Disney Advent Calendar - Day 23

Posted by ,

Yesterday's cupcake and hot chocolate on the ice table was standard for an advent calendar, but still not very exciting, considering the commenters were most excited about the transparent jumper plates! I hope there's something fun in store for our second to last day.

Oh, this is much better! I was thinking that we'd exhausted different scenes from the movie, but I was clearly wrong. This is the ice tree that Elsa creates at the end of the movie after they've found Olaf.

I love that there are multiple colours of blue used for this build. I think this is the prettiest build in the calendar.

By in Australia,

It is definitely very pretty. And I'm assuming there was a spare jewel, too.

As I've said, I love it whrn licensed ACs have trees tied to the license. Granted, you can argue about whether this is technically a *Christmas* tree, or just a tree, but still...

Isn't that a multilevel snowflake?

Honestly, it had never even occurred to me that the “life fountain” from OFA was meant to be a tree, considering Elsa did similar things in the two films and Frozen Fever.

I mean, real pine trees are basically water fountains with extra stuff around them that go super slow...

I initially thought that it was a fountain, but I'm happy to interpret it as a tree, for reasons I've already discussed.

Sploosh!

That's what I see.

I like it, nevertheless.

I initially saw it as a Cinderella ice sculpture.

Between this and the tree-bot from yesterday’s Star Wars it’s nice that they can still come up with fresh takes on a very well trodden subject matter

By in Puerto Rico,

Now this is an inventive manner to make a tree.
