New catalogue out in the UK
Posted by Huw,The second catalogue for 2002, dated August-December, is now available. A cursory glace suggests that, with the exception of 8461, the Williams F1 Racer, there are no new sets that are not listed here already. Images of the new Harry Potter sets from this catalogue will be posted in the next few days.
It seems that 'Technic is dead' given that there are no new sets in the Technic section of the catalogue at all. Instead, its 8xxx number range lives on in the Racers, Star Wars and Bionicle lines. However, here at Brickset we'll continue to categorise 8xxx sets as Technic and use subthemes where appropriate.
