Its going to be a busy day!

Posted by ,

The New York Toy Fair is just hours away and we are hoping to receive images from the Jedi News team as well as The Brick Show as Jason and Stephen make their way around the LEGO displays at the fair.

In addition, we will be publishing the press release and official images of 75098 Assault on Hoth around lunchtime GMT and I will be providing my initial thoughts on this much-anticipated set a bit later.

Take a look at the toy fair press release to get an idea of what we might expect to see from New York and stay tuned, it's going to be an exciting day!

I can't wait for the images of 75098, it sounds great! Just generally I'm exited for all of the sets the toy fair (Here's hoping we see that Luggabeast!)

I'm looking forward to the CMFs (if they are on display; I assume they will be, as the press release advertised them), Mixels, Technic, SW, Marvel SH and Bionicle.

Exciting! I am looking forward to seeing 75098 but given the negative reaction to that set I am even more interested in 75157 Captain Rex's AT-TE Walker.

The Hoth set looks really poor! I've never missed getting a UCS but I'll be saving my coin for sure. What we're they thinking?

I'd rather find out what this Minifigures D2C set is, and maybe get a look at the Big Ben D2C too. 75098 so far looks to be a big disappointment to a lot of people.

Hooray! Thanks for the coverage!

The UCS Hoth Base is like a 5 in 1 value pack, there are few builds in it that we haven't seen before and a lot most collectors will already have multiple incarnations of already.

^ Plus it looks less-UCS-like than Ewok Village which was in fact... a non-UCS set.

^Well, Ewok Village is more UCS-like than 75098. It's one big thingy instead of 17 smaller thingies.
