The US price of Luna Lovegood's House looks like a typo, or is it?

A hospital wing set without Madam Pomfrey? I smell an add-on...

It is correct according to LEGO.com. I was surprised too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well there is certainly a lot to like here! Very nice to see Hagrid and McGonagall in smaller sets.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Certainly took the criticisms of faceless Harry and Hagrid to heart for that Ford Anglia set didn’t they?

Gravatar
By in United States,

As in are you saying the Lovegood price is good or bad? 700 pieces for $90 is still rough for me.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Only good set here is the small one. Sad.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I do quite like the Anglia, although I think I'll leave the scary figures out!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

When will you guys publish the official images of the new modular building? I’ve seen them already on some sites

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

Wondering whats inside the hospital wing (and its dungeon)...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why in the hell can't wizards build a building that uses right angles? Is there any benefit to having things be all cattywompus?

Lmao at the faces in the Ford Anglia. Also, have we gotten more versions of this car than any other in LEGO at this point?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh my god, they've chopped off BB-9E's head!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Finally something unique with Luna Lovegood's house. Not that the other sets are bad it's just that they are so repetitive.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lego is really struggling with the graphic designs of these small buildable characters. I have yet to see one that looks better than a Duplo figure and half of them look like Duplo figures anyways. Not sure what the solution is but the search continues to find it.

The whole set is... a choice...

Also Luna not being at Luna's house is kind of an important part of that scene

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the Anglia. It's a nice medium-sized car build that's more accessible to younger builders in price and complexity than the Icons cars. It reminds me of the medium-large cars from Racers or Creator 3-in-1. I wouldn't say no to more cars like this.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Return of the useless lamp… still a decent price overall for four figures, only Harry being someone super available

I almost want the death eaters just for Doombot MOCs, as the good doctor will soon be surging in popularity…

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why are they brickbuilt characters in the Flying Ford set? That seems like a really odd choice.

Hulkbuster, Falcon, Hogwarts Express, Death Star all send their love. Unless you meant cars, specifically, then, yes, possibly.

Batmobile?

@Maxbricks14:
That's only the third time they've made Hagrid's motorcycle. The first was a micro version in the 2022 HPAC, and the second was the large set that's currently available, but this is the first minifig-scale version. I'm a little ticked off at the color scheme because I can't just port the motorcycle over to my sidecar, and I doubt I can build my sidecar in that color. Basically my only choices are to keep my MOC with the mismatched motorcycle fairing, or switch to a stock set.

Well last year's was officially released early on the 3rd so....

Sure, Luna isn't there in that particular scene, but including her in the set adds so many play possibilities that it would be a shame to leave her out.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

In 76459 they allready killed Hedwig offscreen

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Yes! A Hagrid battlepack!
I think these sets are good, though the one with the blue Trabant still needs another solution concerning the faces (but still better than the bike-and sidecar Potter)

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO: "This will be the ultimate Hogwarts, perfect down to the last minute detail:"

Also LEGO: Hospital Wing without Madam Pomfrey.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'm not sure about the figures in the Ford Anglia, without them the car fits into the other Icons sets.

Agreed
As no fan of the theme, this will most likely be my only purchase here since I’m at least into classic cars

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

I am not interested on Harry Potter these days but might buy Ford Anglia for my Lego car collection. These built figures look horryfying tough.

Gravatar
By in Colombia,

Interesting... Both 76459 and 76460 both have the same piece count, but one is more expensive than the other. Same amount of figures too... Is that really the price that the Hagrid figure commands?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I hope the basic open black hoods become more widely available.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love to see the continued use of the lightbrick as a projector in 76467 as it was in 42642.

This theme should be allowed to die. It's gotten so stale and boring.

TLG: “Oh… okay. South Park characters it is, then.”

It's a brand new bike mould to fit Hagrid in it.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I guess "enchanted" COULD be used as a euphemism for "cursed".

Gravatar
By in Austria,

Solid wave in my opinion. I am tempted by the Lovegood house.

It's not just Hagrid. In 76460, there are no poseable minifig legs: three (non-poseable) short legs, and an unprinted "dress" piece for McGonagal. So those four figures are cheaper than the four in 76459.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can only guess that the bulk of the pieces for 76463 Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing are shrouded by some kind of invisibility cloak.

I love how LEGO went off the road into the right ditch with the Jacobs Ladder horror Hagrid bike only to then run off the road into the left ditch with the General Zod mirror horror Anglia.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The cauldron would be a fun Hallloween set without the logo on the outside. If that's a sticker, the model is more versatile.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Graphic designer raises his hand ... the new background pattern on the boxes is absolutely wonderful. Whoever did that at Lego, please take a bow.

Why not call it a Trabant, after all, since TLG considers Harry and Ron's faces as accurate depictions…

OT: this is a series of nice-looking sets (even the Trabant, except for the characters, obviously); luckily I can be patient enough to wait until I can get them at 30 or 40% off thanks to online retailers…

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That Ford Anglia....I want to like it, but it's such a mix of good and bad. Obviously the figures, but those are easy to leave out. But even then, it very much feels like they couldn't decide between making it as accurately as possible, or a bit cartoonish. The wheels look way off, the windshield and bumpers don't look right, and it just looks too blocky and simple, whereas the real thing has some very distinct details. Dare I say I like the much smaller 76424 better? Obviously that one is far from accurate either, but at that scale it's a lot easier to overlook.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Ford Anglia Speed Champion.
C'mon Lego, you know you want to. It'd fit in with all the flash Ferraris and Buggatis, no problem.
I've seen Anglias with big engines and fat wheels.
But not in the last 30 years, now I come to think of it.
Trabant? Don't be silly. They didn't have the white roof and were a more greeny blue. Good, simple, practical cars, even if they did stink.
I don't think we could have a Speed Champion Trabi, though.

Only one new character is sad. Some nice variants though.

Two, but one of them is hard to spot. 76463 has the first Penelope Clearwater minifig (she's standing on the balcony in the main image), and 76467 has the first Xenophilius Lovegood. Technically the Boggart has appeared before, in minifig form. You could also argue the Deatheaters, if they can't be matched to specific minifig designs that currently exist.

It is almost like Harry Potter continues to be popular.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Like someone said: this theme is so boring.
I do like like Cauldron idea aside awful price and good to see return of clear blue patronus

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is that a wizarding wand in 76461 or a magic screwdriver?

Gravatar
By in Austria,

The Hospital wing and the Lovegood house both look very small for the price. Both should be €69,99 RRP at most. But at least discounts should be available at 35-40 percent within a few months.

Gravatar
By in United States,

like the cauldrin, but that is huge

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lovegood, bike are great. Hospital wing is ok.

I'm pretty much through with any display pieces- for all themes.

Gravatar
By in Philippines,

Overall, this is a much better wave than this year's offerings.

My only gripes are with the Hospital Wing set. They should have just called it Hogwarts Castle: Ravenclaw Common Room and Hospital Wing. Nothing spectacular since the design and layout are quite similar to the larger Main Tower from this year. Also disappointing is the fact that they didn't reuse the existing Skele-grow pieces from the 2022 set.

I appreciate though that the boggart scene is book-accurate; because in the movie, it happens in the real Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Hermione in her Time-Turner scene outfit looks out of place, they should have designed a unique Hogwarts torso similar to the 2004 version.

The rest of the sets look great and somewhat reasonably priced. But I'd still wait for discounts. ;)

Gravatar
By in Philippines,

Might buy multiples of the Hagrid motorcycle escape set once it goes on clearance. It's a good way to build an army of Death Eaters and customize the figures. You can swap the torsos and heads to create variants. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lovegood house is the standout IMHO. Very cool looking building.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

80 EUR... for a car??

Much too noisy for my taste; less contrast might have helped.

It looks AI generated to me as it does not depict real LEGO parts but just "lookalikes", parts that don't exists or off-grid placements, stuff AI tends to produce.

Wizards are like rodents with ADHD: messy, unorganized, will cope with situations, last time house got painted... never?

Gravatar

I thought we already had a hospital wing... but I guess it didn't have a dungeon so doesn't fit with the new style?

Please educate me- is there a genuine TLG plan for modular Hogwarts?? Are fans finding all these sections fit together and create a decent representation of any official images?
Or is it now a mess?

As for the ‘Brick Creepstakes’, a poll feels almost inevitable.

The consumer is expected to buy in on every new relaunch of the same sets over and over with hope they finish the lineup into a coherent finished product, this time.

This image, which appears on the box back, shows this set being combined with 76454 (and that box back shows it being combined with 76435, so the entire left side of the castle will now be complete). So there’s currently a plan to make a new modular Hogwarts, but only time will tell if they run it to completion. From the images, it also looks like they combine relatively well.

That's a decision of the movie series, by first director Chris Columbus and production designer Stuart Craig, starting with the pillars of Gringotts Bank (see StackExchange) and then continued with Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes, the Weasley Burrow, the Lovegood Rook. Possibly, among other motivations, a visual pun on "Diagon Alley / diagonally." I've read one piece of fanfic which explains it as "wizarding architects like to show off with buildings that can be supported only with magic."

FWIW, there's a building in the center of Windsor which is askew this much, although in only one direction.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This theme pairs well with the FIFA collaboration. It's very disappointing of Lego.
