IT'S ALIVE, ALIVE!!!:D Serio...well, relatively seriously; after aaaaaaaaaall the belief that DreamZzz was finished, to see this stuff make me smile:). Oh, and the Fox Guardian Mech...Must get/Day One; and I'm giving a 'serious eye' to the Tiger Shark Tank, because...well: Tiger! Shark! TANK!:D

By in New Zealand,

Wait an entire wave of peak Dreamzzz sets?

These are all so amazing!

By in United States,

Black Falcon Tiger Shark Tank? That sounds absolutely awesome! Not as awesome as it sounds, but still cool. I’ll end up paying a lot for that stickered flag though…

It doesn’t really appeal to me, but the Dino Jet looks pretty cool, and something I could see selling quite well.

Do kids want to play with a Nightmare Scorpion? @Crux could probably answer that. I mean, it’s a construction-like vehicle with a stinger that can already kill you. Now it wants to run you over and flatten you? That sounds like a nightmare to me.

The alligator is a cool concept, and the color scheme is pretty appealing if you ask me. Not as sold on the eagle though.

The Fox Mech could have been a cool Nexo Knights mech, it really could have, but the greenish color scheme does not work well.

Another lineup of Dreamzzz that I care next to nothing about, and I would never have Dreamz of getting any, but I may have Nightmares… Grogu and the Scorpion?!

By in Switzerland,

Such a bonkers theme. I've heard this is the last year for it, shame, it seems like it'd be a ton of fun for kids.

By in New Zealand,

All of the alternate builds look good as well.

By in United States,

This looks absolutely stellar. When I heard the rumors that this wave would be the last one I was worried it'd feel like a bit of an afterthought (like last year's Monkie Kid sets), so needless to say it's a relief to see that the designers are still firing on all cylinders with stellar set designs and amazing figs.

The crystals with trapped fantasy animals give me Elves vibes, which is absolutely not a bad thing. Some of the sets feel like a throwback to earlier sets in the theme—Logan has crafted another crocodile vehicle (much like the one he and Cooper did in the first year), Cooper has made another high-tech dinosaur vehicle, and Mr. Sharkyjaw seems to have been crafted into a hero vehicle this time instead of one for the villains. Sometimes that sort of repetition might feel stale, but to me as a fan of this theme it really feels like bringing things full circle for a grand finale.

By in United States,

I like them all.
The bird alternate of the crocodile submarine is the best.

Gravatar
By in United States,

"We all live in a yellow submar.. err crocodile"

Gravatar
By in United States,

Those little fox-lizards don’t count as rock monsters! You can’t make me buy them!

Gravatar
By in United States,

And finally, sharks with laser beams!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The fact that the character Arika has multiple forms intrigues me.

You're after Tiger Shark Tank. That's perfect, you have been served.
I'm waiting for the Dreamzzz' Man Bear Pig! ;-)

These sets are all very nice. I especially like the Fox. To me, it has more of an Egyptian jackal look (Anubis).

By in Australia,

I love them, but they're all *massive*. Like, those are not small sets. The fox guardian looks dope, and that Dino Jet is awesome! But oh, it's not going to be fun for my wallet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely feeling the Chima vibes from this wave!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Great sets but man, if things don't improve for me these might all end up out of my budget until serious discounts. It's a real shame the Scorpion is $50... especially after the Cyber Brain Mech from last wave being $35. When will the designers learn that the villains are simply better?? Space Police III had a great balance of villain-focused sets, it'd be great if Dreamzzz had followed that formula and given more villain sets.

Transformers Energon Scorponok was a big hit. You take one of the more badass vehicle archetypes and combine it with a dope animal, Scorpion Diggers are awesome.

I think this probably part of what hurts Dreamzzz the most in my experience, there's not a whole lot of balance between low and high budget sets, they almost always skew towards the large size.

By in Netherlands,

Actually, i think i like all of these. Not planning on buying, but very good, fun and also creepy sets. The thing i love most is that it feels like you’ve been playing with random lego sets (a bit of nexo knights, some chima, some hidden side stuff mixed with city) and you made your own stuff with it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Tiger Shark Tank gives major Dino Tank from Ultraseven vibes. Love it.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

These sets are wild... Wow, amazing line of sets. I wish I can get them all but there is no eceonomy or space to sustain that wish.

Licensing, for one thing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I still do not understand this theme at all, but some of these look pretty cool, especially the land shark.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Am I the only one reminded of Scorponok by the Nightmare Scorpion Digger?

No licensing fee.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hope a lot of these parts com to bricks and pieces. Especially that villain guy.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes yes we’re all excited/relieved that Dreamzzz is still alive but ther’s a problem (and it’s not the lack of sets $30 and below) a set with Mr. oz but WHERE’S ALBERT?!?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Loving all the transparent parts especially that creature in the faceted things. Likely won't be buying the sets but will grab some of the parts if they make it to PAB.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Want the Swords.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I have yet to get any Dreamzzz sets, despite liking the look of several of them, due to their prices. But, man, I'm sorely tempted by 71514... finally a mutant dino to give my T-rex from 7476 a proper fight.

Also like that scorpion digger, and I want to like the crocodile (it's a decent price, unlike the last one), but I don't love the color scheme.

And that Tiger Shark Tank, while similar in form to 71469, is fantastic, even the B-model. It's just missing a Mr. Wonderful minifig....

Gravatar
By in Finland,

Let's hope we get new AGENT theme after this mess...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not my theme but wow so many of these look great!

Gravatar
By in United States,

One wave of villains who looked different from the rest, and then back to the same evil aesthetic as wave 1 and 2. A little disappointing. I am happy the theme isn't dead (yet), though!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ok I was kinda iffy on DREAMZzz when it first started, but I'm loving all the unique stuff and genuinely really good sets we keep getting from it. Consider me sold.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

This wave is giving me some major Power Rangers Wild Force vibes

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

A shark tank and a sauropod vehicle....

Gravatar
By in France,

We are voiceless. This wave is perfect, from vehicles to gorgeous minifigs through accessories. There isn't a single one to dislike. We are eager to watch the show.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

>Theme gets canceled
>Gets best sets
Many such cases.

But it always felt like a budget theme and it still feels like that with so many minifigs copies.

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

A new crazy color for Izzie's hair - I love it!

But what's happening with Cooper? His new face is really robot-like in a not heroic way. Hope he's not turning evil.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

it just hit me that dreamzz vehicles and big builds are basically italian brainrot

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These look great. I prefer these more battle oriented sets compared to the early whimsical ones.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

This was a weird thing to wake up to. Not just to see some peak '80s and '90s GI Joe/Dinorider/Transformers/Battlebeast designs given a new home in DREAMZzz, but also to find out I've been promoted to being the lead authority on nightmares and/or scorpions (and what kids think of them).

As the kids these days very definitely say, this wave seems like a slam-run, my cheese-its. The primary builds look good, the secondary builds surprisingly look just AS good. I like Mateo's new sword, although again, I question the use of gold and boogers when crafting weaponry. It's bold, but is it effective? It's probably art.

It is a little weird to see the series revolve around just vehicles now, but then, I kind of feel like the previous wave didn't hit home simply because there were too many big, and pricey, locations. Giving kids colourful vehicles to smash together seems like a better idea. There may be more locations in the near future for DREAMZzz, but if rumours are to believe, not in the distant future. Maybe if this wave sells well, who knows. Then again, doesn't it strike you as a very male-coded wave? These things are very definitely modeled after boys' toys, in stark contrast to earlier waves.

Scorponok over there is a day one purchase. Kids love nightmare scorpions, you can take my word for it. Maybe mostly the boy-kids. Maybe TLG is cynically moving the goal-posts. Maybe.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

There's something to be said for a theme where the Lego designers can throw ideas at a wall and see what sticks. You certainly couldn't accuse Lego of playing it safe with this theme! I don't love all of them, but there are some I really like, and it's great to have the choice.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Woooow! :O

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If this is the theme’s swan song, it’s going out with a bang. A pity there are no smaller sets in the wave, though, and I do wonder how many places will sell these. (From what I can tell, Smyths in the UK gave up on Dreamzzz long ago.) 71514 looks superb. I might have to get one of those.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

I have bought some of the smaller dreamzzz sets, but I have to admit I’m sadly not a big fan of the theme, despite the well wishing for an original theme.
This wave looks incredible. The visuals. The color combos and specialized pieces. Amazing. Getting a little dose of Chima vibes too

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If this is the full wave, I'm a bit sad that they seem to have abandoned the idea that the theme should appeal to a broader audience of children. This wave is entirely oriented at the 'Ninjago' audience as far as I can see.

I guess this is sadly like Hidden Side which saved their best for last. I'm not sure that this is the best, but it's great with reasonable prices.

I'm definitely getting the shark tank and dino. The croc, scorpion, and fox are pretty sweet, too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am impressed with this wave. I have some Dreamz sets, and I'll probably be adding some. I never knew I would want a tiger shark tank...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

All of these Look amazing. Great colours, creative ideas, beautiful minifigs. I wish i could buy them all. Spectacular wave!

I've never bought a Dreamzz set but the Dino Jet and Tiger Shark Tank are pretty sweet!

As do I. Not getting any of the sets, but will look for those on PaB, if I remember to.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want them all, but I'll likely only get the big fox.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I still need to watch Season 3. These sets all look great, but they're all on the bigger side.

Gravatar
By in United States,

If I were the target audience I'd be down for these. I don't need any of them now. But they nailed the whimsy.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'm going to have to start collecting Dreamzzz sets aren't I?

Sigh... I've been lamenting the end of the Black Falcons knights in sets and on PaB, and they go ahead and stick their flag on the Tiger Shark Tank ... just twist the knife a little more, TLG...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Dang, they pulled out all the stops with these. The entire wave is bonkers. I can't pick one I don't like. Kind of a shame the theme is apparently ending because I feel these are some of the best sets the line has to offer. If it's ending, it's ending with a bang!

Is the audience for Ninjago not also children? Kids love zany, colorful vehicles and creatures, and this wave seems to deliver that in spades.

The original audience has aged up 15 years. Unless they were two years old at the start, they're all now legally adults (at least under US law). There's almost certainly an under-18 market for these sets, but the over-18 crowd may make up a significantly larger portion of the market than you'd expect.
