Disney Advent Calendar - Day 17

Posted by ,

Arendelle is getting more populated - with houses, at least - with the addition of a second house to the playmat yesterday. While the house was nice, it was still a bit of a disappointment to see. Hopefully we'll stray away from buildings today!

This is not only festive, but also has a connection to the film. Today's Christmas tree and presents would fit well in any advent calendar. It's a pretty small Christmas tree, all things considered, especially compared to the size of the presents! In the film, one of the families that Olaf visits shows a decorated tree with the presents.

No matter what the connection, it's great to see a festive build from this calendar!

Tree looks a bit bare but that’s an appreciable amount of builds given how stingy some of the days have been

I guess Lego Christmas trees are just another victim of shrinkflation.

By in Netherlands,

Is there something in the aqua box, or is that just a 2x2 brick? If so, a missed opportunity to not use the gift box part.

Personally I prefer gifts and the tree to be seperate, more substantial builds, but I guess this at least gives the whole package (or well, packages and their natural habitat). Also, the microdolls make the scale make more sense. But scale isn't consistent anyway, given yesterday's 'houses', so...

Lego Star Wars is going to charge $150 for this tree when it accompanies a new color of Clone Trooper (kama not included).

And, I'm enough of a blockhead to pay for it because I think double points and a GWP (stickers for tree) is some sort of good deal. (sigh)
