Minecraft Advent Calendar - Day 24

We have finally arrived at the twenty-fourth day, which is of course Christmas Eve! This Advent Calendar has been absolutely splendid on the whole, and I hope that today will be a wonderful end to this countdown. I have a good feeling!
All that's left to do now is to open the final door...
Why, it's a Santa Villager! I didn't realize that was a profession. And what's more, he's got a bucket of milk, and cookies being baked in a furnace. Maybe they're for Steve and Alex?
The Santa Villager looks fantastic, with a brilliant printed torso and smart reuse of the witch hat piece, for the first time in red. This piece has only been available in black previously.
The torso lacks back printing, but that does not matter much to me.
All in all, a suitably jolly minifigure if I ever saw one!
The accompanying items are nothing new, but as always, they are good to have.
Overall - 5.0 - For the minifigure alone, the gift today is a perfect conclusion.
Summary
21280 LEGO Minecraft Advent Calendar 2025 was an interesting idea for an Advent Calendar, eleven years into the theme's run and the first based on a video game. There was certainly tons of potential and for the most part, I think that has been met. There was plenty of variety, from unique or uncommon models, to exclusive minifigures, to basic items that could prove useful in any display. Some gifts were better than others, but nothing was bad in any way.
I especially enjoyed the more thematically appropriate gifts, like the sweet berry bush, Snow Golem, baby polar bear, and perhaps most important of all, the red and green sheep!
I believe this is even a good starter set for Minecraft fans who aren't already LEGO fans, which I think says a lot about its quality.
This Advent Calendar also has the most pieces out of all six 2025 offerings, and you could feel it. There were very substantial gifts most days, and even the days with minifigures usually had something to accompany them, even if small. The number of characters is fantastic: we got seven minifigures, five brick-built mobs, and four micro mobs, for a grand total of sixteen different characters from all different corners of the Minecraft Overworld.
The photo below illustrates the generous amount of items we received. I can't complain!
There were also some bits of terrain, which can combine to form an interesting scene.
The five Micro World elements look great combined. I hope we get more next year!

Finally, I am going to list all of my scores for each individual day and then average them out to give a final score:

That's a total of 99 out of 120 points, which averages out to an 82 of 100 score. Sounds about right to me; overall, it was great! I look forward to seeing what we get in 2026. I am sure we will get a LEGO Minecraft Advent Calendar again next year, if sales are anything to go by.

I think day 9 was the best ...maybe along with today.

It's ~62.7% from me – spoiler from my overall results :)
The only day in this calendar that I would describe as "bad" was Day Two, and even that had a sort of play feature. As for which day was the best, almost certainly today's, which (along with the sheep) was the main reason I bought this calendar.
Although I know next to nothing about Minecraft, this looks like the best AC of the year. Hope they can keep it up into the future.
Ah. So that really was a cake in yesterday's AC, and this is the man who had to whip the cream. He whipped it. Whipped it good.

I do think it’s funny that the Christmas tree looks small when it just appeared on its own but when put in the microwave-scale world is absolutely enormous
I had three Advent calendars this year: City, Star Wars, and Minecraft. Minecraft was by far the best, both in terms of the number of pieces and the builds offered.
I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Moreover, according to Bricklink, there were nine new minifigs or animals in this calendar.
Compare that to the other calendars... :-)

I'm not familiar with Minecraft so all I'm seeing is a Squidward Santa.
This was a great calendar and good replacement for the Marvel one.
I loved this calendar and I want to see next year's!
