40915 Lion Dance is now available as a gift with purchase at LEGO.com, free when you spend in excess of £135 / $150 / €150 between now and next Wednesday, 28th January.
The spectacular set, which celebrates the Chinese New Year, contains four minifigures and 480 pieces, and is valued at £24.99 / $29.99.

I think the most I can muster is an "eh", it's fun, probably a good value gift, but I think GWPs come around too frequently and not for long enough these days, I already bought a fair bit earlier in the month, so I can't justify spending any more to get this.
I do think the design from the set around 5 years ago looked more appealing, but that relied heavily on prints and didn't actually fit mini figures inside, so I can see why they took this approach this time.
Looks like there are more GWPs going on at the same time, at least for the EU - I'm seeing 30719 for 40€ or more from Batman, City, Marvel, Minecraft, Speed Champions or Technic, and 30721 fo 40€ or more from Creator, Disney, Friends or Gabby's Dollhouse. Both running for the same period as 40915.

Money aside, I think these look lovely and the use of the macaroni tubes is great. Not sure about the minifig head choices though, why do the dragon minders look so aggressive?
A very nice GWP with a surprisingly low threshold. Caught up with a few Speed Champions that I didn't want to wait another few months for inevitable price cuts! (so got 30719 too).
Everything I wanted that hit the threshold was on backorder! Had to get another set to trigger GWP shipment, but that's okay - it came with another small GWP too. It's a good day to use my Insiders discount and gift cards.
Just ordered 71837 yesterday before midnight to get the double-point. To me, the extra money is more valuable than to get this GWP. While Lego has made quite a few very nice Chinese themed sets in the past few years, the only one I got so far is 80107 . I don't know if the angle of the picture is wrong or what but it seems to me that the heads are way off. I got 40611 and I think it looks nicer.
Imagine a retail set with that PPP ratio in 2026...
finally a solid GWP.
