LEGO Collectors' Guide book now available from LEGOshop.com
Posted by Huw,
This much-anticipated book is now available! Personally I can't wait to get hold of a copy. It will be very interesting to see how its coverage compares with Brickset. It claims to cover "nearly every LEGO set produced".
I plan to write a full review as soon as I have a copy.

i agree
SWEET! Looks AWESOME!!! Probably going to get it, if its not that expensive....
Can't wait.
I've already reserved a "Premium Edition" for myself! :)
I think that this book is very expensive, but still, I think it worth the money, if you want to record the classic Lego sets, it looks like to be a nice book.
You can get it here, too.

(+ Premium Catalog)
For some reason the collector's guide is available from the Au Shop @Home site - http://shop.lego.com/product/?p=810003&LangId=2057&ShipTo=AU and its selling for around AUD$38. Wondering when it would appear on the US site......
Mine arrived yesterday, it's great to skim through it, although it has no reviews so Brickset is more useful in my opinion.
Dr. S.
Dr. S where did you order it from?

Picked up a copy from the LEGO Brand store in Milton Keynes today.

How much is it?
I need a price before I consider shelling out my Star Wars fund for it.
is it worth getting? may be i should use the money to buy one of those new starwars lego sets
I paid &163;15.99 (UK Pounds) (equivalent of very roughly $32US); IMHO it's an interesting LEGO reference work, but offers little, if anything, above online resources like brickset.com. If money is tight, my advice is spend the money directly on LEGO.
I want it but im saving up for all the Agents sets
Thanks bluemoose now i have an estimate for the price. =]
Unless you are a big time collector, have a huge collection (300+), or are in dire need of a reference guide, Id say save your money for sets. If you like to see old set you can use the search function here. I admit it is a very nice book and I will be getting one when it appears in book stores as I don't agree with $25 postage for a book. I really want it but I have waited over 10 years for something like this, i'm sure a few more months wont kill me.
Price is $37.99AUD going by the current dollar take a few (2-3) $$ off and that's US$$
I've got one in hand. Yes it's very handy but the pictures of each set is just a postage stamp size. For die-hard fans only
Does the book give descriptions of all the lego sets?
i really dont see the point in buying this book when you have the internet
I was tempted at first- I like the idea of having an offline reference to a lot of old LEGO sets- but in the end I think I'll probably pass this one by, as it's expensive and a lot of set images are missing.
This is for only 16 bucks? Unbelievable. Either it's got a lot less than meets the eye, or someone on some website must have screwed up when writing the price.
the description of the lego sets comes in the form of release year, piece count, region it was released, gives note if it was a special set, rarity of set.
I NEED the PRICE
U.S price?
About $32 US dollars. :D
rip off and its even more expensive in canada
I need the CANADIAN price ! NOT US
NOT USA
Could it possibly be found at barnes & noble?
will this ever be the U.S.? Im going to the new discovery center in Chicago will it be there at the store?
