Summer Super Mario sets revealed!

Six new Super Mario sets, to be released on the 1st of August, have been revealed by JB Spielwaren.
The wave consists of several new models in the Mario Kart range (it's finally Wario time!), some expansion sets featuring the Toads, and what is perhaps most exciting, 72042 Prince Florian & Castle Bowser from 2023's Super Mario Bros. Wonder!

Awwww! Wario and Mario are on a date in that one image of them together! Mario looks so happy!
That tent is kinda sadly simple, but I'm not surprised since it's the same as in 77047.
Well here's one wave which won't tempt me, I have no interest in any Nintendo sets.
You feel Lego are trying to move away from the interactive Mousetrap style game sets into more typical Lego sets.
Is King Boo the cubiest Lego figure? He's even cubier than Mario and Luigi.
Love the toad love, definitely picking up the house party set. And that Wario looks perfect, glad they cared enough to introduce a new element for his nose and moustache, can't see how you'd capture him at that scale otherwise aside from a flat print.

"Shame Wario had to be brick-built, but props for solving for his butt-chin in that fashion, I guess."
When I first looked at the butt-chin, I though it was something else...
This is what happens when you've built 21334.
If we are doing Mario Wonder sets, I want a big sassy sunflower, those things were hilarious during my playthrough
I legitimately cannot get over how good Lego Wario looks.
Wario (EDIT: and his ride too!) looks fantastic, and getting a Mario Wonder set is really exciting, hopefully means that they'll move away from exclusively doing generic NSMB-style stuff. Incidentally, I think that the Castle Bowser set gives you the right pieces to recreate the final battle? It looks like you can detach both the hands and the smaller head on top. That battle was a complete acid trip lol
waaaaaaaaaaario! wahahaaaa!
Wario and Captain Toad! They must be mine!
Wow, they just recycled Mario's kart, but actually included the electronic figure this time.
Captain Toad!!! Also interactive Mario in a cheaper set but Captain Toad!!!
Wario looks amazing. I REALLY wish we got Buildable mario fitting the style.

Me and my bros still quote "I've lost, to a bunch of losers!" all the time
These look great! Wario looks fantastic, and King Boo is driving my favorite kart, the Teddy Buggy! The Bowser's Castle course looks good too, including the first kart with "monster" tires. The Captain Toad set seems great and affordable. I might pass on the Toad house set just because I've been collecting these sets for a while and therefore have plenty of Toads and Toad houses, but it does look super cute. And the Mario Wonder set looks downright incredible!
Why is the roundest character is the cubbiest ?
Oh wow, a Mario Bros. Wonder set.
Looks like LEGO might've gotten complaints about 72032 not including a certain plumber in it with the release of 72043 , hm?
Oh great, now we have a Wario figure (note sarcasm).
Yoshi in the Mach 8 — wise choice, LEGO.
I don't suppose it's likely we'll get Waluigi on a standard bike...

Maybe not this wave, but making Wario as a brick-built character here makes me hopeful that maybe other characters like Waluigi or Rosalina who are a bit too second-tier to be digi-figs might get a similar treatment in the future (and the Standard Bike they have for Toad in the Grand Prix set is one of the more easily recolored builds).
C'mon, make minifigure play sets for the theme already.

"Rosalina ... second-tier"
You have made a powerful enemy today.

Don't get me wrong, she's my main in Mario Kart. I meant more in terms of the frequency of their appearances in games—compared to Mario, Luigi, and Peach (who are in most Mario platformers and RPGs as well as almost every Mario sports or racing game), Rosalina is used much less frequently, especially if you limit things only to playable appearances—which is why I think she'd be low on the list for actually getting a playable digi-fig in the Lego Mario theme.
Still rooting for F.L.U.D.D. and the Odyssey in brick form. And given that this theme is still going after all these years, I think there’s a chance.

I’m hoping that between the Mario Kart and Wonder sets we’ll be getting a Daisy before too long.
I quite like the MK sets, but getting Yoshi as a racer again so soon after the first wave feels like a wasted slot given the character roster.
Then again Wave 1 had multiple Toads
Obey Wario, Destroy Mario!
