Harry Potter Advent Calendar - Day 3

I found yesterday's brick-built owl disappointing, though its blocky style has a certain charm. I am expecting a similar model on day three.

Owls are vital messengers in the world of Harry Potter and it seems yesterday's owl has delivered a letter today. This model is fairly generic, but I think it looks reasonable and the printed 2x2 round tile is a welcome detail, recreating the traditional wax seal sometimes stamped on correspondence from Hogwarts.
Overall - This envelope is simple, but looks good and benefits greatly from the printed wax seal.

Print is nice. I just wish the advent calendars focused on things that accentuate minifig functionality.
Hnmm. It'd be nice if Brickwig could clip onto the envelope. You could still do it if you put a 1x2 plate under her, but the claws prevent a straight attachment otherwise.
Minecraft failed to publish.
The wax seal looks good, but the placement makes it look like it's purely decorative, because it's entirely on the top flap and not connected to the bottom half of the envelope at all.
I like this one. Subtle, but nice print. Hedwig can easily stand on it, too. Guess Minecraft took the day off, too scared to reveal something even worse than yesterday.

No, todays was decent, even if it was something common in Minecraft sets.

Tbf I would have loved that wax seal as a 1x1 tile.

Actually, it's a Hogwarts acceptance letter, and it's REALLY late.

But, as @PurpleDave pointed out, a wax seal is supposed to overlap something. You can't really do that with a 1x1 tile.
