LEGO Botanicals 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses official images!
Posted by CapnRex101,
Another addition to the Botanicals range has been unveiled as 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses.
This model contains 789 pieces and seems very similar to 10328 Bouquet of Roses released last year, though there are subtle differences in their construction.
The set will be launched on the 1st of October, costing £54.99, $59.99 or €59.99.

What do you think of this bouquet and do you prefer these pink roses or the red ones from last year? Let us know in the comments.

Very nice use of the whip element in the middle.
It would be nice to have a comparison to seeing what's different from the red and pink roses, aside from the colours. I have yet to get either, I will probably get both, but it would be interesting to know the differences in construction.
Gorgeous. That's 3 Botanicals that I'm trying to resist until they're a bit off at Amazon. This one might be the hardest!
Selection of Lego pots/vases long overdue. I don't want to start having to buy real ones!
My local store has been smart enough to build some red rose boxes and sell them individually. That's the only reason why I have one now. The flower is very beautiful in itself but I see little interest in owning 12 of them.

that'll probably come with a review here!

Or you could purchase a 3D printer and make awesome vases like @Huw!
That's 95% recolour, with very little change. The only difference I can see are the white centres of one of the three designs.

That suggests to me that the Botanicals line is running out of steam already, if they're doing basic recolors of existing sets. The theme has been wildly popular, and Lego has been cranking out the sets like crazy. Are they out of ideas?

Doesn't have to be. Botanicals seem like the perfect theme for recolors actually. To the point that my bigger issue would be that this once again is a rather big bouquet, wouldn't it be more fun to pick multiple smaller sets and arrange them into a bouquet to your own liking yourself? Hey Lego, make PAF a reality!

Very true, look great but not any more Lego than one from Tesco!

Seems like the opposite to me—if the theme can support recolors of sets in addition to unique sets it suggests to me that there's a strong purchasing base that can support a larger number of sets. They don't really do recolors like this for failing themes—doing so would just cannibalize sales of the existing version so that neither sold as well overall.
Is it funny that while I like the Botanicals range, I dislike all the 'bunch of flowers' sets? I'd much rather this was a rose bush in a pot then this.

Yeah, it's basically the same thing with very hard to notice differences.
One of the few Botanical sets that I will pass on.
I'm holding out for yellow roses, they're my mom's favorites.
Is this mostly a recolor? Yes. Have I now figured out Valentine's Day for my wife next year? Also yes. Lego knows botanicals is a money printer, and I'm glad they're embracing it, cause it lets me share my hobby with the woman I love in a fun way
So, where are the 30 parts the red roses have extra compared to these?

The other theme that immediately comes to mind with recolors is Creator 3-in-1, which doesn't seem to be on life support yet.

The tricky thing with roses is that the different colors are commonly associated with different messages. Red roses are for romantic love, while pink might send the wrong message.
The current rose design is spectacular. My wife and I have really fallen hard for this theme, though the bamboo is likely still my favorite.
The roses look awesome. Way better than the smaller rose set, of which I bought multiples of to make a bouquet BEFORE they released the better looking red roses set. Oh well...
As for pink vs red, pink starburst are better so I could lean toward these as well. I'd hold out for other colors. It might be a neat set to have a "rainbow" roses bouquet so we can pick and choose the colors we want (and therefore have to buy multiples or PAB extra pieces to build up the bouquet we want.)
I didn't pick up the roses since I have no one to be romantic with and I think for a display set I'd rather have the random flower bouquet for some variety. I have a few of those around the house already. So hopefully they continue with those.
These look more like the roses we had growing up the wall by our front door where I grew up, so that makes them automatically more appealing to me than the red versions which I don't recall ever seeing in the wild. Not that I expect to get these ones either, since while the botanicals do look very nice they're not for me, but it does poke at surprising flavour of nostalgic fondness for me that I didn't expect, so that's cool xD

I'm with you. I don't like the idea of sets that can't stand on their own. The flowers themselves are awesome, but without a vase they are really useless. I too very much prefer the botanical sets with pots of different kinds, I have almost all of them and none of the bouquets. But I guess that's part of the ingenuity of the line, it appeals to a lot of different people. And we can simply chose not to buy the stuff we don't want.
Bouquet of black roses next please?
A great set of roses.

An Addams in possession of roses that haven't had the petals clipped off? Her mother would be so disappointed.
I'd be down if it was a regular minifig though! Wicked's doing it. Why not Wednesday?

I mentioned this to my wife and she noted your point but said the pink ones are pretty and that's no excuse to not get her them :D

Well, if you’ve got permission, then you should be okay!
Can we get a black version for Halloween please?
