Amazon has introduced the 'Spring Deal Days' promotion today and a huge number of LEGO sets have received discounts.

The standout is probably a 15% discount on 75419 Death Star, which seems to be available across much of Europe, bringing the price down to £764.98 or €849.99. If you are considering buying this set, or any other, please use our affiliate links:

By in Canada,

Discount not available in Canada buy would really only end up saving on the tax and still wouldn't be worth it.

By in United States,

There are reasons I lived in Europe, but this isn't really one of them. Now, if I *did* live in Europe and had plenty of money and space, I'd be tempted, if only to own the most expensive Lego set ever, but as it is, I'm fine without it.

By in Netherlands,

I do live in Europe.

I still don't want this thing.

By in Netherlands,

This is a bad discount, it has been 25% off at other stores here in the Netherlands already, so I'd wait instead of buying now (if you planned to buy anyways)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I won't be buying it, as I already own it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I won't be owning it, as I don't want to buy it.

By in Austria,

At 500 I'd start considering it (and even then, the lack of space would be a big factor in me not buying it)

By in United Kingdom,

This is not the discount you were looking for... move along!

By in Italy,

I'm starting to be tired of sets where you can't do anything else but build them once and keep as dust catcher. I invested my money in the ST enterprise and it is enough for now

These bricks can be used to build other things, just like other LEGO sets.

Me neither.
Come to think of it, I wouldn't even want it as a gift.
By that I mean if someone was willing to spend that much money on a LEGO gift for me, I would tell them what they could buy me instead. It would be something I actually like plus would save said person tons of money since what I would tell them would be something far cheaper than this.

Oh, something I remembered about this set: https://www.tumblr.com/lowkeloki/803637244886908928?source=share

But if they were bound and determined to spend that much money on Lego to give you, you'd at the very least point them in the direction of a variety of cheaper sets that they could buy together, rigtht?

That's exactly what I was saying, wasn't it?
Or maybe it didn't come across as that, but it's what I meant to say.
Like, I could name ten sets I would love to have, that combined wouldn't cost half of what this sets cost - even at 15% off.

You saying "[It] would save said person tons of money since what I would tell them would be something far cheaper than this."made me think you were talking about one set, not a bunch of sets.

You're taking it too literally. It doesn't matter whether it's one set or several. It just means I wouldn't be happy with this set because I don't think it's worth the money, even if I didn't have to pay for it and for me there would be far better ones - be it one of the more expensive ones (like the Modulars) or several smaller ones (like the Speed Champions BTTF DeLorean or one or several of the Botanicals sets or the City Construction line for example) that even combined would be far cheaper.

By in United Kingdom,

Well there seems to be a lot of hate for this set (Which I understand, everyone has their own tastes) but i love it, and I just bought it!! :)

Yes I used the link! I also had some vouchers saved up meaning I got it for around £400, which is the only way I'd ever be able to afford it.

So thanks to Bricklink, which I check daily for deals, I caught my white whale!

Sure, but that would be a very expensive parts pack, though!

By in Finland,

Wow what an affordable 850 € set. Truly a game changing price. In all honesty, LEGO sets should get cheaper price per piece the more expensive they are. The current D2C prices are a travesty.

By in Spain,

Actually, all Star Wars fans want it, but they don't like the price. If it were a gift, nobody would say it was rubbish. Disappointed fans.
