Words cannot express my levels of rage if the Winter Soldier is only available in the UK via getting the Helicarrier.

The UK has gotten free sets with newspapers that the USA has never / barely seen.

True, but 99% of the newspaper sets have re-used figures that are distributed throughout the US already, our last newspaper set giveaway had the same variant of Spider-man again. This is the first time Lego have intentionally screwed over the UK in terms of polybags by forcing you to buy a £270 set to get it :L

Why is Azari roasting an apple over the fire? Wouldn't a hot dog be more appropriate?

^Maybe Elves are vegetarian? Or maybe they just don't make sausages.... :)

By in Canada,

@M_blockhead_357 It's possible that the Elves are vegetarians. It wouldn't be the first time that trope has been used for elves in fiction. Even if they do eat meat, it might bend suspension of disbelief for such a strange fantasy culture to still have hot dogs. :P

Anyway, I was as baffled as you were when I first saw this polybag, but apparently roasting apples over a fire is actually a thing that people do: https://www.flickr.com/photos/wildfieldstudios/3067415527/

By in United States,

YES FINALLY! I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these. =D I'm gonna get a frame for the poster to. That'll look nice with my Comic Con masks in their shadow box. :D

If anyone in the US gets the BIONICLE Hero pack with their orders and don't want them. I'd like to snag up at least two or three of these(one to open of course, but at least one to hold onto for posterity's sake), so if you get one and wanna make a few bucks off of em, I'd be happy to buy them. Send me a PM here if you're interested. Thank you.

False advertising! Both Winter Solider and the LEGO Elves ploybags are listed as "Free with any purchase" Then you realise you have to fork out £25 on Elves/Disney Princess or Friends or £270 for the Winter Solider!

Are LEGO that desperate! I guess Winter Solider will be a very expensive ploybag on the secondary market, Spending £25-100 for promos is fine but £270! :/

By in Norway,

In Norway they are advertising for the duplo and elves promo, but you do not get them in your shopping basket yet :s

By in United Kingdom,

^They were not in my basket either but just checked out and they are there in my order history. Also I ordered the Adventure Ship for £24.99 and wondered if this classed as a £25 purchase - and yes it did :)

By in United Kingdom,

I guess so, but it still sucks!

There is a double points promo in the US later in March, do we get that in the UK ?

Is there a UK store calendar available online anywhere that might confirm this ?

By in United Kingdom,

Guessing Lego.com hasn't properly updated as its missing some of the Marvel sets, the Hulkbuster Rescue and the Hydra Fortress Smash. In addition the Marvel Supeheroes page hasn't updated yet either

@dbbunny

I ordered now and the promos was not in the basket, but when I got the conformation mail they were :) I ordered a Duplo set but not any elves/friends set :P

The Winter Soldier thing is infuriating, and you know if it were the other way around it would be a much bigger thing (remember the Pirates Advent calendar controversy?). But at least we'll probably get a Winter Soldier in Civil War sets next year.

Some of you guys never had roasted apples??? They are so delicious! Give it a try! You haven't truly experienced life without roasted apples! No elvish magic or outdoor fire required. You can just make them in the oven! :D

I'm hoping the Winter Soldier will make a US appearance, as I've already purchased the Helicarrier. At least UK shoppers are offered that minifig! If it becomes a US LEGO.com "buy $75 worth of LEGO and get the Winter Soldier free" deal, I'm sure that will anger even more UK customers. :( The MCU is pretty popular here in the US - I'm not sure why TLG didn't make a similar minifig offer here.

Ok ,Lego communication problems , palace cinema arrived , outer box destroyed ,big gash on palace cinema box ,after 4 days Lego contact me , no problem exchange, send back other , but sending back other leaves me 27.50 in total out of pocket ,still no word from Lego ,only 10e on vip points, still loss of 17.50, try again to buy helicarrier , no chance , gave up after 2 hours, so decided to buy full set of elves , wont give me free elves gift, wonder if i lived in London or Denmark,or indeed Mexico, would this be happening ,fed up with Lego.com ,had enough

To be honest the VIP promotions this month leave a lot to be desired - Nothing in March here other than spend £269.99 for a 'free' minifigure or £25 on Elves / Friends products (Not my cup of tea really) for a freebie.

Likewise still no UK March store calendar. Even the US site has the April calendar up already ...

Come on Lego ... Put yourselves back together you're usually not this bad!
