disappeared now. Probably best to wait until the LEGO.com team get in and have had a coffee :-)

Must be a fault, as within the last hour, page has deviated between saying 10242 'page not found' with an early access website address, and displaying the set as default (non-VIP) as available 1st August.

And what about spanish VIP users, are we included in the promotion?

i'm after this and the volvo remote controlled loader. Both say available from 1st august. Will they both be available to me today or will i still have to wait?

Ok, it was quite difficult to get one on the german site. I think they have a typo in the URL. The correct link is (after you logged in as VIP): {link removed, the one in the article works OK}

BTW, is the "mini" Mini Cooper offer (40109) also available after July, 31st?

Ordered completed in the US. As expected, my order included the TMNT Flashback Shredder, but in a welcome surprise it also included the 40109 "Mini" Mini Cooper.

Hadn't been convinced about the Mini ... Until seeing it in the store in Milton Keynes store today ... Trouble is I'm tempted with that and the camper van ... Sorry bank balance, I'll make it up to you.

They did have them on the shelves also for VIPs to buy today and I presume with the mini Mini offer as well.

I got my on the way home from work at the manchester store. They have it sat on the shelf anyone can pick one up if you are not a VIP member you can join as you pay. There is nothing exclusive about being a VIP these days. Lego are out to make money at an alarming rate these days. I still haven't forgiven them for Mr Gold can you tell ?

I was surprised that everything worked correctly ordering today for me, last 2x the VIP points were disabled.. I placed my order and am getting the mini mini and shredder and free shipping. I used some of my precious points on it to get the price below $100. Tax here is 9% in my part of Calif.
It didn't say delayed shipping till 1 Aug., so I wonder if that is still true...

Ordered at 8.30 BST and not long had e.mail confirming my order had shipped - chose the free delivery option so might receive monday. :-)

Picked one up today at the Lego store in MN. Free shredder and Mini Mini as well.

@Joeyknish considered going down there to the MOA too, but decided just to get it online instead. Now I'm kicking myself knowing they have it; I could have been building it this weekend! Btw, did they have the new Star Wars set in there already?

@deus. I did not see any new Star Wars, my eyes fixed right on the Mini, they also moved everything around recently in the store

I just bought the Mini Cooper from the LEGO store in Arundel Mills MD. Unfortunately, they did not have any polybags of the Mini Cooper yet... they said those will not be available until next month. However, they did have every new Star Wars set! I had to pick up the snow speeder!

I had to spend more than I wanted to get the free shipping. The minimum spend for free shipping in Australia has increased from $150 too $200. Otherwise it's a $35 shipping fee!

No chance to buy from Singapore, TLG don't like Singaporean money. If can buy I would have become a VIP so many times over, given how much I've spent on Lego for the last 3 years.

They even go to the extend to ban forwarder services :( :(
