Shell promotion starts today in the UK

The latest Shell promotion, featuring seven new models that we reviewed in September (here and here) has started today in the UK:
"Get down to your nearest Shell station today, simply fill up with £30 or more of Shell V-Power Nitro+ Unleaded or Shell V-Power Nitro+ Diesel and you can pick up one of the four Ferrari car models or two LEGO playsets for just £1.99 each. There are six to collect so get building! Use Shell Station Locator to find your closest station."
It seems that 40196 Shell Tanker is "available exclusively with Shell Drivers Club." The promotion runs until 31st December.
This is likely to be the last time such a promotion will run, so get 'em while you can.

Picked up the tanker first this morning and it did require the swiping of my drivers club card.
In reality the conditions for getting all of the models may vary. I got my tanker together with the purchase of two beverages. Some acquaintances simply bought the seven models for €2,50 each without additional purchases of beverages or gas.
Was the tanker priced £1.99 same as the rest ?
To my mind, by the time you add in the extra price of their "Nitro+" fuel, these a far too expensive for anyone but the hardened collector.
@hardwax: here in Belgium the tanker is supposed to cost €7,50 and the other models €2,50 each. But again, it depends on what (and how) the shopkeeper feels like selling that day. I got the tanker for €2,50.
@hardwax I was charged £1.99 for the tanker this morning.
Picked up the tanker today for £1.99 - Figured these may sell out first if they're an 'exclusive'.
The sets have their bar code scanned so the price is determined by the system not the sales assistant.
Yet another of these promotions which looking at the T's&C's prevents those of us who choose not to drive a car from obtaining them without resorting to the secondary market and paying inflated prices!
... Then again at £31.99 minimum for one (Incl. Fuel purchase) maybe its a good thing and I'll get a Batman Tumbler instead and some more of the City sets with the spare change leftover.
Would love a set of these. Seeing as shell got bought by topaz it doesn't look like we'll be seeing these in Ireland!! :(
So you can't buy these on there own without purchasing fuel as well?
There's nothing like this for across the pond?
In the Netherlands you can buy all sets for €5,- (tanker for €7,50) without any additional purchase. Otherwise all sets are €2,50 with 20 litres of gasoline (V-Power for the tanker) or two soft drinks or two sandwiches.
I hope this gets into the US this time , I'd like to get a couple of the cars.
