By in Germany,

Love the printed pieces, particularly the Mona Lisa.
Unfortunately I don't need any new sets at the moment.

By the way, "big purchases" is relative, since these days some 150 Euro sets aren't that big. At least not as big as you'd expect for the money.

Are you warm, are you real, Mona Lisa?
Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art?

P.S. Threshold is actually £135 rather than £130!

By in Netherlands,

Is this only online or also in Lego Stores?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The Mona Lisa tile is actually a life-size replica of the real thing.

Remember how everyone who visits the Louvre says that it's smaller than they thought it would be? That's why.

By in Netherlands,

also double points on preorder Sagrada!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Bought some of the BrickLink Designer Program sets. Couldn’t resist with double points

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Damn, I already pre-ordered Sagrada because of the return of the Silly Hats Parade GWP that I really want. But them double points... I'm doubting what I should do.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

No 'big purchases' but several little ones, including the long overdue Lego vases 5010392 and 5010393.

I know, but now the GWP is this Da Vinci tribute that I don't really care for...

I need to finalize my PAB order!

Finally found an excuse to buy 10341 ...

You can buy one new and sealed on BL for 19 Euros from a seller in The Netherlands. You'll likely get equal or more selling the Da Vinci GWP.

The extra points on Sagrada Familia are worth £32.50. So I think you can just decide whether the Silly Hats GWP is worth that amount to you. If yes, then keep your current order. If no, maybe cancel and reorder with double points, then sell the Da Vinci GWP and buy the silly hats one.

How if the current series has already closed yesterday?

By in United States,

I've already got a sizable backlog, and had pretty much decided to stop ordering large sets, but it's really tempting to order 10358.

Do you know if they are glass or plastic?
LEGO website doesn’t specify :(

I hope the parts will be available through P @B.

The magic of time zones I spose. The Lego website here obviously runs on a different time zone to BrickLink. Double points started 4 hours before BDP ended

By in Canada,

I had a massive PaB order that was waiting for nearly 2 months for a decent GWP, so I got that. I was also thinking of ordering the Tintin rocket but there are a few good GWPs coming up soon: (1) Restaurants of the world 3, (2) Sea Serpent, (3) The X-files GWP (but this one will come with the X-files set). Double points are great but I need to keep some stuff on my wanted list for later - I don't want to buy stuff I don't really really want just to get a GWP. Besides that PaB order should keep me busy for a while.

Hasn't arrived yet, but from the blurred image of https://brickset.com/sets/5010393-1, plastic.

By in Netherlands,

Leonardo: best Renaissance Master, worst sporting director of Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (or so I have been informed).

I really like this GWP. I've not bought many sets this year because SOMEHOW, OIL SHOCKS, but I suppose I could treat myself.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Finally caved on 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket, I like that GWP too much even though I never get around to building the tribute sets.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Been a while since i ordered directly (backlog, spaaaaaaaace issues) but went for Ancient Moon-Gazing Inn (beautiful set), the latest Stranger Things BH and a Dragonborn Paladin keychain from D&D.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So the threshold for the GWP is $150 on the Lego website but the email I got from them says it's $135. Sounds like they mixed up the British Pounds with US dollars.

Almost Never ever ver happens with parts exclusive to a GWP set

Gravatar

@Kripps TY for sharing I allready wondered if earlier timezones got lucky

No, it does, but there are two issues that can prevent this from happening. If it’s IP-locked, it _usually_ never ends up on OPAB. The other issue is that it takes a few months for new parts to transition to OPAB, but GWPs usually retire on December 31st. So the earlier it appears during the calendar year, the better chance you’ll see them, and the longer they should stick around. Anything that hits the last quarter of the year, you can basically write off ever seeing if it doesn’t make it into a retail set afterwards.

Not seeing it available online. Preorders are sold out already?

By in Spain,

35€ right now on the secondary market here in Spain.

Gravatar
By in France,

I love this GWP, the small printed Mona Lisa is so much better than the big ugly Mona Lisa set!

I ordered two Leonardos this morning, one with the Monet painting and one with the Tintin rocket :-)

Oh man, don't let Soundwave get away...a must have for any Transformers fan. Best set of 2025 if you ask me - and blows Prime out of the water.

Soundwave is TBA for retirement, so there’s still time.

I’m trying to play the “wait til it gets closer to retirement” for so many sets including Rumble’s kangaroo dad. It looks like Dungeons and Dragons is the set nearest to extinction. :o(

I've spent enough on D&D, and I'm trying not to think of all the ideas I have for new Beholders. I still need Rivendell, Ornithopter, and a bunch of Batman sets.

Not so much point in 5010393 but I do rather like the brick patterns on 5010392
