Disney Advent Calendar - Day 18

Arendelle got a little bit more festive with the addition of a Christmas tree and some presents! Even if the tree was on the small side, I'm happy to see something else expressly for Christmas to build. Let's hope the festive streak continues as we start the last week of the calendar.
Today we have another house - or rather, two houses. Unlike the others, this one comes with a pearlescent gem. I'm not sure what significance this has - I don't remember this from the movie.
While I appreciate the builds, and having houses certainly help setting the scene, there really isn't a lot of play value here. I'm not sure kids would be excited to set yet another house behind the door.

This is starting to look like a Soviet-era constructivist housing bloc. Blech!
Oh, we’re back to these are we? I feel like maybe restricting themselves to one short feature, no matter how Christmassy it may be, has somewhat limited this calendar
For a moment I thought that was a horrible print. Then I realized the flame yellowish orange house is a 2x2 house instead of a 1x1 house. Of course I then noticed the house next to it. I think it says something that I thought it was something 1x1 sized somehow.
That is, it says I'm stupid today lol
I do love pearlescent pieces (is that the official colour name?). I imagine it's for something in the future, which will be good.

Oh, right, this one comes in clear and TLB. I’ve used both, so I should have caught that.
Don't uou know, that gem is the origen gem and will link all Disney worlds, or just serve as the star for a tree.
Not so much 2 houses, more like a house and an out-house.
