Third 2025 Ideas review period ends: 75 submissions qualify

Posted by ,

The third and final review period of 2025 ended yesterday with 75 product ideas achieving the requisite 10,000 supporters in the four months prior.

That's half the number that made it through during the second review period, when 146 projects qualified. The results of that review are due next, most likely at the end of March if past years are anything to go by.

View all 75 ideas after the break, then let us know which ones you hope will prevail.

Squirrel, hedgehog, and two variations of Bob's Burgers, oh my!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Really hoping for Totoro.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I really hope Adventurers makes it along with Scooby Doo and Asterix

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

CESSNA 185 SKYWAGON by Bryan92609 is interesting. Has there ever been a Technic submission before?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Well, at least there’s less duplicates than last time. I completely forgot most of these, but I kind of like the Chrome Dinosaur. It’s not going to make it, but it looks great!

Would buy Asterix or Catan

Gravatar

Naruto.

Unfortunately, Studio Ghibli has a cap on how much the company can make through sales of toys etc. to stop the company going corrupt. Therefore, Ghibli will never do a deal with LEGO.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Cessna and Catan!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That shrimp has to be the most random set in a while. I love it.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Maybe some of these makers could increase their chances by collaborating. And by that, I don't mean that two builders should work on only one superior copy of Bob's Burgers, but instead, by rolling submissions into one. I might actually vote for "My K-Pop Demon Sailor Narutotoro".

But not "Full Modern Family House". Not even once.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Surely we'll run out of mid sitcoms and Christmas B-movies soon, right?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

there alot that are good, some will be in designer program. other no way. I bet Lego already have K-pop demon hunters on the go.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Nice to see a bunch of new entries instead of the same reruns that kept popping up over the last few of these. And that koi one is really striking, I’d love to see that go ahead

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Looks like I'll probably survive another round of Ideas. The only one that looks interesting to me is Train Junkyard, and I can't see that one getting selected.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Possibly time to change the name from Ideas to ‘More of the same’.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Alright, I think fans have made it pretty clear that they want Avatar, but if Nickelodeon or any of the parent companies aren't willing to play ball, then it just needs to be put on a ban list for LEGO Ideas because the amount of entries that have reached this stage and not passed is ridiculous.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not fussed by many of these. I like the Onsen but can't see them doing that with the Sushi restaurant coming out soon

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I like the Potted Plants set more for the pots than the actual plants! There are some innovative building techniques there.

The Back Street Boys submission could easily be modified into a Beasty Boys album cover.

My favourite though is the Cessna 185. Kind of like an updated version of 8855. Looking at the extra pictures linked to it the big selling point was the retractable landing gear on the floats plus other details like the pitot cover.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Adventurers and Tower of Terror look cool.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The larger Bob's Burgers set, and the hedgehog, even though I know they'll probably just go for yet more "sitcom characters sitting in a room" sets.

Yes, there have been a few times, but obviously none of them have been made before. That's why I hope it will be chosen this time!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I don't think I'd buy any of them. Maybe the koi pond. I imagine that they will get the license to a property I don't care about for a one off set, and they will make one of the "objects" sets.

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

one big meh :-(

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

K-pop demon hunters, spongebob, bob’s burgers, ratatouille and scooby-doo are the ones I want most! I would love Hunger Games, but I feel like it’s too violent. (But so is Stranger Things, Jaws …)

Gravatar
By in Poland,

How did the Google Chrome T-Rex Runner pass the initial checks? It clearly demonstrated functionality that does not exist; nothing in this build is capable of producing such an effect.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the America’s National Parks Postcards and Asterix.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

A LEGO Griswold house would be terrific! Just like a UCS Spongebob set. I wouldn't mind an Asterix set, either.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The only one that interests me is Catan since I like playing the game.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Maybe Tuscany, nothing else really jumps out at me.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Somehow Ideas don't look so original anymore.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Egyptian set and witch book nook look really good. There are some I'm really surprised made it through, especially th ramen set, I thought Lego had that already? There are other really basic sets that lack skill.

I suppose we'll see what happens.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Koi pond is very striking and I can easily see it being the safest pick of getting made. Lots of interesting original ideas in this one, with a few insanely massive licensed builds as always.

Train junkyard is really great, but I don't know that Lego would go with something that evokes a "Post Apocalypse" image. Maybe if they change the colour of the ground from tan to a grassier variety it could pass as an idellic commune. I'd love to see it made in either case.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I know nothing about movie/book Princess bride, but this idea of book in small diorama is fantastic and fresh!
Anne of green gables novel is something which I don't even like BUT this Lego creation is awesome and I love it! Haha
My third choice would be Witch houses, looks great and every medieval Lego fan would love to add it in village :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I vote for random licensed set for an IP that no one remembers when it first came out 20 years ago.

Gravatar
By in Italy,

Hollow Knight please!!!! And a big spongebob set would be cool

Gravatar
By in United States,

If LEGO is smart, they've already worked on acquiring a KPop Demon Hunters license and are developing a minidoll theme for the franchise; I don't expect IDEAS or minifig sets to be the way we get that property in LEGO form.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Great efforts by one and all, but I think the cutoff should be raised to 20,000.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Jumanji and The Princess Bride are at the top of my wishlist. But I also know how popular K-Pop Demon Hunters, ATLA and SpongeBob would be.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

The Yugoslavia Kiosks hit right in the feels. They were ubiquitous in my country in the 90s.

Gravatar
By in France,

Would love a modern Adventurers set.

I think Lego could do a small line of bookends, all based on a standard base design so that MOCers could have a fun time making custom scenes.
I wouldn't mind seeing more booknooks as well. They're cute.

I like playing Catan too. But I doubt I'd enjoy it as much using a board built out of LEGO. Whenever I've tried playing games using LEGO built pieces, I've always found it more fiddly than when using the proper board and game pieces. Then there is also the cost. The RRP here is about £40 for the game, then you'd have to add the cost of the LEGO. So it would be a very expensive version of the game for no added benefit other than it is using LEGO parts.

Gravatar

I like the iMac the most

I know I rant about it every time, but this set of "ideas" is truly dire.

Gravatar
By in United States,

SHAW! So unlikely, but I would weep tears of joy if Hollow Knight made it through.

Shrimp-fried rice also brought a big dumb smile to my face.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There are some neat things in here, but unfortunately it's hard to get excited when the list gets off to the kind of start that makes me wonder if I somehow accidentally clicked on a previous year.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

So many things all at once!
Pirate Themed Restaurant and Witch House appeal to me the most.

Gravatar
By in United States,

At what point should Lego just say we aren't going to do Avatar the Last Airbender and stop allowing submissions? I feel that is the same for many of the themes/properties that keep getting submitted and rejected. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a new Avatar set but I'm realistic at this point. Same with Iron Giant . . . so many submissions . . . and they are all rejected.

Same with Studio Ghibli honestly, much as it pains me to say it. If a partnership is off the table, even if it's from the licensor end rather than Lego's end, then there's really no reason to let repeats of the same thing keep filling up slots.

Although that said, this is one of the best looking Catbus mocs I've seen so far; so if I didn't know it was already an impossibility, I'd be rooting for that one for sure.

Aside from them... the ones I'm most interested in here are Adventurers (gotta cheer for one of my childhood favourite Lego themes, and it's a fantastic model too!) and Hollow Knight (I haven't got far in the game but I enjoy its very distinct aesthetic, which I feel like the submission captures well).

In ones I like but wouldn't be interested in owning: it would be neat to see Asterix pass; the koi design is very cool; and the shrimp-fried rice made me laugh so, while I don't expect it to get much further than this, it would be something novel and fun if it did make it through!

Otherwise, I dunno. Several cool models, but nothing especially wows me.

Apparently "The pieces can be modified to simulate that the T-Rex is jumping".... so probably no, it doesn't work as is suggested by the animation

Gravatar
By in United States,

Give me Ichiraku Ramen since I know the license for Naruto is open

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love Bob's Burgers and ATLA, but I'm so sick of everything being licensed, and the shrimp fried rice embodies everything Lego can be. Humorous, innovative, welcoming to all ages, kinetic,

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Well done to all that managed to get the necessary support. However, if the Adventurers Egypt set isn’t chosen I will riot!

Gravatar
By in United States,

For full immersion, the Wrigley Field set comes complete with a lukewarm Natty Light, a drunken dumbass in a Mark Grace jersey vomiting in the seat next to you, and the overpowering stench of urine and despair.

That being said (as a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan), it IS a pretty neat set ...

Gravatar
By in United States,

My heart is praying for "Adventurers - Return to Egypt" to pass review. My wallet is praying for it to fail.

Gravatar
By in United States,

At this point Ideas needs to be split into two programs, one for original creative *ideas* and the other for “I AM A FAN OF [insert intellectual property here]”

Gravatar
By in United States,

I feel like that exact same Naruto submission is in every other review period

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I feel like Ideas submissions are always way overbuilt. Give us more sets that are under 500 pieces!

You've never seen The second Lego movie then! That film had a whole wave of post-apoc sets, including the fantastic 70840

Gravatar
By in United States,

There are several that I would like, but money is no object if Bob’s Burgers gets approved

I think LEGO is getting too many options, we need to raise the bar for contenders. That way, we can force TLG to do stupid stuff like we did with early Ideas.

K67 ftw! Or at least the red one :)

Gravatar

Go Ninja Go! I know the monastery is for an already existing theme, but we’re long overdue for a remake. Paddington seems cute as well,

Maldives Water Villa, Green Gables, and Catan are my picks

You probably need a third which contains unlicensed stuff but is very similar to what LEGO has done before. Even unlicensed ideas can be derivative.

Gravatar

Princess Bride and Adventurers for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

What WON'T be the finalists, I know this for sure:
Any of the anime submissions, especially Totoro
K-Pop Demon Hunters (we're getting sets this or next year)
ATLA
Hollow Knight
Bob's Burgers
The Brickheadz

Gravatar
By in United States,

A few interesting ones, and a lot of copycats of prior winners as usual. The original iMac seems like a worthy piece of old tech and I do have a Garfield fan in the house. Guess we'll see.

Gravatar

I could do the iMac.

Love modern family but I don’t think the set is good enough to make the cut unfortunately

Slipped my mind!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Muppets one is hilarious! There's a lot of good ones this time around, in addition to the usual repeat subjects.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There's so much here that I love and would actually buy! Spongebob, Scooby Doo, Edward Scissorhands, Universal Monsters, Naruto, all of the bookends/booknooks, Garfield, Adventurers, and My Neighbor Totoro!

....And I bet none of them will get picked.

Gravatar
By in United States,

...ok, that Shrimp Fried Rice one is actually pretty good.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Large majority are IP's.
It seems as though Lego's slogan, 'Rebuild the world' has become literal.
What has become of 'Create the world'.
Dull.

Gravatar
By in United States,

My predictions:

- AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER by Firecracker_
- THE LIFE OF KOI by GenericBrix
- GARFIELD - JIM DAVIS' LOVEABLE, LAZY, LASAGNE-CRAVING CAT! by Packatrix

There are a few that I would really love to see, but I know that similar projects have been submitted and not selected in the past (like Ratatouille, Naruto, etc.)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Quite like Antique Telescope, Cactus Terrariums and Garfield but probably not enough to actually buy any of them!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'll go for the Hedgehog, the Telescope, the Cactus and The Princess Bride please :-)

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

LOST! LOST!!! 4 8 15 16 23 42

Gravatar
By in United States,

Congratulations to the designers! A very nice, eclectic list. I'm intrigued by the forced perspective aspects for the Grinch...also like Wrigley and the City Skyline bookends. And, of course, LOST.

The light bulb one made me pause too.

I would also be very surprised if we don't get a Garfield to go with our Wicket and Gizmo.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Why are all of the ideas such huge sets?

I liked the Imac and the Muppets. But i rather see a new cmf muppet series with these characters :-)

If i still was a kid i would have been rooting for Asterix (btw Playmobil has Asterix right now, and without their noses they just don’t look like the comic characters. Maybe this will be the same with lego as well?)

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Return to Egypt and train junkjard would be pretty interesting, but the rest not so much

Same! I actually know the guy who made it, he’s in my LUG!

Gravatar
By in United States,

My favorites are the Shrimp, Scooby Doo, Monastery of Spinjitzu, Christmas Vacation, SpongeBob and Adventures.

Gravatar
By in United States,

They need to start banning Avatar Ideas if they're never going to do it. It clears every single time and they never do it. They must be up to 10 different submissions at this point and clearly Nickelodeon isn't going for it so just remove it as an option. Enough already.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I'm usually pretty positive about most things Lego, but I actually hate Ideas these days.

75 sets qualified and I know before I even click on the article what I'm going to see.

* 50% of the submissions will be from some obscure 80s/90s IP that nobody outside of the rabid fanbase who voted for it care about.

*A sprinkle of items that I already know Lego won't touch as they compete with existing or leaked themes.

*Set from the latest flash in the pan IP.

*Random functionless replications of an item like a computer or a telescope

*Some unfeasibly large 5000 piece sets (this last one is usually a double whammy with the aforementioned IP sets too.)

*One set that looks like it was built in an afternoon by an 8 year old that is truly baffling as to how it got 10K votes.

/rant over

Bayou Magic would be the only one that I would buy. Kimonos I wouldn't buy, but I can appreciate they are really well done, and I think they would sell well too.

I think that excludes most of what LEGO offers itself these days. :o)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, there's a lot here. I would definitely buy the Princess Bride set. It would actually be reasonably affordable(inconceivable!). The only other one I would consider buying is ATLA's Appa. That being said, both IPs have been entered many times before, so I don't think it will happen. Both sets are as polished as I'll think we'll get though, so if there ever was a time, it's now.
Some of the other ideas I love are Adventurers in Egypt, Pirate Restaurant, and National Park postcards. I doubt any of them will happen though; Adventurers conflicts(hopefully) with Lego's plans, pirate restaurant is essentially a modular, and while our national parks are famous, I'm not sure they have worldwide appeal. I skipped over a few other great looking ideas like the bookends and the bayou set. They're nice, but have been entered before. Also, brilliant parts usage for the tree in Road Trip.

Finally we get to a couple of sets where I am just confused why it got to 10K. The kiosk set being the best example. And while I understand wanting a complete monastery, it will never happen with Ninjago still running.

Regardless, there are some greats sets, and I'm curious to see what wins.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am once again asking for Avatar: The Last Airbender

Also, please the Stand Together Earth Matters? It would be amazing to have cheap LEGO Ideas sets again. Also Totoro is fantastic.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Anne of Green Gables one stands out as a nice model anyway, and lots of key scenes in it.
Like the train bookends too

Gravatar
By in Spain,

So many brilliant sets. I don't know why I bother looking them... in a few months LEGO will pick one or two (not even the best ones) and ditch the rest :( On the other hand, if they approved like 10 or 15 sets from this batch, my wallet would probably divorce me, soooo...

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Lots of amazing MOCs, but I can't get excited about any of them becoming sets.

I kinda stopped caring about the review process years ago, and it feels like they are a solid year behind releasing actual Ideas sets. I would be interested if it was 10-12 sets with 3-4 becoming sets, not 1-2 out of 75.

They should have increase the voting threshold by now. In the age of social media 10k votes is easily met by rabid fans of an IP or anyone with decent promotional skills.

It should be 15k for an "original" idea, 30k for a "named thing" (i.e. a landmark or specific model of car) and 60k for anything based on a media IP.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Both Christmas Vacation's, Scooby Doo and the Carnival of Nightmare, Scooby Doo Brick by Brick, Universal Monsters, Pirate themed Restaurant, The Withch's Workshop Booknook, and Road Trip all have my attention.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Scooby doo! (Not the brick head one though)

CATAN!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Universal Monsters and Edward Scissorhands Castle are the two I most like, but they won't be chosen as LEGO won't select another castle. Scooby Doo is perhaps the next I'd choose, but only because I want that IP to be resurrected. The Scooby Doo: Ravenswood Mansion idea from the 1st Review was much better but was ignored so this one won't be selected either.

The first two have some subtle differences in the model. The second, third, and fourth appear to be identical. How did Lego let this in for consideration again?

I guess after this is (obviously) rejected a fourth time, he'll probably submit it again this fall?

Forgot to mention: Koi Pond will be picked for sure. And maybe the Antique Telescope. Both are simple ideas that look striking, and have a potential wider range of interest among the general public who look to Lego for the occasional conversation piece.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I feel like I've seen that EXACT SAME model at least twice. How can this keep being submitted and getting to this stage? Also, if you're making this set and submitting it over and over, maybe take the hint and please stop."

Bet its cause of stuff like that Office submission being submitted by the same person a bunch of times before Lego approved it

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Ratatouille and Scooby Doo mansion submissions look alright but I don’t think they’ll be picked. Don’t care for the rest

Gravatar
By in United States,

The two Christmas Vacation sets have beyond suspiciously similar names. Somebody undoubtedly plagiarized someone else's title with minor changes to redirect search results.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The telescope is cool, but what's with that color? A real lego model wouldn't look anything like that.

Unfortunately, Studio Ghibli has a cap on how much the company can make through sales of toys etc. to stop the company going corrupt. Therefore, Ghibli will never do a deal with LEGO.
"

Most interesting! Of course, they could get around this by making a set that’s a strictly limited edition, so that sales of the set are capped. But if that’s SG’s policy, they probably have enough deals lined up for years from now to meet their cap without LEGO’s help.

(Tangentially, remember the days when Ideas sets could be so limited in availability they’d be gone in a week or less, like the Curiosity Rover and the Research Institute were, at least in the US? Such different times…)

"Alright, I think fans have made it pretty clear that they want Avatar, but if Nickelodeon or any of the parent companies aren't willing to play ball, then it just needs to be put on a ban list for LEGO Ideas because the amount of entries that have reached this stage and not passed is ridiculous."

Possibly, but we don’t know for sure why they’ve all been declined, and it’s possible circumstances were in place when previous submissions were reviewed that are no longer the case now. There have in fact been licensed properties that made it through CUUSOO / Ideas after previously being declined (Adventure Time, for one). I don’t exactly expect this particular ATLA to be The One That Gets Through, but you never know until you know, y’know?

Why? How would having fewer submissions make it to review benefit us?

By in United Kingdom,

Well I look forward to seeing none of the sets I'm interested in get aproval.

Also serioussly Lego how many times does the last airbender have to make it through before you make it just to get something different to get voted through?

Gravatar
By in United States,

there's five or so of these i'd be interested in - the smaller avatar, hollow knight (silksong was not that long ago!), kpop demon hunters, and the bayou being up there, though i like the yugoslav kiosk :). basically, i'm just hoping whatever makes it through doesn't end up being a sitcom house or over $80 again

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I still think they need to increase the 10k threshold. It was ok when Ideas/cuuso was new and not many people really used it. Now however theres a lot of attention around it

America's National Parks and that's it.

By in United States,

I love the Koi Pond, great piece of LEGO art.

I also really like both Sailor Moon sets. The brick-built senshi are FAR more compelling to me than some Sailor Moon minifigs. They look great, though I question how well they'd be able to actually stand up on their own. Could also be a case of "Brick-Built Adventure Time 2.0" where nobody buys the set because AFOLs are sooooo minifig-pilled.

Sailor Moon's rod is great, too, though less exciting. I'd still buy it as it'd look great on the shelf.

Also for some reason I really like the Garfield set? Really captures the character well.

But HOLY SMOKES I'd love it if we never see a National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation or Bob's Burgers or Ichiraku Ramen set EVER again.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Finally, a Bob's Burgers submission, two even, and they couldn't be more different. I'd love to see something in between, a bigger first floor with front door/window and maybe back room/kitchen. The bigger submission looks like it would be a $300 set and the upper floor, even if they do live there, isn't quite as important to the series.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So many cool designs... that won't get approved.

Threshold needs to be raised to 20,000 - way too many are getting to the 10k mark these days.

I'm always hoping against hope for any Ghibli set, but that said said, the kimonos set is incredible.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

My favourite is the Road Trip diorama, closely followed by the Technic Cessna. Though I would also be happy with a generic, license-free update to 8855.

I would also buy a good Garfield set, even though I liked the last Garfield submission better.

None of the others interest me enough to consider buying one of them, particularly not any of the ones based on TV shows or movies.

I see this point of view repeatedly (as we have here in just this one thread), and again, I must ask, what function would this serve? Why do people want smaller review batches? All it would do is decrease the chances of submissions making it to review, and ultimately to becoming sets. Why? Are you all obligated to buy everything TLG produces and therefore hoping they’ll produce fewer things, or what? Do you work on the Ideas reviews yourselves, and simply seek to lighten your workloads? I truly don’t get it.

Gravatar
By in Japan,

I think I'm over Ideas now.... honestly looking at all of these the only one that vaguely attracts my interest is the train junkyard, and there is no way that will make it through selection. None of the IP interests me as a set, even if I like the source material (KPOP Demon Hunters....)

The last Ideas set I bought was.... 21358 and the one before that 21348 , despite the large number of sets being produced they're just not that interesting to me any more, it used to be that pretty much every Ideas set was either a must buy or one that I liked but couldn't fit in. If the current framework works for TLG, good for them, but it doesn't seem to work for me...

The first two have some subtle differences in the model. The second, third, and fourth appear to be identical. How did Lego let this in for consideration again?

I guess after this is (obviously) rejected a fourth time, he'll probably submit it again this fall?"

Don't you win something (a set to the value of xxx or vouchers or something) if you get to the review round? I guess that's why he's resubmitting it. This should be banned, in my opinion.

By in Netherlands,

"Ideas" probably warrants another rebrand. My idea would be "Suggestions", or I might suggest "Notions", or I could push the notion of "Brainfarts".

Under the rebranded identity the program would then require one million votes in order to get a build reviewed, and if the build falls under the categories of "Band/Singer I Like Battlepack", "Sitcom I Relentlessly Keep Quoting At Work", "IP LEGO Famously Does Not Own" or "Second/Third/Fourth/Fifth Time Is The Charm", the team of reviewers reserves the right to set fire to your house.

I say this because imo, looking at TLC's sale numbers, millions of people buy lego, so 10k people is barely a fraction of a percentage. Also like 10k people vote for it doesn't mean 10k people will actually buy it (cough cough kpop set). I've voted for projects in the past I know full well if it succeeded i wouldn't be able to afford it

They really need ideas to be like 25k votes, it's too easy to get to 10k. There's a lot of stuff that gets the required votes super quick but won't make a good product ??

What Ideas set hasn’t managed to sell 10,000 copies, though?

Moreover, why does it matter to you? If they make a set you don’t want… so what? Can’t you just… not buy it? Why is it important to you that nobody else get a chance to buy it?

SO many amazing designs!! I’m new to Lego and I would buy the following with no hesitation: The Life of Koi; The Grinch: Whoville; Witch House; Pirate-themed Restaurant; Bayou Magic; The Witch’s Workshop Booknook; and The Modular Medieval Corner Inn. I would also be very tempted to buy the Maldives Water Villa and the Train Bookends.

"I like the Potted Plants set more for the pots than the actual plants!

Very similar opinion: Potted Plants and Cessna are probably my favourites (not aesthetically but for the ingenuity).
There many others I really like.
We have to be careful: some sets may not look as good on our shelve than with the background and lighting effects that we actually see.
About board games: it’s better when everything can be made from Lego parts (chess set >>>Monopoly). Settlers of Catan seems to be appropriate. Jumanji is very nice looking but I don’t know this game. (I will have to look at the game and the set proposal details to get a more informed opinion).

Stuff that gets to 10K super quick will get to 25K quickly. While stuff that gets to 10K slowly won't make it to 25K in the time limit. So upping the limit will likely favour themes that are already popular, with fans ready to vote.
