New Technic sets discounted at Amazon already
Posted by Huw,They are not even in most shops yet but already Amazon.co.uk has discounted the Mercedes truck by 10% and the crawler crane by 17%. Stock appears to be limited so I recommend that you get your order in quickly:
I've just ordered both, it will save me a trip to the Brighton store on Saturday.

Thats odd.
The crane has been unchanged, though by a test was able to see 999 in stock. Cheapest is 152.37 for the Crane with 8 in stock (price is with 14 pound shipping) now.
If anyone purchased the sets from Amazon full price and is a bit annoyed by this, just contact their live customer services chat. They refunded me the £16 difference between the price I paid and the price now, even though the set was already delivered and in my living room at the time of the price reduction. It's buried in their T&C's but they will do this just for want of asking.
You have to ask them within 7 days of product dispatch though!
There are LEGO Technic sets nicely discounted on Amazon here in the States as well. Just an FYI. Placed an order a couple minutes ago for the Mobile Crane and the Volvo L350F
Yuffie - If you look below on the sale list on Amazon, you'll see Amazon are the third seller down at £91.66 for the crane, probably a better bet for an extra quid or so
At brickshop.nl it is also distounted 10%. Given the exchange rate it works out cheaper. I hope I'll get mine before my birthday.
