@thesub - I was lucky to pick up a calendar so early in the prior month. Usually by the time I find them, they're all over the internet and I don't feel the same urgency to scan, upload, and post myself. I cannot wait for POTC.
I wonder if this means we'll be seeing Alien Conquest in TRU before May 10th- that would be a nice surprise. I didn't see the rest of the new Atlantis sets mentioned, but I thought those would be coming out around that time too - since they're already available in the UK.

The calendar says "a chance to get" the figure (key word 'chance'), so I'd wager it'll be a drawing/raffle of some sort. Judging by what appears to be silver visor and torso printing, it looks like it's a black "shadow" version of the ARF trooper, like the blackhole trooper.
Sooooooo now instead of getting a dinky $3 keychain when you spend a bunch of money, you only have a CHANCE to get something. Oh boy! -_- I wish LEGO would get a little more exciting or worthwhile with their promotions sometimes...
I think it's funny/bizarre how they have PotC everywhere on here, but it doesn't say an actual date of when they come out! ;) Does anyone know if PotC will be able to pre-order, like HP? A guy at a Lego store in Phoenix said they were releasing PotC in Mid-April, btw.
@spency13 - POTC On Stranger Tides is to be released on 5/20/11 so the sets will most assuredly be released before then. The store calendar has The Queen Anne's Revenge set being released on 4/16/11.
Are the sets for the new movie going to come out separately from the ones for the older ones? P.S. This is sorta' of topic, but the PotC Lego site is up and they have all the minifigs on the 'calender'
Eeepa, eepa! My birthday is May 28th. This is very reassuring seeing that I won't have to wait until June to get new sets. This also means I won't have to settle for the Maersk Train when I can get the Fire Temple! Believe me, I'm spinning like mad on my rotating desk-chair! :D
Alien Conquest is coming out that early? Wow. This is exciting news for me. When I saw FBTB's pics of the AC theme at the Toy Fair, I thought to myself, best space theme ever. You guys may want PoTC, but I'll probably buy the game for 3DS and just get Alien Conquest. Besides those two themes, we also get Marina and Cars sets... yeah, this'll be a great year for LEGO.
@legoman98 This is making me want to move to Europe :( 1. Better Prices 2. Comes out sooner ... on the other hand may be a better market here since not everyone knows of the good deals, but I think I need a European distributor :D ...that would be awesome... besides shipping of course.
Is there usually another big clearance sale at the LEGO stores in May? Would this coincide with the release of the new sets mentioned on the store calender (to make room for them)?
@roar15...I'm hoping that too. A big clearance again to make room for all the new PotC and Alien Conquest. Definitely need to check in with my Lego Store this month to find out and get a jump on it! Oh, also...I know this is old news, but for me I JUST got my Lego Universe free edition with the Spring Catalogue today. Better late than never. Will give it a try but even though the first month is free, I don't know yet what they're asking for the paid subscription to get the free first month? Like one free but pay for the next 5 months?...not sure...

I think the exclusive fig is chrome or bronze ARF. Probaly chrome.
