By in Canada,

I knew you maintain list for the first four categories, but somehow didn't know about the Discounted section. Glad to know about that!

By in New Zealand,

I can't wait to get the Black Pearl, it's actually slightly cheaper here, it's $600 NZD which is $350 USD.

By in United Kingdom,

You missed out Cruella DeVils car!! Xx

By in Netherlands,

I see Wall-E already for €50 at Amazon, if I didn't have so many sets I still have to build, I would be tempted to order it right away....

No interest in any of the other sets.

By in Germany,

Might get the Wall-E as soon its out on the 1st. Otherwise I refuse to buy anything Harry Potter and don't really feel much personal attachment to a shoe brand.

The price on the Wall-E is pretty good for *recent * times, especially for a Disney liscense. When I saw images without the price I genuinely thought they'd make it a 100€ RRP.

By in Germany,

The only set that appeals to me from that list would be Wall-E and Eve, but I already have the older Ideas set, and don't really need the new one.
I'm feeling LEGO oversaturation. I have so many unbuilt sets that I will need years to build all of them. No need for new ones in the foreseeable future.

By in United States,

Lol Advent Calendars already... am I wrong in thinking we usually have seen announcements for Christmas sets by the time the Advent Calendars release?

It's the most ex-pen-sive time of the year!

Either you overlooked it or it's been added to the list since you posted that.

I can confirm it wasn't on the list to the time they commented.

By in United States,

Reminder that Costco sells the advent calendars for $10 cheaper than RRP, and they have sometimes gone lower closer to December. Mine currently has the licensed calendars (Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Disney) out early (the merch people are clearly bad at following directions) for $35 USD.

I couldn't care less about them (the SW one is very uninteresting this year), but I'm waiting to see what other LEGO Costco will get for the holiday season (if any...).

By in Sweden,

Excited for Arkham Asylum, but I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be a gift with purchase for it, at least yet.

By in United Kingdom,

Very tempted by 76457 Hogsmeade Village (also like the GWPs).
Maybe 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship, but will need more GWPs than just the 5009609 compass.

I think the Sega controller GWP will be available at the same time. Might sweeten the deal.

Interesting... that might swing it!

Last year the only store I could walk in and find the HPAC was the LEGO Store. Everyone else in the area restricted it to online sales. The previous year I think Walmart was the only other chain to stock it in stores. One of the members in my club said he saw SW, City, and Friends, but not HP or Minecraft. He wasn’t sure either way about Disney.

By in United States,

My local Walmart in NY had Wall-e and Eve out early a few days ago, already built it.

By in Canada,

Does anyone knows what the spending threshold is to get the room of requirements 40770 in Canada? If not, maybe for the USA (that will give me a pretty good idea of how in CDN$). I went to the site and obviously there is no information until the promo begins, but I'd like to plan a bit ahead (1 day left) because buying direct from Lego is quite expensive.

From the main menu there's a "LEGO® Back to Hogwarts™" option with details .... it's $170 threshold.

By in United Kingdom,

All of 'em (apart from some of the advent calendars) franchised stuff.
Oh well.
I don't have to buy any of it.

I'll have to double check next time I'm there, but I'm pretty sure it was SW, HP, and Disney. Costco had the HP calendar last year as well IIRC, but not the Minecraft one. They usually get a triple-mix for the licensed calendars. (3 product facings per pallet = 3 different calendars.)

Everybody in my LUG who has a Costco membership said they never saw the HPAC there last year. I didn’t see them in any Meijer/Target/Walmart, and almost missed out before they were sold out everywhere online. Yesterday, however, I saw the full spread at Meijer, but everything was priced $35/$45.

Thinking back, last fall was a massive sleep-deprived blur and I wasn't at Costco very much, so I probably never got a good look at what advent calendars they had. So it's likely they indeed did not carry the HPAC last year. I'm probably remembering fall 2023.... Ugh, the time goes too fast....
But yeah it's $35 for the licensed calendars at Costco; the City/Friends ones should be cheaper if they get them ($25-$30, probably).
