Just ordered mine! The only fig I'm really personally interested in is Stone Armor Kai, but even so, it's a great value for four exclusive figs. By comparison, last year's box was $14.99, this year's is just $9.99.

A tip for anybody else ordering — the offer for 20% off with promo code "TOYS" says in the terms and conditions that it excludes LEGO, but I was able to use it with no trouble for this purchase!

Nope, it looks like Target figured their mistake out and the code no longer works, still a pretty good deal for four exclusive mini figures, $5 cheaper than last year.

$2 each for those is a good price, but I don't like the figures who aren't Kai or Lightning Lad.

Do these things come with any accessories, or just what's shown in the window?

@Dedgecko: Kai comes with a sword. I don't know about the others. The minifigures, counting Kai's sword, seem to add up to 24 parts, so there should be one more, but I don't know what it might be. I think maybe Sir Fangar might have a cape? If so that would be the piece I didn't count.

Last year's figures had more accessories that weren't shown in the windows, but they were all common ones (two swords for Lloyd, a flashlight and handcuffs for the swamp police officer, and a sword and fire CHI for Lavertus). Those accessories were pictured next to the windows, much like Kai's sword on this year's cube.

The Chima guy does come with a cape.

It's selling on eBay for $30-$35 already. Lightning Lad was listed at $25.

OldSchoolLego that's odd somebody's probably getting rippt off on lightning lad for $30 when you can just get him for $10 and 3 other exclusive figures with the cube. they should have held on to it till they stopped selling it at Target. Then sell it for that price

Yeah, but people don't know about the cube so it's new and jack the price. I bought two simply to sell the second one. Horrible I know but LEGO isn't cheap and I'm poor. :)

On top of that, you have to either live near a Target store, or you have to be lucky enough to snag one online, before it sells out. I have a friend who has to either drive 2.5 hours to arrive at a Target store (Montana, USA), or I purchase and ship to her. It was the same way with the Research Institute. I was lucky enough to buy them the first day they were out at a Lego BAM store, otherwise she would have had to pay bricklink/ebay prices. Location matters, and is what drives up prices on the exclusive items.

I'll be getting this just for Lightning Lad

Just purchased on EBay for £24 so £6 a figure which I am happy to pay. As previously mentioned location or access to exclusive sets certainly drives and dictates prices. Swings and roundabouts though as I have been selling the Star Wars calendars all week for £30+ having paid £16 each during the 3for2 argos offer.

They probably had to start pulling these off sale because they need some on stock at their brick and mortar stores.

These were ALL OVER Target last year. I suppose if you live in a town with only one Target, you'll have to get it while it's good. Me, I live in a multi-Target area and I had no trouble getting one last year.

Anyone know the DPCI for the set? Trying my two local targets and cannot find them in the stores without it. Thanks in advance.

Hi Wesman21, the DPCI is 204-00-1716. Hope you are luckier than me. They said it was "sold out" but I'm pretty sure the removed from the shelves for some reason. Apparently in all NYC area. So do not even waste your time going there until we know it is back on sale
