It's the first of the month, which can only mean one thing: there are new sets available at LEGO.com!

Actually, it's a fairly quiet month in terms of releases compared to June's onslaught, but there are some highly desirable sets among the five that are launched today:

  • 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine ($230 / £190 / €210)
  • 75459 Imperial Lambda-class Shuttle ($130 / £140 /€150)
  • 76356 Venom Bust ($50 / £45 / €50)
  • 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar ($450 / £400 / €450)
  • 42240 Aston Martin Aramco AMR25 F1 Car ($230 / £199 / €230)

The pinball machine is a great functional model which I praised in my review, and the Swedish sports car is pretty awesome, too. I'm about 70% through building it, which has been a struggle during the western European heatwave. That's why I have not posted a review yet!

Unfortunately, gifts with purchase are thin on the ground, with just 40894 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Steering Wheel being offered to purchasers of 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar between now and the 6th of July.

By in United States,

With BDP, June 1st, and 2x Leo, my LEGO budget is already a speared bust.

The only new release I'm interested in is 11374, but not without a nice GWP (hopefully an imminent 3rd 'Restaurant of the World')

No GWP now, but you can buy a nice Art Print as an Insiders Reward for 900 points. Or wait a bit for the Sea Serpent.

By in Netherlands,

42232 is the next target on my wanted list, but I'll wait for a nice discount. € 450 is a lot of money while it surely will be available for € 275 or € 300 within a few months. That means no GWP though, but this one's really not worth it.

I so badly want the new spaceman color, but gotta save up for the North American train release that’s coming up

If £1 = US$1.32 How do TLG come up with the Lambda Shuttle going on sale at £139.99 and $139.99?

I do enjoy the Lambda Shuttles, one of my favorite Star Wars ships. Luckily, I have the 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, and am never going after another.

Everything else doesn't interest me, so I will wait to see what deals arrive with Insider Weekend. Already spent a lot on Double Points, so may skip that one too. Unless the GWP is fantastic.

I would not buy today. Sea Serpent GWP is coming with $180 threshold later this month.

Just buy the new Spaceman parts via BaP separately. No need to buy the whole set just for those.

Might need to have to wait a while for some of them, but at least the legs, airtanks and head are available at the moment, the unprinted torso too.
Only the printed torso is only available via Bricklink at the moment and the helmet is yet to be made available.

Yes, the Space Arcade art print Insiders Reward will be ordered at some point but, while the Sea Serpent GWP looks OK, I have no Castle/Pirate nostalgia so waiting for something better.

HATE when this happens, its bad enough when the numbers for dollars and pounds are the same but this is straight up ridiculous. Not that I wanted the set anyway, but its the principle

VAT and local market conditions. UK tends to get more 'easy' discounts like 10 or 20% off than they do in the USA.

I like the rest of the pinball machine too! Should have clarified! I’ll pick it up eventually, just not today.
