LEGO gift card available again in Target
Posted by Huw,
Following what must have been a successful promotion last year, Target stores in the USA are again offering a free LEGO set with gift cards. This year, as well as making their company mascot Bullseye, you can also make a snowman and polar bear from the parts. This is effectively free LEGO so get on in store and buy some. Then spend the gift card on LEGO for yourself :-)

Is the red bullseye brick a sticker or printed?
^ It was a printed brick last year, so I assume the same will be true this year.
I remember building that at the lego kids fest in minniapolis.
Yay, a 3-in-1 LEGO freebie! :)
Red bullseye brick is in fact printed (and you only get one per box.)
Neat. Thanks for the info guys I might buy a couple :)
LEGO Bullseye. Cool.
Is there a minimum amount on the gift card? There must be, or else you could get Legos for $.01
Minimum amount on a gift card is $5. Gift cards are already sold out and not yet in stock at Portland, OR area Target stores

I like the way you think, Huw. "Then spend the gift card on LEGO for yourself" I love it! Hopefully I can get at least one of those, if my upcoming trip doesn't clear me out. Wow! Those white slants would be perfect for my Republic Gunship MOC, to clear up the "ugly bits".
Found the new Republic Cruiser polybag at Target for $1.99 at the front lanes. fluke maybe? Ninjago gliders and Fire helicopters 1/2 off.
Last year, minimum $5 on card at purchase. I must have bought 40 of these last year. I was hoping they would become a bit more valuable than they are.
At some stores, fancy giftcards have an extra price attached to them ($3.99+amount on giftcard for the sticker gift card, for example) Will this be like that, or could I spend $20 for a $20 giftcard and LEGO?
There is the $5 minimum required on the gift card, but the set itself is free with it. No extra price attached. Whatever you pay for the gift card is what you can use on it. I bought a few gift cards and turned around and handed them to my wife who then bought a bunch of the $1.19 polybag sets from the checkout line.
I just got the Target Holiday Catalog in my mailbox today.
There's a $5 off coupon applicable to the following sets:
Naboo Starfighter,
The Knight Bus,
City Advent Calendar,
Jet-Copter Encounter,
Ninjago Battle Arena,
Spy Jet Escape,
and Police Bank & Money Transfer.
The Promo code on the coupon is TGTFA25C
There's also a $5 off coupon for 3 of the Heroica Games
Promo code: TGTS9QHN
Both coupons expire 11/23/11
I just got one at Target today. FYI it was in the seasonal area of the store in the back.
I got the Republic cruiser polybag at Target a few days ago as well. All gone today. Thank goodness my 6 year old spied them at checkout! Also got a Lego Target gift card today- had to ask customer service and they got me one. I put $5 on it, no fees.
