Star Wars Advent Calendar - Day 15

Unless we are expecting Threepio to control the vehicle assembled over the past couple of days, a proper driver will be necessary. We are due for one today.
I think I can guess who that driver might be...
The driver of a Sandcrawler-inspired vehicle could only be a Jawa and this is a superb example, dressed in a green festive jumper. I love the knitted Gonk Droid flanked by BD units on the front, with BB units and an Astromech droid on the reverse. All four droids are easily recognisable and the Astromech matches the proportions of its LEGO equivalent, which is a nice touch.
The short legs, hood and head decorated with a pair of yellow eyes are all standard elements for Jawas. These look alright with the jumper, although I wonder whether this minifigure could have worn a Santa outfit instead, using the hood piece with white fur around the edge, like Darth Maul from 2012's 9509 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.
There is a slot for the Jawa to drive their vehicle, even with the short legs. Perhaps there should have been a printed console in front of the minifigure, but at least they can use the grey handles attached on either side.
Overall - I like this festive Jawa, but part of me thinks a Santa Claus outfit would have been more appropriate for this hooded character.

This was one of the items I was most looking forward to opening in this calendar. Jawas have always been a favorite Star Wars species of mine, and when I learned that we were getting a Christmas Sweater Jawa this year, I was really excited!
The print for the sweater on this little guy looks great. The combo of Gonk, BD, R2, and BB units seems perfect to me and covers quite a few areas of the franchise. I’m also really glad that the classic hood mold is still in production, as I still prefer it to the mold introduced in 2019.
Definitely a calendar highlight for me. I have every Star Wars Ugly Sweater minifig, and this guy’s gonna look great alongside the others on my 40658 display!

Day 15:
0 points (+ 45 from yesterday = 45): HP - Limited play & display value. To be rebuilt into a glass barrel of orange "stuff".
1 (+ 23 = 24): Dy - Terrible microdoll as usual, only the acessories bump it up a rank.
2 (+ 25 = 27: MC - At least recognizable.
3 (+40 = 43): Ct - It's alien vs. alien today, hooray! The lesser rank because it's a stock mini found in other sets.
4 (+45 = 49): SW - I haven't yet decided if the shopcrawler pilot is a clerk of Babu's or an "independent suplier". Whatever, his or her sweater shall bring customers into spending mood :D
5 (+32 = 37): Fr - Slytherin Autumn is a superb minidoll like the others and also brings added value in form of a sleeping bag along!

A festive hood might have been fun but I think there’s something iconic about the Jawas using that tatty brown hood element that would have been lost if you changed it up

Lots of 'normal character but they wear an ugly sweater' holiday figs lately btw. I wonder if they could mix it up a bit next year.
I feel like using a different hood piece would have run the risk of making it unclear that it was supposed to be a Jawa.

I'm pretty sure this is the *last* Minifigure in the calendar by strict minifigure standards.
Absolutely wild that we are 15 days in and this is only the second minifigure.

They should sell that jumper in LEGO stores!
