A whole raft of sets are being launched at midnight tonight, and sets from in-house themes that were released in June outside of North America will be available in the USA and Canada as well.

There are too many to list individually in this article -- you can view them in the database -- but I'll highlight a few of the more significant releases:

  • 10358 Transformers: Soundwave
  • 10372 Hibiscus
  • 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle
  • 31168 Medieval Horse Knight Castle, pictured
  • 76304 Batman Forever Batmobile

Plus One Piece, Star Wars, Fortnite, Marvel, Sonic, Speed Champions, Super Mario, Technic, Creator and much more!

Additionally, the summer City, Friends, and Ninjago releases will be available in the USA and Canada.

The gift with purchase from tomorrow will be 40760 Adventure Peely & Cuddle Team Leader which is reported to be free with purchases exceeding $130 / €130. We'll confirm that later.

21359 Italian Riviera and the GWP that will accompany it, 5009422 Italian Market Van, will not be available until the 7th August.

By in Canada,

For the first time in years, I'm not getting any SW sets on August 1st. I'll wait for discounts. Some of them are ok, but their retail prices are insane.

I'm only getting a couple of CITY sets.

By in United States,

Does anyone else get irrationally annoyed when head hair and facial hair aren’t colour matched on minifigures?

By in United States,

One of the more exciting August 1st waves in recent memory. Will be ordering the 3in1 castle, but I’m torn about the Star Wars wave. I’ll just wait on them I suppose.

By in United States,

GUM GUM WALLET!!

By in Sweden,

Fascinating, can’t see me buying a single set.

By in United States,

Hopefully Costco gets the Hibiscus so I can eventually get it at a decent price. Probably the only thing this wave that interests me (besides Captain Toad, but that's already out everywhere but the US, I guess?).

Speaking of Costco, mine already has 31167 Haunted Mansion for $67.99, if anyone's interested in that. Not sure if they were supposed to put it out before August 1st, but they did anyways....

By in Puerto Rico,

Hmmm, time to enjoy what is my last LEGO purchase outside of Piack a Brick and maybe the Daily Bugle.

By in United Kingdom,

My personal favourite that I'm looking forward to, 40805 is not in the list.

By in Netherlands,

40760 is the perfect GWP to make me postpone my spending.

By in Sweden,

Ooh, the multicharger! /s

The only things I really want to see are reviews on the Speed Champions. The 911 in particular, I'd like to see if it can be fixed or if it's fukt. The Lambos look pretty solid though.

By in Sweden,

And TBH, I think the Dodge Hellcat is possibly the first completely unstickered SC set? It's not the most interesting car to me, but it's Hammond, so I'll get it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't convince myself to buy any of the new SW sets at full price, except the V-19. Also might get that Creator 3 in 1 castle, that thing looks pretty good and the minifigs are nice.

By in United States,

Those horses look a little llama-ish, but it's cool that they're brick-built.

By in Germany,

Why is the Italian Riviera excluded from the Fortnite GWP if it's only available from August 1st to 3rd and the Ideas set is only launching on August 7 without a pre-order option? Are they that stupid?
Of course the UCS Slave 1 get's also excluded. We can't have two simultaneous GWP's for an exclusive set, that is already 10% off on other online sites, or LEGO would go bankrupt. o.O

By in Canada,

On release days I think LEGO has come to realize they really no longer need to incentivize folks to buy on Day 1 anymore. I suspect rather strategic applications of GWP requirements will be the norm with very little stacking opportunities.

I've heard of all these calls to boycott LEGO due to their high pricing but in the end this will never happen. And now that we are starting to enter the holiday cycle sales will also be driven by FOMO what with the inevitable product shortages that seem to come especially after release as production slowly fills the pipeline...90+ new skus up that have to be filled, not including this current lineup.

The yellow knight looks like Knight Valiant from Merlin!

By in United States,

I’m excited for 75433 Jango Fett's Starship and 76784 Black Dahlia Flower from Wednesday.

Soundwave isn't available until the 4th in the US. No idea whether that applies elsewhere or whether there are any others like that (everything else I've checked has an August 1 release date).

As usual, says 1st - 3rd for Insiders (in the US too)

Boycott, maybe not. But I’m holding back on buying the Fantastic Four set and will postpone my purchase of Horse Knight Castle because their prices, £55 and £110 respectively, are too high. Eventually, they’ll be about 30% off at which point I’ll pull the trigger.

By in United States,

Im heading to the LEGO store at Disney Springs tomorrow and the line is usually around the building, so it will be interesting to see if it is as crowded as the past or will the price of SW sets keep people away.

Where are you located. I've checked my area & surrounding states but so far doesn’t appear to have reached the western mountain states. I did check NY & they seem to have it there. I am heading to my Costco today so will have them check if they are scheduled to receive it.

By in Brazil,

Where are all the database images form the new Creator castle?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Great list of sets I will pick up 6-12 months from now when discounted. No day 1, full price purchases for me any more. The Castle and Soundwave are must buys.
